Third POV eye

James and Aaron are karaoke.

"I'm so glad nobody's here," Aaron says. James nods.

Aaron is looking for James' music. After a moment, he finds it.

"Oh! There are lyrics in English and French," Aaron says. James thinks.

"Can you sing it in both languages?" Asks James. Aaron laughs.

"Okay, but do not make fun of my terrible French accent," Aaron says. James laughs and shakes his head.

Aaron prepares the microphone. James puts the music. Aaron's voice trembles a little at first, but fills out as he relaxes and lets the music guide his voice. James feels lulled by Aaron's voice. She does not look like her grandmother's voice, but he sings this music with emotion.

James begins to think about the moment with his grandmother. When she became ill, James felt bad. And the day of his death was worse. He did not want to see people anymore, no longer talk to anyone, but Aaron helped him. And now he continues to do it.

The music is finished.

"James, are you crying?" Asks Aaron. James quickly wipes his tears.

"No," James says.

"No," James says wiping his tears.

"You did a wonderful job," James says. Aaron smiled.

"Now in French," James says. Aaron rolls his eyes and nods. James puts on some music. Aaron tries to sing with real words, but he often says anything. James laughs.

When the music is finished Aaron crosses arms.

"You told me you were not going to laugh," Aaron says.

"I'm sorry," James says, trying to stop his giggle, but failed miserably. Aaron smiles. It makes him feel good to see James smile. Aaron laughs with him.

* Time skip *

They walk for the way back.

"Aaron?" Asks James.

"Yes?" Asks Aaron.

"Can I stay with you in your dorm for a few days?" James asks shyly. Aaron smiles and ruffles his hair quickly.

"Of course," Aaron said. James smiles.

"But for Alexander?" Asks James.

"I'm going to talk to him," Aaron says with a smile. James gives him a hug.

"You're the best," James says. Aaron smiles and puts his arms around him.

They go back to Aaron's dormitory.
