One month passed and she was like a dead person, walking, eating, studying. There was no emotions on her face. Not a single person knows what happened between them. Ap talked to Laksh but he refused to talk about her anymore. His parents loved her like their own daughter, and to see her like this their heart pained.

Shekhar talked to Janki about Sanskaar and she agreed immediately bit they need to talk to Ragini first. When Shekhar talked to her about her marriage she said she doesn't have any objection and she will did whatever they want. They know that she is not happy with this decision but they believe that Sanskaar will make her happy. They talked to his parents and they agreed immediately, They met Ragini few times and they are really fond of her.

When Sanskaar listened the talk about their marriage he became shocked. He rushed to talk to Ragini about this.

"How can you agreed to marry me, Ragini? Don't you love him? " he asked seriously.

" No, I don't love him, He is just a friend. " she said averting her eyes from him.

"Really, Ragini..!! You want me to believe you..? I saw you how you behave just talking to him, a glow come on your face whenever his name blinked in your mobile screen,You make my ears bleed in the first year with your non-stop talking about him. And I saw you how distraught you were when he didn't contact you..!! So, don't give me the bullshit that you don't love him. Because I know you, Ragini. And I know how much you love him, not as a friend but more than that, but I think you didn't realise it yet"

Tears were streaming from her eyes constantly. He took large step and embraced her in a tight hug as she broke down in her arms.

"Why is he doing this, Sanskaar? Why? "She sobbed and he patted her head." I listened to his dad yesterday, they went to talk to him. But he didn't want to talk about me anymore. They even told him that my dad were planning to marry me with you, But he said, he doesn't care..!! Does he really don't care, Sanskaar? " Tears were flowing from her eyes continuously as she asked him the last question painfully.

His heart constricted to see her like that. She was so lively when he first met her. He saw her craziness, her naughtiness, her madness and to see her suffering like this his heart bleeding unstoppably. He loved her from the day she argued with him on the topic of a business strategy. Her fierce voice and her adventurous ideas were showing her ambitious personality. But when he saw her helping a little boy, he came to know her soft side. She took all the expanses of the boys studies on her own. She did part time job, without anyone's acknowledgement and paid his fees. How can someone not fall for a girl like her.

He was falling for her deeply after they became friends. But then he came to know about Laksh. She told him about their friendship, their unbreakable bond, their undefined emotions. She kept talking about him all the time. And then he realised that she is in love with him,but she didn't realise it yet. But today by seeing her, he can tell that finally she realised her feelings for him. And he doesn't want to be with her when she loves someone else. He loved her too much to let go.

He kept patting her head in soothing manner lost in his thoughts that he didn't realise that she slept in his embrace. He picked her in a bridal style and put her on her bed. He cover her with the duvet and kissed on her forehead and left from there.

There were loud hustle-bustle in her house. Everybody was running here and there looking at the preparations. Yes, today is the day when she is getting married to Sanskaar. She was sitting in her room like a stone wearing a beautiful red bridal dress. She was looking the most beautiful bride but some thing was missing on her face. Her smile, the emotions in her eyes. Her face as well as her eyes were blank, void from any emotions.

"Let's go, Ragu. Pandit ji is calling you for the marriage "her mother took her hand in her hand and made her stand. She looked at her daughter painfully to see her like this.

" This is best for you, Ragu. Everybody tried to reach him, but he shut everyone out whenever they mentioned about you. He said he have a girlfriend and he is going to marry her soon. You can't hide your emotions from your mother, Ragu. I know you love him, but some pairs were never meant to be together " she wiped the corner of her eyes looking at her daughter.

She brought her outside and make her sit beside Sanskaar. He gave her a small smile and she looked at him blankly.

He put garland in her neck as she stood paralysed. Janki made her to put garland in Sanskaar's neck. They start rotating in circles taking fera's when they heard a loud voice.

"Ragini"

As if I someone gave the oxygen to a nearly dead person. Her breathing got heavy as she looked at the person standing at the front door.

"Ragini"

He slowly took step ahead as her vision blurred due to the moisture in her eyes. She herself doesn't know when tears start falling from her eyes rolling on her cheeks. She ran in his direction without anyone's care opening the knot of their gathhbandhan without her knowledge.

"Laksh"

She breathed his name and touched his face as if not believing her eyes. His eyes too got teary to see her after 1 year 3 months 7 days. Yes he counted every day he spent without her.

"Ragini"

He cupped her face in his hand and pressed his forehead to hers. Don't know how long they keep standing there feeling each other's presence around them.

"I love you, Ragini. I love you from the day I didn't even know the meaning of love. You don't even know how I lived without you in these years. How much I missed hearing your voice, seeing your face. " he said with cracking voice as if remembering those days were the worst days of his life.

Her breath hitched listening those words from her mouth. " Then why?? " she chocked out with still closing her eyes . He gulped under his breath.

" I was busy with my thesis in the starting of the year. I wasn't getting time to eat, sleep or to talk to you. My partner got serious injury in his hand so I have to do all his work too. I was missing you so much. I didn't talk to you because I know that I will not be able to cut the call without chatting hours and hours to you. That's why I called at home to tell that I am not coming in these vacations."

His eyes roamed around the people surrounding them and his eyes stuck on someone as his stare got hard.

"Dadi told me that she wants to talk to me really urgent. So she will call me after some time. I wasn't interested much but when she told me that it concerned you, then my curiosity increased. I waited for her call and when she called me, she told me that how you are spending most of your time with Sanskaar. "

Ragini looked at Dadi and she averted her gaze.

" Obviously, I got jealous. But I thought that you need someone to talk because I wasn't there. And I knew about Sanskaar, because you already filled me with his information in your first year. "

He chuckled and she too smile little. They looked at Sanskaar who was looking at them patiently.

" I was really happy that day when my thesis work finally got completed. I was about to call you when my phone beeped several times. There were so many photos of you and him, Laughing, running, playing, studying, eating ice-cream and many more. Before I could understand what's happening, I got call from dadi."

He gave Aruna a look of betrayal as he continued.

" She told me that how much you love him. And your baba planning on your marriage to him. She told me that you were ecstatic to be soon marry to the love of your life. I was broken, broken listening that you didn't love me back. I didn't believe any of her talk but when Mom told me that their was marriage talk going on in your house, my heart got scattered into pieces. "

Everyone looked at Dadi with pure rage and disappointment and she bend her head guiltily.

" I couldn't imagine my life without you. I never imagined my life without you. You were always there in my every future plan. In fact I applied for the job here only because I know how much you want to help your dad with his business. "

Her eyes were burning as tears were making their way towards her cheeks. She wasn't getting any word as the feelings were overwhelming her that time.

" But, I have to let you go,because of your happiness. You love him and if I kept talking you, I will never be able to let you go. So I shut you out. I shut everything which concerned to you. I didn't want to listen anything about you, because if I did I will run right back to you that time only. "

She looked at him pained and he returned her emotions.

" Sanskaar tried to talk to me several times, but I never received his call,after I got to know that's his number. But Yesterday he came to meet me, I wasn't ready to listen anything, I was afraid he will asked the reason that why I am not attending my best friend's wedding and I can't able to answer that question. "

Ragini looked at Sanskaar sadly and he gave her a smile.

" He wanted to say something but I stormed out the building without listening to him. I drank all night and when I got conscious today's morning. I was in my home, there's some pills on the corner of the table and a glass of water. A letter was stick beneath the pills. It was from Sanskaar."

He forwarded the letter in her direction and she took it from him with trembling hands. Her lips quivered as she read the letter.

Before you stop reading this letter let me tell you the one thing you need to know the most.

Ragini loves Laksh not Sanskaar.

I don't know why are you avoiding her, shutting her out of your life. But by doing that you are breaking her into pieces. She is like a stone, without feelings, without emotions without you. Her body is present here but her heart is with you and she is dying here without her heart, without you.

Tears were flowing from her eyes. She looked at Sanskaar with so much emotions, but the emotion which was covering all is, the respect for him. She doesn't know how she get this lucky to have such friend in her life.

She tried to run towards him but stumbled on her step. Laksh held her immediately and Sanskaar took his hand back realising he doesn't need to hold her anymore. She gestured him to come to her and he smiled and came towards her. She hugged him tightly as soon as he came in front of her. His body got numb the moment she circled her hands around him.

He looked at Laksh blankly and he nodded towards him. He hugged her back tightly, finally letting her go.

"You are wetting my sherwani with your flood, Ragu" he joked and she smacked his arm. He laughed and before anyone could see he wiped the corner of his eyes.

No one notice this except Laksh. He gave him a sad and grateful smile and he patt his back.

"Keep her happy, Man"

"Will do, forever " he promised looking at her lovingly.

She too smiled looking at her, which after so many months, reached her eyes. Sanskaar put her hand in his hand and stand aside gesturing them towards the Mandap. Laksh looked at her with pure love in his eyes and she looked at him with bright smile.

Laksh shook his head with a smile and bend down on his knees. Ragini gasped and placed her both hands on her mouth.

"Ragini Malhotra, I love you with all my heart. From the day you gave your hand in my hand with your shy smile, I promised myself to never leave your hand. I know, I got stupid in the middle. But I promise you from now on, that no matter what I will be by your side, holding your hand, going through every difficulty and every happiness in your life. I promise you that I will love you till my last breath and after that. I want my journey to complete with you beside me. So, Ragini Malhotra, Will be stay my side forever? Will you be my Wife? "

Ragini chocked on her words with the overwhelming happiness to see him on his knees, proposing her to be his wife. She nodded her head because her voice didn't came out due to the overflowing emotions.

" What? I didn't get your answer, Ragini? "he teased.

She smacked on his shoulder and said.

" Yes, Laksh Maheshwari, I will stay by your side always, I'll be your wife"

He encased her in a bone crushing hug as soon as she complete her sentence. She too hugged him back with the same intensity.

He kissed on her forehead and said.

"I love you, Ragini "

She smiled feeling the touch of his lips on her skin.

" I love you too, Laksh"

"I love you more" he mumbled in her neck as he took her in his embrace again.
