The Second Date

"Kanan told me." Ezra said.

"What?" She asked, confused.

"What you saw." He replied.

"What did he tell you?" She asked, not wanting to reveal much.

"Ummmm... you tell me." Ezra said.

Sabine punched him in the shoulder.

"Ezra, you're a bad lier." She said, laughing.

"I know, all he told me was you had a vision about the future and that I pestered him for more but he got very annoyed." He said.

"Ezra." Sabine facepalmed.

"What?" He said.

"Want to go on another date?" She asked, laughing at his confused face.

"Yes, please." He said, begging.

"Ezra." She shook her head and laughed at her boyfriend.

"Where do you want to go?" Ezra asked her.

"Anywhere away from our crazy crew." She laughed.

"Hmmm, isn't there a restaurant on this ship?" He asked.

"I won't call it a restaurant, it's more like a cafeteria." She said.

"Would that work?" He asked, trying not to be pushy.

"Sure, lets go." She said.

"Now." He said, scared. "Umm I need to get ready, my hair's a mess and.."

"Ezra, I take longer than you getting ready." She said, she then reached up and tussled his hair.

"Yes, your hair is a mess." She laughed.

"Should we tell the others?" He asked.

For an answer he got, "Kanan, Hera we are going on another date." She yelled though the ship. "See you later."

Before any of them could respond Sabine grabbed Ezra's hand and ran off though the desolate halls of the ship.

"Wow, this place needs some art." She said to Ezra still running."Hey, that could be our next couples activity."

"Don't we have to clear that first?" He asked her, breathing heavily.

"When did we ever follow the rules." Sabine said, and slowly started walking again.

"Whew. I thought you were never going to stop." He said.

"Hey, I thought Jedi's where supposed to be fit." She joked.

"Well, I did just eat like 10 waffles." He said, embarrassed.

"Ha!" She laughed. "Did Chopper put you up to it?" She asked.

"He always does." Ezra said as they neared the doors of the cruisers cafeteria.

Sabine pushed open the doors and they were greeted by tables and chairs and one line for food with about ten creatures in line. The tables were spread out some had six seats others had four or two.

Sabine walked over by a table that had a porthole to the outside space near it.

"Here you are." She said and sat down.

Ezra smiled.

"What do you want? I can go get in line for the two of us." He said.

"Hmm get me the Bantha Burgers with a side of Kamino fries." She said.

"Sure thing, artist." He said and walked away to order.

Sabine then pulled out a little can of paint and began to paint the two of them on the table top.

"2 Bantha Burgers with a side of fries, please." Ezra asked the cook.

"Sure thing." He responded and put his order on a tray. "Pay up front." He said and pointing with one of his six arms to the check out.

"Thanks." He said and walked over to pay.

"Any drinks for you today?" The twi'lek girl asked.

"Yes, two please."

"Here you are." She handed him two drinks.

"That will be 25 credits." The twi'lek at the counter said.

Ezra put down the food and pulled out 30 credits from his pockets counted them up and handed the girl 25.

"Have a nice..." She looked out the window.

"Whatever time it is on your home planet." She finished.

"Thanks." He said and walked over and saw Sabine painting the table.

"Sabine." He said and gasped, she had painted the two of them fighting side by side with backs together, her guns up and his lightsaber ignited.

"I love it, but won't we get in trouble." He said.

"Don't worry so much." She said. "This paint wipes right off." To demonstrate she got a napkin and wiped away a corner. "See."

"Ok, but this is amazing don't destroy it." He said.

"Hehe, I already painted this in your room." She said.

"Zeb's is going to kill you." He said.

"No he's going to kill us." She said and smiled.

"Sabine." He sat down and gave her her food.

"Thanks." She said and started to eat.

"I love you Sabine." He said.

"Thanks do you know what I love?" She asked taking a sip from her drink.

"Me." He said lovingly.

"Not what I was going to say but yes." She said. "I love this food."

"Sabine, this is cafeteria food it isn't even good." He said.

"Well I like it so." She said.

"That shows your sense in taste." He said.

"Hey!" She said and threw a fry at him. "You're technically saying you are cafeteria food."

"No, I'm not."He said and threw a fry back at her.

She laughed and took another bite of her food.

"So.." Ezra said trying to spark a conversation.

She finished chewing.

"What have you been up to?" He asked.

"Ezra, we have literally been close to each other for a few days I know what you are up to." She said.

"Ok." He said and started eating.

"Do you want a pet?" He asked.

"Yes a loth cat." She answered.

"I know right they're so cute." Ezra said.

"I actually asked Hera she said no." Sabine said.

"Why did you ask her? We could of just got one and said 'Oppise, sorry Hera I thought you like cats.'"He said.

"Well, we could go get one of it wasn't for the imperial blockade." Sabine said.

"Ya, I remember I used to chase loth cats when I was young my parents would always get so mad." He said, smiling at the memory.

They continued to eat and talk about loth cats.

"I had a great time Sabine." He said looking into her eyes.

"Me too." She said, getting up.

They both got up and cleared their dishes.

"Thanks." Ezra said to the cook and cashier as they walked out.

"Hey want to do something fun?" He said.

"What?" She asked intrigued.

"I need your paint." He said.
