She plugs in her earphones and takes the first bite of her sandwich. She had skipped dinner the other night but somehow she didn't feel hungry. Her eyes looked up at the sky as the bitter thoughts of the past few weeks came crowding, she was being bullied practically everyday and this wasn't generally the case. She used to be someone who always used to stand for herself, she wasn't physically weak either, she had taken classes in kick boxing for two years in a row and still used to practice in her spare time but she often used to get her in trouble for her strength,it's not like it was different now but still. She used to live alone, her parents had settled abroad due to their work, they provided her with everything other then their time, living alone,she was getting used to it, she liked her own company, staring at the clouds now, her face blank, she felt sick but she didn't wanted to go to the doctor, she didn't like the whole atmosphere of a clinic. Suddenly the whole incident of her being pushed came to her mind she felt the rage within her, clenching her fists she calmed herself down. "They are the freaks here ,not you" she told herself, loud and clear. The bell rang soon breaking her out of her thoughts. She took slow steps to her class, her head felt heavy somehow, luckily her bullies had spared her today, she soon was in her seat, looking blankly outside the window, the teacher had already entered without her realisation, someone tapped her shoulder which finally got her out of the daze, it was unfortunately her teacher, the last person she wanted to annoy was the Arithmetic teacher and now she had done it, she knew what his next move would be, so she prepared herself for it. "Out of my class" the teacher's voice boomed in her ears, she looked unaffected by it, taking her bag she made her way out of the classroom to stand , as a punishment, the teacher soon followed her out, she couldn't make out what was happening, the girl from the morning was grinning evily, by that she knew it had to be them lying about her regarding something, standing in front of her, the teacher commanded "Come to the Principal's office after my class. I will see that you don't get off so easily this time" he says, with a furious expression on his face. Serene doesn't react and just stays quiet.
