That was two years ago.

However, before they left they made me promise that I would call them at least twice a week. And they also said that I can't stay alone in house so Drew and her mother convinced them that either Drew or her would make me company or I could just stay at their house.

It was a nice offer, but I wanted to learn how to be independent on my own. My mum was very worried for me and then Drew reassured her that everything will be fine because she will be spending most of the nights here with me. My mother was relived after Drew said that, mostly because Drew took karate classes since she was 7 and she knew that if something bad happens Drew will be there to protect us both.

I was a little offended and hurt that my mother thought that I couldn't defend myself. I guess she didn't know that Drew practiced on me after every class and I learned some things from her. But I decided to keep that little detail for myself.

Six months after they left Drew stayed with me every night and she was here during the day too. So I thought of this amazing idea that she should just move in with me since, so far, it already was like she lived with me. It was like as every day was a sleepover, and sometimes her mother, Hazel, would join us.

My parents left me some money, mostly in cash, but they also gave me a credit card in case of an emergency. They would send me money every month along with some gifts and souvenirs they got from Europe. Yeah, that's where they were shifted to this time. If I accepted to go with them I would be gone not to another state or city but to another continent.

I can't say I didn't miss them because I did, so, so much, but at least I wasn't alone. Drew and I would have a Disney movie marathon, mostly because with all that moving I didn't have time to watch them or anything at all for that matter.

I was always busy with school and keeping good grades or helping my parents to settle down in our new house, and with the furniture and other stuff...

I still remember the look on Drew's face when I told her that I never watched any of the Disney movies, TV shows, Animated cartoons, etc...She looked at me like I was crazy and then started laughing.
After that she just looked at me, smirked and told me;"I'm going to enjoy this so much." I swear for a brief moment I thought that I'm in some deep shit. And now I can proudly say that I watched every Disney movie, TV show, Animated cartoons and all the other stuff.

For the last month we've been preparing for the final exams. I most definitely will miss nothing about this school.

Certainly, not those three fake blondes. Oh my God, they were horrible to anyone who wasn't rich or good looking. But I guess that's what happens when you spoil your kid so much that they don't even care for other people's well being anymore and start thinking only about themselves.

I remember the first day of school, at lunch time, Heather and her two little minions who were closely behind her, came to our table and asked If we would like to be friends with them because, and I quote:"You two are the richest and most attractive girls, beside me of course, in this school and you shouldn't be friends with these losers."

Drew and I looked at each other for a moment, like we had some telepathic conversation, then we turned to Heather, Megan and Rebecca and in the same time said "No!" She flushed red like a tomato from embarrassment and then stormed off.

Not that we cared though.

We were friends with some of the other students as well, but the two of us was the closest.

Every now and then we would catch Heather giving us the devil eye. Eventually, we just stopped caring about the "Mean Girls" squad.

Anyway, we passed the exams, and right now we were preparing for the day we would never forget.
