Thomas POV

I've been waiting for hours with Alexander in front of the restaurant.

What are they doing???

I sigh and finally take my phone. Alexander did it before, but he came across Aaron's answering machine.

I call him.

I hear his answering machine.

"Oh! God, did you know there was a bus accident today? "Asks a girl to a boy.

"Serious ???" asks the boy. I'm starting to worry.

"I'm leaving," I say.

"You can not do such a thing," Says Alexander.

"Hamilton ..."

"Don't call me that!" He says. I look at him confused.

"I'm engaged to Aaron! If you want to talk to me, it's Alexander Burr, "Alexander says. I frown. I'm moving away from him.

"You can't leave! What will James say if he does not see you? "Asks Alex. I'm grimacing.

"You're not going to tell me that you still want to wait for hours? Of course they will not come, " I say. He grimaces and looks away.

"James Madison is badly injured in the head and some breathing problems. He was ramed by a tree in a bus accident. " She says of an Olympian calm.

Alex's phone rings.

I run to go quickly to the hospital.

Alexander POV

"Hey Jefferson !!!" I scream when I see him go. He ignores me and goes where I do not know.

I take my phone quickly.

"Yes?"

"Hello. Do you know someone named Aaron Burr. "Ask a gentleman.

"Yes. I know him. "I say.

"We have come to tell you that Mr. Burr is seriously injured. The bus he was taking ramed a tree. He has a concussion, scratch, and other minor injuries, " Says the gentleman, not at all reassuring.

My heart stops. My tears are falling. I'm not moving.

"My God!!! Is he all right? "I ask.

"I can't say anything more, sorry." And with that the man hangs up.

I cry, my heart keeps beating strongly in my chest, my breathing becomes irregular.

Aaron.

Thomas POV

I run to the hospital.

I run at the counter.

"Where's James?" I almost scream.

"Calm down, sir. Do you have an appointment? "Asks a lady.

"All I want is to see James !!!" I scream. The woman jumps.

"If you go on, I should call security ..."

"Leave him to me," Says another woman.

"Are you looking for someone who is being ramed in a bus accident?" Asks a younger woman.

I don't understand anything she says. Tears flow from my eyes.

She rolls her eyes.

"Tell me the name of the person you are looking for," The woman says as she put on her glasses.

"Um ... (sniffles) Ja ... James ... Madison," I say. The woman is looking at a list.

"Are you from the family? A friend? Or..."

"I'm his boyfriend. Let me see it, please. "I say quickly. She looks at me above her glasses.

I walk close to him and sit on my chair.

Third POV eye

The young woman with glasses stops the other nurse.

"It's fine, it's me who brought it in," She says.

"Dorcas ..."

"We call you at the counter Adrielle." Calls a nurse.

"I'm coming," She says as she left.

The woman with glasses closes the door to give them more privacy.

Thomas POV

I cry even more. I take his hand gently. He has bandages all over his body.

"James? Do you hear me? "I ask.

He doesn't say anything.

Tears run down my face.

"James ... be strong ... for me," I say sadly.

"I don't want to lose you," I say. I put a kiss on his hand.

"Please, stay with me," I say.

Alexander POV

I walked to the hospital. I feel bad, my legs are only shaking.

I approach the counter.

"Adrielle, it's your turn," Says a man. The woman starts at her post.

"Hello sir, can I do something for you?" Ask a girl with dark skin.

"I...came to see....Aaron Burr," I says softly, trying to keep my tears for me.

She nods and turns on her computer.

"Aaron Burr, is that it?" Asks the woman. I nod.

"I need to know your last name," She asks. I don't say anything. I fiddle with my ring.

"Sir ??? Are you okay? "Asks the nurse. I don't say anything. She sighs.

"Uh ..well...are you a friend of the patient?" Asks the woman.

"No, I'm his fiance," I say. The woman looks at me and smiles at me.

"I'm going to call you a doctor to accompany you," She says. I nod.

"MY DAUGHTER !!!" A woman screams. I jump and look at her.

"Madam, please, keep c..." Says a man.

"I WANT JUST TO KNOW WHERE IS MY GIRL !!!!" The lady collapses in tears.

I'm leaving to not see the scene anymore and to see Aaron.

I sit down and wait for the doctor.

"Hello, have you come for Aaron Burr?" Asks a man. I nod, feeling badly.

"I'm asking you to follow me," He says.

I get up and follow the doctor.

He stops in front of a door.

"I let you see him, but he's in critical condition, he might have lost of memories, but nothing more, do not worry. You just do not talk too hard, he's unstable for now, " The doctor says.

I don't understand everything.

All I want is to see Aaron.

He smiles at me and opens the door. I go back and see Aaron. The doctor closes the door.

He has bandages on his head. I approach him. I take him in my arms and cry.

"Aaron, don't leave me, please," I say between my tears.

"We ... we are going to get married. I want you to be my husband. I want you to stay alive, " I say. I walk away and look at him.

"I want you to wake up," I say helplessly. I dry my tears.

"I...I'll wait for you," I say, kissing his cheek.
