Tom hated Valentine's Day. All the frilly pink decorations, all the couples thinking they're cute, all the off-brand candy.

He scowled from the other side of the room, seeing Edd and Matt giggling and holding hands on the couch.

"Pansies," he snarled and started heading to his room, closing and locking the door behind him.

Tom put in his headphones and listened to some music while checking his social media.

*knock knock*

He took out his headphones and got up, grumbling about how people never left him alone. Tom swung open the door and was a bit surprised to see a certain red-hooded male. Tord stood there with a sh*t-eating grin, holding a flower that had red and blue petals. There was a box of chocolates tucked under his arm.

"What d'you want?" Tom's lip curled up in disgust. "Who are those for?"

Tord held out the flower and chocolates. "For you!" He beamed, grey eyes shining.

"Wh-Why...?" He tried to ignore the blush starting to appear on his face, taking the things.

"Because I-..." Tord stopped himself. "F*ck... can I just come in?"

"Um... sure."

He walked inside Tom's room and sat on the bed, stressfully fiddling with his hoodie strings.

"So? What is it?" Tom put the flower and chocolates on a desk. He sat next to Tord and stared at him curiously.

"I- well, how do I put this...?" Tord scratched the back of his neck. His cheeks were a bright color of red. "Tom, I... I love you. And- and I know you probably don't feel the same way, but..." His voice trailed off.

"You... do?" Tom's eyes widened a bit. "You love me?" He blinked in surprise.

"Yeah," Tord bit his lip, looking down at his lap. "Ahah, s-sorry, I just couldn't hide it anymore. You're so-"

"I love you too," He blurted out.

Both men were now surprised and flustered.

After an awkward pause, Tom decided to speak up.

"Now what?"

Tord lifted his gaze to look at him. "I don't know. What do you usually do on Valentine's Day?" He asked.

Stuff my face with ice cream while crying silently to myself about how lonely I am. Oh, and watch Netflix. "Nothing." Tom shrugged simply.

"Ah, well... we could go to the movies or something."

"Too cheesy."

"The park?"

"Too cliche."

Tord let out an annoyed huff. "Fine, what do you have in mind, then?"

"I was thinking something a little like this~"

Tom grabbed Tord's chin so they were facing each other and kissed him softly. To both, it felt wonderful. After what seemed like forever but not long enough they pulled away. The corner of Tom's lip curled up in a smile. Tord's eyes were wide and his face was painted red.

"I- er, sorry," Tom quickly came to his senses.

"Shut up." Tord kissed him again.
