Alexander POV

I decide to go to the library. Upon arrival, I say hello to the librarian, I choose a book that has a green cover and sit at a table. Looking at the room, I see someone reading at a table opposite, but away from mine.

I observe him and notice his purple sweater. It's Aaron. As I approach him, I notice that he is disconnected from the world.

We haven't talked for a long time. I go to his table and sit down. He still doesn't see me.

"Hi," I say. He looks at me.

"Hi," He says without emotion.

"You're fine." He nods to me and smiles. I could have believed it, but....Her smile is....wrong. Now that I know him, I've seen things I didn't know about him before.

"You lie. What's wrong? "I ask. He looks elsewhere. I hesitate, but I put my hand on his. He looks at my hand and looks at me. He squeezes his lower lip.

"Nothing really," He says.

"Aaron..." I say worried. He sighs and looks at me. His eyes are dark, as if the light doesn't pass.

"Okay, I'm telling you, but you promise me to tell anyone." He says with great hesitation as if he was his life in games. I nod.

"A person I care about is dead," He says, looking away. His hand was shaking a little. I weave my fingers with his. He stops shaking.

"I'm sorry," I say, not knowing what else to say.

I know what it's like to lose someone, so I know how he feels.

"It's nothing," He says. He looks at me and smiles at me, but this time smiling is sincere. I smiled back.
