Chapter 2

"God, I couldn't believe you moved here all those years ago! And I can't believe I'm meeting you again!" Reese said. I smiled, and wiped my tears. "I'm just really happy to see you again." I said. She gave a heartfelt smile and looked at Kiara. "You still have Kiara, huh?" I looked behind me. She was sitting up, but still looked sick. "Yeah, but when I got home she looked sick, and she threw up a little." She looked back at me and walked over to Kiara, and sat down on the stool. She reached her hand up slowly and Kiara sniffed it. She then rubbed her head on Reese's hand. "Do you remember me?" Resse said quietly. Kiara meowed.

"It seems like she does." I said, walking over. She looked at Kiara, and pulled off her stethoscope. The put the end of the stethoscope on Kiara's back, and then her chest. "Her heart I beating normally. And her breathing is at a steady pace, so it might just be a simple virus." Reese said. "But I'll still have to get her tested." Then she pulled out a small cotton swab, opened Kiara's mouth and swabbed her saliva. "Alright, I'll be back in a few minutes with the results." She then stood up and pet Kiara, and she purred. Reese then walked out of the room. I got up on the table and put Kiara in my lap, with her cuddling into my legs. Fourty-five to an hour later, Reese came back with the test results, startling Kiara. "It seems I was correct about her having a simple virus. I advise you to have her eat wet food, or water down her normal cat food." I nodded. "I don't normally feed her solid food. It's on that rare occasion that I can't find the brand she likes and I'm stuck with normal cat food." I replied. Reese nodded, and wrote something down. She then tore off a small sheet of paper from her clipboard and gave it to me. "The medicine I put on there should be at a Walmart or Walgreens. I also wrote down my new phone number because I lost my old phone, and when I found it, it was completely destroyed by my dog." She said and laughed.

"Okay, so I'll text you later then?" I asked. She nodded and her phone rang. She pulled it out of her picked and looked at the caller ID. "Oh, excuse me I have to take this. It's my boss." She said and then walked out the door. "Well Kiara, looked like Reese and I have been reunited." I said and picked her up, and walked out of the room. I seen Reese on the way out, but she looked like she was in an important conversation, so I left and got in my car. I smiled all the way home.

(Next chapter I'll post what our pets look like, and the video I included was a song that was stuck in my head when I was writing this. But for now, bye my murderous kittens! ~Kitty)
