ILYIS ✸ RIVALS

With you, it's different.
With you, i do want to talk about it

Victoria Walcott hated her name. Every time Victoria was spoken it sounded like poison. It dripped from her mothers mouth, telling her she wasn't good enough. She could never be happy for her, always telling her that her dreams were fools dream.
I hate you. I hate you. I hate you
Vicky was her name to those who knew her. Her fingers glided over her piano and her head bopped to the sound that drowned out a thousand voices that stemmed from one person. Her mother hadn't always been so... mean. Once upon a time, her mother and father had been married and lived happily together when she was a child. But one day, her father left and never looked back.
Her mother grew cold after that. And everything became Victoria's fault. They moved around a lot after the divorce was finalized. She could never make any friends long enough before she moved on again. The one constant was her piano. It resulted in the inability for the girl to never stay in one place.
Professional runner.
Declan O'Hara was the first man after her father to whom she trusted. He broadcasted her music when nobody else would, it was the very reason she had shows selling out across the country. And so, when he moved to Rutshire, he called her and asked her to stay with him so she could perform at his house warming party (and to see where he was now working).
She couldn't decline.
Ciaran Byrne had been the original Irish mustache man. His fellow colleagues took the piss out of him for his facial hair but he loved it. Then along came Declan and suddenly everyone loved his accent and his mustache.
He couldn't believe it.
Jealously. Jealously.
The Byrne man works closely with Cameron, who is a TV producer at Corinium (almost like her assistant/camera man). Once Declan's chat show is up and running, he begins to become close with the Irishman, realising that they had a lot in common.
One of those things being a blonde haired girl for a nack of playing the piano. The two hit it off almost straight away. Vicky didn't realise how much Ciaran would mean to her by the end of her time at the O'Hara's (or how much he needed her to stay).
The pair loved what they did and did it without regret. But the problem was that they were both very good at their jobs.
She ran away and he stayed.
