(Files about suicide, self harm, abuse, cuts, blah blah, not every file is mentioned obviously cuz that would literally take like 18 hours to come up with, just some of the important things. Some of these things, Jimmy had never talked about in any of the chapters so it might be confusing. He had never talked about the doctor because he never wanted to remember the doctor.)

The doctor of the palace was sworn to secrecy by the queen.

But she was dead so maybe it was alright to share.

"Prince Joel, what may I do for you?" The elderly axolotl hybrid asked.

"Uh, I am looking for information of Prince Jimmy's medical background." The axolotl sighed at that.

"I knew that somebody was going to come looking for them soon." He went over to one of his filing cabinets, using a key that was on a necklace around his neck. He opened the cabinet and pulled out a large file. "This has everything on it. If anyone knows that I have given it to anyone, I will be killed for treason. I promised the queen not to share anything."

Joel gave him a kind smile. "Thank you doctor, be assured that I will protect you will my power." The Mazelean prince then walked back up the stairs of the doctor's office, a large file in hand.

Joel sat in his private study.

The doors were locked and he had cleared his entire schedule for the next few days. He knew that whatever he was about to find, it wouldn't be easy.

So he began with an uneasy sigh.

Prince Jimmy - 4 years old

Chipped tooth

Chipped a tooth when running around with Prince Grian and Princess Lizzie in the palace gardens. He fell on the concrete.

We could easily fix the chipped tooth, it would be a simple procedure. The Queen told us not to. Prince Jimmy needed to learn according to her.

Despite better judgment, we will leave the chipped tooth alone.

Prince Jimmy - 6 years old

Dislocated Shoulder

The Queen claimed that he fell out of a tree. There were no witnesses to say otherwise. There are other signs of injury like bruises and cuts all over his skin.

He is severely malnourished. Possible eating disorder?

Prince Jimmy passed out once the shoulder was popped back in. He doesn't seem to remember.

Prince Jimmy - 6 years old

Cuts on wrists

Prince Jimmy came down to the office late into the night. Nobody knew he had came by himself. Said he had made a mistake.

I wanted to ask what had happened but he wouldn't answer. Looks suspiciously like self harm. About ten cuts on each arm.

Stitched some of the large cuts, cleaned and wrapped the others. Sent him to bed, tried to set him up for an appointment to talk about it.

Prince Jimmy - 6 years old

Severe cuts on back

Deep cuts on his back that needs stitches. The Queen claimed he was running in the thorn bushes again. Unlikely due to the angle of the cuts.

Possibly whip wounds?

It took four hours to completely stitch up everything.

Prince Jimmy - 6 through 7 years old

Numerous cuts

Once every month, Jimmy would come down to the office. Moved from arms to shoulders and thighs. Made sure I would never share with anyone. There are also many signs of abuse like bruises and cuts.

Prince Jimmy - 7 years old

Suicide attempt

Was barely breathing when I arrived to the room. Both the Queen and King were distraught. He hung himself but was quickly found. Prince Jimmy has severe rope burns on neck. It irritated his gills. Would probably permanently scar the gills and around his neck.

Told to 'quarantine' the side of the palace. Honestly, Jimmy was already sick. Some of his cuts had gotten infected and caused him to have a fever. With his malnutrition, it added up to make him deathly ill at the moment. We weren't sure if he was even going to survive the night.

Prince Jimmy - 9 through 11 years old (add 13 through 14)

Self harm

It wasn't common but it started the day after his 9th birthday. Possibly connected to being the next in line as King. It had been years since Jimmy had shown mental health issues.

Add: happened a lot more frequently after the death of the King and Queen. Had to be treated in the bunket for the first few weeks. Had gotten better once Queen Lizzie arrived and took the place on the throne. Stopped self harming.

Joel put down the last reports. He looked at the clock, seeing that it was the next day. Each little event had post it notes attatched, speculation that Joel read through. His eyes were red from exhaustion and mourning. He hadn't known every detail and it was brutal to read. It was not just speculation at this point, Jimmy was depressed, Jimmy was abused and he did try to kill himself.

A knock was at the door.

"Joel?" Lizzie's voice asked.

Joel got up, back cracking as he walked to the door. He opened it, allowing Lizzie to walk in.

"You called me here?" She asked, breifly looking at the messy desk before looking back to him.

"Lizzie, this might be hard to explain but, you need to know." He looked through the pages, pulling one out. He handed it to her.

"Oh yeah, Jimmy chipped his tooth. Scared Grian so bad, he was trying everything to make Jimmy stop crying." Her eyes drifted over the page. "So, why do I need to know about a chipped tooth?"

"Liz, this is all of his medical reports." Her eyes looked back to the desk, slightly paling at the sight of all the papers.

"All of them?" She asked, shock in her voice.

He nodded his head. "I think you and Grian need to go through them together, alright?"

Lizzie nodded her head in understanding. This was serious, not all these files were going to be about more chipped teeth or hiding in the thorn bushes. And looking at Joel, he looked completely worn out. She recognized the grief in his eyes.

She had to talk to Grian.
