Zero's POV ♾

After Gadget explained his reason and confessed his love to me, I was extremely shocked and speechless.

He saved my life because of how much he really cared and loved about me?

I sat there in silence as Gadget was waiting patiently for my response about his love confession.

That's when I realized that I secretly had a crush on him and had been in love him since when we first met each other too.

After I thought about that, I felt tears beginning to appear in my eyes, threatening to fall to the sides of my face.

"Gadget, I accept your confession. So...Yes. I-I want to be your boyfriend." I answered as my voice began to crack a little.

Gadget smiled before he brought out a red bracelet and putted it on the wrist of my right hand.

After doing that, he brought out a blue bracelet and letted me help him put it on the wrist of his left hand, before we looked at each other in direct eye contact. "These bracelets are proof that we're lovers now." He explained.

After he said that, I started to cry as I felt Gadget pull me into a hug, gently.

"I love you, Infy." I heard Gadget say after I stopped crying.

"I love you too, Gadgey." I replied as we came in eye contact again before smiling at each other.

"Hey, Infy? There's something I want to tell you..." Gadget mentions as he rested his hand on my shoulder.

"What is it?" I asked.

And that's when he did something unpredictable that I highly doubt that the both of us would ever forget.

Gadget's POV ⚙️

After trying my best to keep my urges down the last several times until for this very day, I couldn't control it anymore.

I pulled Zero close and kissed him deeply on the lips.

I figured he'd be shocked since I suddenly just did this out of nowhere.

I smiled and started chuckling a bit after noticing the look on his face once I parted from his lips, his facial expression showing that he was pretty surprised but starstruck as he was blushing a little bit.

But, I can see love in his eyes as well.

"W-Wow..." Zero murmured. "I didn't even know that you'd turn out to be a good kisser, Gadget..."

"Heh heh...Thanks. I've been wanting to do this with you for a very long time." I replied as I started to blush a little myself.

"Can we do that again? Cuz, I really liked it, to be honest..." Zero asked.

I chuckled a little before nodding.

"Sure."

After we kissed each other again, we both lied down on the bed, before pulling each other close into our arms.

"Infy? I know you probably aren't gonna like this and would want to stay here in my house forever as much as I want to, but...

Tomorrow, we're heading over to the resistance base, so you can explain everything before you got hurt." I mentioned before hearing Zero whine a little.

"But, I don't want to!" He complained. "They might try to take me away from you, have me arrested and thrown into prison for chaos-knows-how-long my sentence will be. I'll never be able to see you again on top of that!"

"Then, I'll help you escape out of there. And like I said before, if they think you're still working with Dr.Eggman, I'll quit the resistance and we can run away together before going into hiding." I said.

"And I mean it very well."

"But, what about my injuries?" Zero asked, feeling a little worried about them.

"You'll be fully healed in the morning." I answered simply. "And, don't worry about anything...I'll stay by your side. I promise you that. Okay?"
