"Cut"

The director approved the scene as soon as it was shot.

"First take and it turns out perfect!" exclaimed Siddhaanth with a proud and satisfactory smile displayed on his face..

"Jab co star achha ho.. aise miracles ho hi jaate hain" Shaleen said with a wink, wiping his forehead with a towel.

"Yeh meri taareef thi ya khudki?" Sid said smiling

"Jaisa aap samajhna chahe Param bhaiya," sha said in his mischievous tone

Sid and Sha were shooting an action sequence as Param and Karan for the show.. Param and Karan were trapped by the terrorists and hence had to fight with them to escape safely.. According to the storyline, it was a brother's talk admist the scene and Sid and Sha did the best in first attempt itself..

"Well done guys.. first take me hi perfect shot... lunch break le lete hain.. and after that we will shoot the rest", suggested the director to which both actors agreed.

Sha and Sid went to their vanity. Well, both were sharing the same vanity since Sid was joining the team for a short span of time and even Shaa wanted to share his vanity with Sid.

"Lunch me kya mangaaun bol", Sid asked Shaa..

"Jo aapka man.. I trust your order.. kuchh healthy hi mangaaoge", shaa replied.

Not just in the show, they had a brother brother bond in real life too.. Though met a few weeks ago, they felt as if they knew each other since long. They would chit chat in the breaks, would get along quite well on set. They were Karan and Param in real life too!

Having interests in almost the same fields, both never ran short of topics to discuss about.. both being gym guys and fitness freak.. both loved travelling and their days were incomplete without a cup of coffee. Sid found an younger brother in Shaa. Shaa saw an older brother in Sid.

"Yeh mangwaya hai.. 15 min me aajayega..", Sid informed shaa about the Food.

"Perfect.. Arre bhai.. wo mere bag me ek  box hoga.. wo nikalna", Shaa said to Sid, while he was scrolling through his phone..

"Itne bade star.. aur uthke apne bag se saaman nahi nikala jaata terese", Sid said in disbelief..

"Kya bhaiya banoge re aap.. nikaldo na wo box"

"Han han laa raha hoon... (in mind: kya hoga iska)

Sid took the box from Shaa's bag and opened it. It was a sipper bottle and t shirt.. Sid looked at it surprisingly and then at Shaa, again at the box and again and Shaa..

"Ghooro mat.. aapke liye hi hai.. mera bhi aisa wala hai.. socha dono bhai twinning karenge" shaa said with a smile..

"Bhai bhai.. rula dega mujhe tu.. Mast gift hai.. I really loved it"

"You are welcome"

The food arrived by then and both of them relished it.. They enjoyed each other's company a lot..

It was pack up! Param and Karan had their individual scenes but no scenes to be shot together.. They were busy in their own scenes and chilled out with the rest cast during the break..

Shaa was packing his bag in his vanity when Sid entered..

"Oye sun... Gym jaaraha.. wanna join?" Sid was going to the gym today for his evening workout and asked Shaa to join too..

"Me bhi abhi nikal hi raha tha..chalte saath me.."

"LETS GO"

"Special Agent Karan Shergil reporting Sir" Karan saluted Param.

Param nodded with a proud smile on his face seeing his younger brother..

"At ease, agent"

Karan followed. Param raised his eyebrows asking Karan 'yeh kya hai' to which Karan replied, "Practice bhaiya.. practice karraha hoon..  dekho.. me bhi aapki tarah special agent banke desh ki sewa karunga.. deshwasiyon ki raksha karunga.. aur aap mere senior honge.. to abhi se salute ki practice"

Param felt overwhelmed.. he just hugged him tightly and said "Jis din tu special agent banjaayega.. wo mere life ka best day hoga mere bhai."

"Perfect" shouted the director in excitement

KaRam broke the hug and were back as Shaa and Sid.. They were happy about the scene..

"Kaun kahega Karan and Param real life me sage bhai nahi hai.. Sahi me aap dono scene karo to pata nahi chalta ki acting chalraha hai" the director said..

"Hum acting kahan karrahe sir.. shaa mera bhai hi hai.. real life me bhi Karan hi hai mera.. chhota sa bhai.." Sid said smiling..

"TRUE THAT BRO" said Shaa.

Days passed. Three months already.. Sid and Shaa had developed a really close sage bhai wala bond.. As time passed, their Friendship bloomed too.. but soon, it was time for Param's departure from the show..

"Last scene for the day and Param.. Param's death sequence.. Guys be prepared mentally" the director informed Shaa and Sid.

It was a holiday for rest of the cast as the only scenes to be shot today were of shaa and Sid as Karan and Param. The cast would soon join the set to give farewell to Sid

Shaa wasn't happy as today was the last day of Sid on sets of ZDMN.. In this 3 months, he got too close with him.. He knew that he couldnt meet him much after his exit from the show, as he himself would be busy with the show..

"Oye.. show me marraha hoon.. real life me nahi.. kya aise betha hai.. set pe aajaya karunga milne kabhi kabhi.. tu bhi aajaaiyo milne merese mere ghar" Sid said to cheer up Shaa.

Shaa didn't say anything, just hugged Sid.

"Abse vanity me bore hojaaunga"

Both smiled and left for their shoot..

"KARAN"

"BHAIYAA"

"KARAN JAA YAHAN SE.. YEH JAGAH SAFE NAHI HAI.. JAA"

"NAHI BHAIYA.. ME AAPKO CHHODKE NAHI JAAUNGA" Karan was crying like a baby hugging Param tightly as if he would dissappear as soon as he leaves him..

"Chhote.. meri baat maan.. jaa yahan se.."

"Bhai..bhai..bhaiya"

"Tu yahan se jaayega.. aur chahe kuchh bhi hojaaye.. tu micche mudke nahi dekhega"

"Nahi bhaiya.. me aapko chhodke nahi jaaunga..Param ke bina Karan nahi jaayega."

Karan was not ready to leave Param.. both were having tears in their eyes.. both knew what the fate had for them.. But they had to control themselves.. Being special agents, their priority were saving the people before themselves..  Param calmed himself down and now order Karan.

"Special Agent Karan Shergil.. save the people and leave.. ITS AN ORDER"

Obviously, He can't disobey a senior's orders.. Without having any choice he got up to leave, not before hugging Param, one last time!

Both were trying hard to control themselves. It wasn't easy for them. Deep down both Karan and Param knew that somewhere this is their last meet!

mujhe neend aaye jo aakhiri
tum khwabon mein aate rehna

Karan saved the people and was halfway out of the godown when he heard gunshots. His legs froze thinking about the worst that could happen. Trembling with the fear and agony of losing his Param bhaiya, he looked behind to see the devastating scene of his life!  3 bullets pierced through Param's body. Karan, even though wanted to save Param, couldnt take his step ahead towards him as he had promised him about not returning back, no matter what so ever happens!

"CUT" the director shouted. By this time, not a single person on the set was left who hadnt shed tears. All eyes were numb. The scene held that much power to make the cast, the writers, the spotdada even the directors and producers cry. Shaa and Sid too were in tears. Shaa rushed towards Sid and gave him a bone crushing brotherly hug. Both took some time to come out of the zone they were in. Playing Karan and Param today had drained them mentally. 

Main rahoon ya na rahoon
tum mujh mein kahin baaki rehna

Karan was sitting by the window, alone. Its been three days he had lost his mentor, his friend, his everything. 

KARAN'S POV (while talking to Param's photo)

kaash mene aapki baat naa maaani hoti bhaiya.. to shayad aap yahan hote.. mere paas.. kaash mene uss waqt special agent banke nahi, aapka bhai banke baat taal di hoti.. to shayad me aapko bacha pata.. aapne to kaha tha na, aap hamesha mera saath doge.. mere khushiyon ko, achievements ko celebrate karoge...

Kal to itna bada din hai bhaiya.. to kyun nahi ho aap yahan.. Aapko pata hai, mujhe yeh log promote karrahe, major banarahe.. arre par kya faida major ban ne ka.. Jab aapki khushiyon me sabse zyaada khush hone wala insaan hi aapke paas nahi hai.. Kya faida wo Major ban ke jo apne hi bhai ko naa bacha saka.. Kaash aapke jagah me hota..

aap to chale gaye mujhe chhodke.. mera kya? Baby, bhabhi.. hamara kya.. aapke jaane ke baad hum sab ka kya haal horaha hai.. maalum hai na aapko.. dekh rahe ho na aap.. KHUSHI HORAHI AAPKO?? HUM SABKO AISE DEKHKE??

Karan was in tears. he was broken and devastated from within. He felt lonely.. He felt helpless

Sirf aap nahi gaye ho bhaiya.. aapne apne saath uss haste khelte karan ko bhi leliya hai.. jo ab kabhi wapas nahi aapaayega.. i miss u bhaiya.. i miss you.. i need you.. nahi chal paaunga akele iss duniya me aapke bina.. mere bhagwaan ho aap.. kaise rahun aapke bina.. I MISS U BHAIYAA..

KARAN'S POV ENDS

Witnessing this scene was too much to handle. As soon as the scene got over. Sid ran and hugged Shaa. He knew Shaa would be completely drained out mentally after such back to back emotional scenes. It was the most needed hug!

Time went on and finally it was time for pack up. The whole cast gave a warm farewell to Sid. Everyone had tears in their eyes. GOODBYES ARE HARD! Shaa was most emotional but didnt show on his face. Sid could understand it.. Afterall he and shaa had spent much of their time together in the past few months. Their deep bond both on screen and off screen was to be missed the most.. Finally after sometime, Sid cut the cake and fed everyone. After some dance and fun, it was finally time to say goodbye.. Sid left the set. Everyone went to their own destination..

................

For the next few days, all were tremendously busy in their own life. Shaa and Sid couldnt talk much, neither in personal not in call. Shaa had planned to visit Sid the coming Sunday. But, Destiny had its own plans. And not all plans are for giving joy!

The next day all got the news of Siddhaant's sudden demise! Life is unpredictable. The news was shocking for everyone. Just a few days before he was with them, shooting his last scenes for the show.. and today!

Many actors went to visit him for the last time.. Many prayed for his soul. The brightness of day was soon conquered by the darkness of night. The rain showered.. looks as if the nature was crying too for she had lost a gem like Sid.

Shaa stood by the window, the same way Karan did. 

"They feel the pain of losing you.. they are crying.. sab ro rahe aapke liye bhai.. aap to aajtak hume hasate the.. to aise rulake kyun chale gaye? kuchh dino pehle hi aapke saath masti majak karrahe the.. aur aaj dekho.. aap sahi kehte the.. life unpredictable hai.. par itni zyaada.."

Shaa had tears in his eyes.. Who thought that a small scene of the show would turn into reality this soon! Seemed like yesterday Karan was crying over losing Param, and today its Shaa for Sid.

"I thought ki abhi to hamara safar bohut lamba hai.. saath me coffee pine jaayenge,, gym jaayengee,, there was a lot to learn from you.. kuchh zyaada hi Param ban gaye aap.. aap bhi beech me chhodke chale gaye. Kaash kucchh aur waqt milta aapke saath.. i know yeh safar lamba nahi tha.. par i am blessed to have known u in my life.."

"Aapke roop me ek bada bhai mila mujhe.. i hope aap jahan bhi ho.. khush ho.. i miss you bhai"

He closed his eyes letting the tear drops escape. The rain was making him more emotional. Suddenly he felt  Sid's smiling face in front of him, as if conveying him that he is at a happier place now! Shaa smiled, with tears still flowing from his closed eyes!

I thought the journey would be long
But you became the shortest nights
The pain of losing you is much more today..
'Coz not just once..I lost you twice!
