I turn to face my cousin. I sigh.

"Yes ?"

"Please, stop hanging out with them," He asks with supplicating eyes.

"Who? Peggy and Maria? " I say sarcastically. I know what he's talking about, but I do like I forgot.

"No. Burr and Jefferson. " I glare at him. I shake my head.

"But ... listen. Today Alex isn't on his plate, " He says.

"And?" I cross my arms and raise eyebrows.

"I'm sure it's because of Burr."

"No, but..."

"So what makes you say it's his fault?" I say in an angry tone.

"Alexander was normal before the weekend, but now he is a little distant and he keeps looking at Burr out of the corner of his eye."

"Thomas," I say, correcting him.

"Hi James." I turn around to see a pretty, dark-skinned girl like me and frizzy mid-length hair.She is wearing a gray-blue dress and white ballerinas. She looked shy enough.

"Yes?" I ask. She hands me a pink letter. She blushes a lot.

"I...I would like to give you this letter." I take her letter, look at her and see the girl running.

"Hold on!!! I run and catch her. She runs fast !!! She has already exhausted me.

"What's your name?" I can see another blush despite her dark skin.

"I...I...I..my...my name is Do...Dorothea, but you can call me Dolley." I smiled at her.

"What a pretty name." She blushed. I let go of his hand.

"Well...Bye Dolley!" I wave to her. She smiles at me and does the same before leaving by hopping.

I laugh before returning to my friend.

"I think someone is in love with you," He says, tapping my elbow. I roll my eyes.

"Hey! you forgot me, "says a voice behind. I turn to see that Thomas is pissed off.

"Poppet Tommy, I'm sorry, but I wanted to say something to Aaron before taking you with us," I say, fingering my letter.

"What is this letter?"

"It's a girl who gave her. I'm sure she loves James, " Aaron says.

"Stop saying whatever you want, Ronnie. Come!!! Let's go, Poppet Tommy ." I take her hand.

"James? Did you give him another nickname? "He asks ready to die laughing. I nod, proud of myself.

He is laughing.

"Bye guys," He says, laughing.

"Bye" Thomas and I say at the same time. I pull his hand up to and we going to our dormitory.
