Walking

* Wednesday *

Third POV eye

"We are going to do two walking groups," The teacher informs.

"What are we going to walk about?" James whispered to Aaron.

"From what he says it's what we're going to do," Aaron says.

The monitor gives the names of both groups. Classes are mixed.

"Groupe 1: Thomas, Alexander, Eliza, Dolley, Laurens, Lafayette, James Reynolds, Charles...."

"Groupe 2: Maria, Samuel, Peggy, Aaron, James Madison, Hercules, Angelica..."

"Group 1 gets off at 8:30 and group 2 at 9:30," Says the monitor.

"The riddlers are now the ones sitting at this table," He says. This is James Reynolds' table.

"All the others, you can climb," He says.

"James is careful. You have to take the..."

"I know, Aaron," James says as he climbed the stairs.

"Don't forget your cap," Aaron says.

"I know," James says, already annoyed.

They separate and go to their room.

"James!" Thomas says. James turns around. He touches the door.

"Yes?" He says as he opened the door.

"Can you wait for me, thought?" Asks Thomas.

"After what you did to me?" Asks James.

"No," He continues. Thomas sulks when entering the room.

"I'm kidding," James says, smiling.

"You're kidding too much," Thomas says.

"Well, you're too jealous, my Poppet Tommy," James says hugging him.

"James I..." James cuts him off by giving him a kiss on his lips.

"What's that for?" Asks Thomas.

"For my goodbyes..." James says. Thomas panics.

"I may not come back from the march alive," James says. Thomas sighs and squeezes him close.

"No, it's fine, everything will be fine," Thomas says.

"There will be plenty of climbs," James says, already seeing death come. Thomas smiles seeing that James is worried about nothing.

"It's okay, Jemmy," He says, moving away.

throwing himself on the bed. Thomas laughs. He prepares himself. He puts on his sports clothes and his backpack.

"Poppet Tommy, know that I love you, I tell you, because that may be the last time you hear it," James says.

"James! Stop saying that, " Thomas says, finding it very funny.

"It's 8:25, I have to go," Thomas says.

"Farewell, sweetheart," James says in a dramatic pose. Thomas rolls his eyes and closes the door.

* Time skip *

Group 1 has managed to stay together despite the trees that hide them a little way. Dolley and Eliza slowed them down a bit. They were too exhausted and stopped every minute to be able to take their breath, but the hardest thing is the sun.

The breaks were short, 5 minutes to drink, eat, put solar cream again, sit down.

Thomas begins to wonder if James will suffer during this walk.

*At the camp*

"Now we can go," Says the monitor, who made an appointment at the bottom to give the necessary information.

"What? But they have not arrived yet, " Peggy says.

"You have never been told that you will leave when group 1 comes back," The monitor says with a smile. Group 2 rattle.

It's bad, " Says a boy from Ms. Martha's class.

"You get ready and come in time," Patrick says.

" At what time is it already?" Asks a red-haired girl in Ms. Martha's class.

"Can someone answer him?" Asks Patrick to see if there are people listening. James raises his hand. The monitor questions him.

"9.30am," James says. The monitor nods.

"Any questions?" Asks the monitor. Nobody says anything.

"So you can go," He says. All of Group 2 get on and get off on time.

"Let's go!" Says the monitor.

During the trip, the headmaster Washington is in front and Mr. Fareau is behind.

Everyone managed to keep up with Mr. Washington, except James. Aaron stays by his side to help him.

"James, are you okay?" Aaron asks. James can not answer.

The sun hits his arms, his legs can no longer, his head makes him dizzy.

"Little guy, are you okay?" Asks the monitor. James sees everything black.

Aaron sees that James loses his balance and hurry to catch up. James is having an asthma attack.

The panic monitor doesn't know what to do.

"Sir, please hold him," Aaron says quickly. The monitor does it, but just because he doesn't know what to do. Aaron quickly pulls the ventolin out of his bag with his inhalation tube.

"Here, James," Aaron says. He puts it in James' mouth. It calms him, but it's not enough.

"Oh no..." Aaron says, removing the inhalation tube from James's mouth.

"What's wrong?" Asks the monitor.

"Hi... his medicine is empty," Aaron says devastated.
