{Alex POV}

"Kiara! I'm home!" I shout into the empty apartment. I live with just my cat. I hear nothing, as Kiara usually comes running up to me. "Kiara?" I shout once again. Nothing. "Fuck, what happened?" I whispered and ran to my room, aka, where Kiara sleeps most of the time.

She wasn't there.

"Kiara where are you?" I ran to the kitchen, her second favorite place to sleep. Nothing but stray cat hairs. I finally go to the bathroom. I see her, curled up and shivering, and in a weak-looking state. She also had a little bit of vomit on her side. "Oh Kiara, baby.." I go to pick her up, and she wakes up and meows.

"It's gonna be okay, Kiara. I'll get you to the vet." I said and stood up with her in my arms, and put her in the sink to get the puke off of her first. She meows again and tries to get out. "No, Kiara, you have to stay so I can clean you." I said and pet her head. She relaxed and laid down on her clean side. I ran some warm water into a cup and poured it on her a little at a time.

~{Time Skip because I feel bad for Kiara}~

I got to the Dublin Vet Center, and waited to be called on. I seen the door open and a woman with a parrot walked out. "Thank you for helping me, China. Poor guy would have been dead if I didn't take him here." She said, smiling. She had dyed purple hair and blue eyes. She then walked out. "Kiara Ryan?" The nurse said, and I got up and walked to the door. She let me in and did the regular weighing and all the things like that. About fifteen minutes later, she was done and took us to a room with the number 66 on it. "The vet will be with you shortly." She said and walked out, closing the door.

Kiara meowed and I looked down. "It's going to be okay, Kiara, we'll see what's wrong." I said and pet her. About thirty minutes later, a woman walked in, and introduced herself. "Hello I am Reese Kasey and I will be your doctor for today." I bolt my head up and see her face fully. I recognized those brown eyes and chubby figure. "R-Reese?" She looked up and blinked a little. Her eyes then widened in shock. "Alex?" She said, eyebrows raising.

"Yeah, it's me." I said, almost crying. I haven't seen her in six years! I put Kiara down, stood up and hugged her. "I missed you, so much." I said. "I did too."
