"Don't run too fast... hey! You hear me?"

Running and yelling after some kids are not easy. Especially since they find it hilarious to see how much you are struggling by running after them.

Kids these days are just too hype, and at some points, I can feel that I'm getting older.

"Hey! What happened? Why are the kids running around?" My husband asked me, as he saw me squatting down for a short pause before I needed to continue.

"Don't ask me... ask them" I replied him... on a maybe childish way. But who cares. I'm tired of running and I bet that I have reached my daily exercise time.

"Well... I can't.. they are running around as somebody feed them with candy and only candy." He states out... or more like pointing out as he suspiciously looked at me.

"Don't look at me. I tried to take the candy away from them, but it all ended up in a mess because they don't listen to me but you" I sulked... not because I'm mad on my husband, but because the kids like him more than me, even though he's only home once a week or sometimes once a month.

I know I can't blame him. But I may say that I'm a little bit jealous.

"Fine, I will talk to them. But don't be mad ok" he sweetly said to me as he peeked my lips to lighten up my mood... but it didn't help at all.

"Talk to them, and don't return before you have got them settled down," I said showing him my mad side. Even though I'm not really mad but more annoyed.

When he left, I instantly went to the nearest seat and relaxed there for some time, before the kids came running toward me to apologize.

"We are sorry mommy! It was not on purpose" the eldest yelled to me with the youngest imitating the older.

"It's fine babies. Mommy is not mad but just tired..." I told them ending with a heavy sigh.

"It's ok mommy, we love you and miss you with dad" saying that, they both gave me a hug trying to lighten up the mood. But looking at my husband I feel like he has a secret he's keeping from me...

I can't believe how stupid I sometimes am, especially for not realizing how my family feel, and how my surroundings are slowly changing.

"Junkai... May I have a speak with you?" I asked him not waiting for his answer before I went inside the bedroom, to find a comfortable place to sit down.

"Yes, honey?" He answered as if nothing happened...

"Tell me... why are you being so secretive right now? Are you seeing somebody, so that you feel like you just committed a sin?"

"No..." he nervously answered me back as he began tried to find different answers for the most random questions ever.. he even tried to crack some dad jokes, in hope for me to change the subject, but I won't sweetie...

"Fine... do you know what date it is today?"

"No?" I answered honest back feeling really clueless.

"What!!! You gotta be kidding me!?" He asked me shaking me quite harsh, "AiLin! You don't remember it at all?"

"No... what's wrong with that? Isn't it just a normal day? Wait do you mean that it's special because you came back today?"

"Omg! My wife is clueless as ever... it's your birthday!" Junkai, my husband stated which made me realize and remember that I had a birthday today.

"Happy birthday AiLin! Do you know why I'm coming home today, even though I was first supposed to be home next week?"

"No? Why though?" I asked him back not being able to connect anything together except the fact that it's my birthday today.

"It's because my beautiful wife has her birthday today, and because it's our anniversary!"

Wait! Anniversary?

"Anniversary? What do you mean?" I'm so clueless... somebody helps me!

"Aish... my wife is even forgetful now." Junkai, you better stop cursing about me, before I will disturb your training time for your concerts.

"It's 6 years ago I purposed to you... remember? I purposed to you on your birthday, because we always said that it would be a good idea to place the date of the purpose on one of our birthdays, so I instantly thought of you, and chose to place it on your birthday..." 

Ohhhh... wait! So...? We have been married for... wait for no... it's just when he purposed... ok.. never mind, I'm clueless and will forever remain that.. or hopefully not!

"So happy birthday my beautiful wife AiLin, and happy anniversary!" After the wishes, we began kissing before we went out and celebrated it with my kids. Our kids.
