Twenty One (Pilots)

Naturally I screamed and kicked the bunny in the side of the head.

It collapsed into a disgusting pile of mildew and metal and possibly flesh. Spring stared at me, completely in awe.

"Sorry," I blushed. "I panicked."

He kisses my forehead softly. "Smart, beautiful, and strong."

I shift softly, blushing hard. "Thank you."

He forcibly removes the emerald from the bunny, pausing at the plaque put up next to it.

"'SPRINGTRAP. A MYSTERIOUS ANIMATRONIC THAT APPEARS TO HAVE A CORPSE WITHIN. POSSIBLY HAUNTED. DO NOT ENGAGE'." Spring reads out loud.

I shiver. "Scary."

"It's scary." Spring agreed. "It looks just like me, and it has my name." He looks down at the emerald. Then at the faint circle on his left wrist. He slipped the emerald onto the mark, and with a faint glow, the emerald bonded to him. Then Spring glanced at the bunny. "I'm taking that thing with me.

He broke the chains and hefted the robot over his shoulder.

I held his hand as we returned to the group. His new emerald gem cold against my wrist.

"The fuck?" Sammy demanded. seeing the giant bunny slung across Spring's shoulders.

"This thing had this." He gestured to the emerald. "And it shared my name. So I'm taking it with me."

Mapleshade cringed. "Eeeew, what is that?"

"Some animatronic thing." Spring offhandedly commented. "A bunny."

"It looks horrible." Glitch said.

"It looks like me, so what are you trying to say?" Spring demanded.

The room went silent.

"What're you tryna say, Glitchtrap?" Spring demanded.

Glitch only pointed behind Spring.

I was the first to whip around. There was a giant robotic thing hobbling towards us. It looked like the bunny Spring had, except much more ruined and had a much bigger forehead. It growled, squinting at us with seemingly failing eyesight.

Then it grinned. "I always come back."

Then a flip flop came sailing in out of nowhere and hit it in the middle of its large forehead.

A twenty something year old man with dark sunglasses, thinning hair, and only one arm remaining was at the door, his dark jade hair glinting in the pale light.

"So do I, bitch, you ain't special." he growled.

"Scrap!" Spring put down the bunny and rushed forward to hug the man.

The man, Scrap, hugged him back. "Hey, little brother."

Little brother?  "Scrap...?" Glitch's voice was barely a whisper.

"Well, if it isn't the thot." Scrap joked.

"Uh, I hate to end the tearful reunion, but we got a problem." Mapleshade suddenly says.

Cold, grimy fingers close around my neck and lift me up into the air. I cough and sputter and find myself staring into the cold, dead eyes of the bunny robot Springtrap.
