Angie was walking with Kurt, Santana, Mercedes, Brittany and Blaine. Santana was still going on about how New Directions beat the Trouble Tones at Sectionals.
"Admit it, Wonder twins, the only reason why the New Directions beat the Trouble Tones at Sectionals is because that pervy clown judge was freaking high as a kite." Santana states.
"And we did Michael Jackson. You guys didn't." Angie comments.
"That was weeks ago. Why are you still obssessing?" Kurt asks.
"One word, Kurt. Michael." Mercedes says.
"Guys, fear not. The world tour of the Cirque du Soleil tribute show, Immortal, to Michael Jackson is coming to Columbus in June. We should all go." Blaine says.
"You don't get it. I don't want to see the spectacle that is Michael. I want to be the spectacle." Mercedes emphasizes.
Will walks up to his students. "Everything okay?"
"Look, we love being back in New Directions, but... We hate that we missed our chance this year to do Michael." Mercedes says.
Will nods. "Yeah, I get it. And I've been thinking a lot about Regionals and... maybe we can do Michael again." He says and walks off.
Blaine smiles. "I, for one, know exactly what song we should start Michael with."
Blaine breaks out into Michael Jackson's 'Wanna Be Startin' Something.'
[Wanna Be Startin' Something by Blaine]
The number ends in the auditorium, with all of the New Directions dressed in different MJ costumes.
(Angie's Michael costume)

Finn walks up to Angie, who's at her locker.
"Okay, it's been exactly 3 days to the minute since I proposed to you which is the amount of time you said you needed before you'd give me an answer."
Angie sighs. "Look, this isn't the kind of decision you can make on a deadline."
"Look, I understand, you said you needed some time, but... not hearing a decision's kind of bumming me out." Finn states.
"No. Look... I love you, okay? And... I want to marry you someday, and... I, really, I'm open to anything. This is all just happening so fast, and I don't understand it. I mean, I... I need you to help me understand." Angie explains.
"My point is that those rings are-are... will always be a reminder of exactly how we feel right now." Finn tells her.
"Look, that's really romantic, but I have to be honest — this all just sounds really crazy to me, okay? I don't need to marry you to keep from straying — you're the only guy for me. Okay, I guess... my answer for now is..." Angie is cut off by Finn.
"No, no, don't... don't say anything. You're right, we shouldn't make this kind of a decision on a deadline. Just, uh... take a couple more days, okay?" He says.
Angie nods.
She's got some serious thinking to do.
/ / /
"Well, they can have our Journey and our Dreamgirls, but pilfering my Michael, mm-mm, that's another level, not okay." Mercedes says.
Apparently, Blaine had told Sebastian they were thinking of doing Michael for Regionals. Now everyone — excluding Angie and Kurt — thought Blaine was betraying the New Directions.
"I'm not exactly comfortable having this conversation with Blaine in the room." Santana says.
"Clearly, once a Warbler, always a Warbler." Artie comments.
"Uh, wh-what?" Blaine asks.
"Dude, you told them what we were gonna do." Finn says.
"You're like a modern-day Eggs Benedict. He's on notice as far as I'm concerned." Santana remarks.
"Leave Blaine alone," Angie defends.
"We should all be on notice. I mean, next to Vocal Adrenaline, the Warblers are the best Glee Club in the state, and for a lot of us, this is our last shot at a championship, so we should stop complaining about the Warblers and figure out how to beat them." Finn states.
"Thank you Finn." Angie says.
Will smiles. "I couldn't have said it better myself, Finn. I'm less worried about our set list right now and more interested in getting us in the right mindset to crush those guys. Which is why our lesson for the week is..."
Will writes 'W.W.M.J.D.' on the whiteboard.
"What Would Michael Jackson Do?" Will asks.
"He'd fight back." Angie answers.
"He'd say Regionals is ours, MJ is ours, and if they want it, they can pry it from our sequin-gloved hand." Finn says.
Artie nods. "Mm-hmm. Straight up. In 1983, MTV said they wouldn't air his "Billie Jean" video. What'd he do? He fought back. They aired it, and the Thriller album sold an additional ten million copies."
"That's right." Mike agrees.
"I know what Michael would do. I think he would take it to the streets." Blaine smirks.
Angie smirks too.
"I smell a Jackson-off."

The New Directions and the Warblers meet up in a parking lot.
"Well... we're here." Sebastian tells Blaine and Santana.
"We got something to settle. Both of us want to use MJ, but only one can." Blaine says.
"We're having a Jackson-off, Nick at Nite. Winner gets the King of Pop for Regionals." Santana states.
"What, us against... the two of you? You really think you're that bad? Is that what they teach you at that little public school of yours?" Sebastian taunts.
"It's time to see who's bad." Blaine says and snaps his fingers. The rest of the New Directions appear, wearing black leather jackets and outfits.
The New Directions and the Warblers go head to head in Michael Jackson's 'Bad.'
[Bad by New Directions and the Warblers]
Everything's fine and dandy until Sebastian pulls out a cup full of slushee. Blaine sees the slushee is directed at at Kurt and jumps into action, falling to the ground in pain.
"Blaine! Oh my God!" Angie says as she drops to her knees, checking on Blaine. He's covered his eyes, groaning in pain.
Kurt is rubbing his back as the Warblers leave. Kurt looks to Angie, and Angie looks back at one of her best friends.
The New Directions just look on in shock and in horror.
Is Blaine going to be alright?

The next day, Angie jumps up from her seat when Kurt walks in the choir room. "Hey Kurt." She says and hugs him.
Kurt hugs her back.
"How is he? Is he okay?" Rachel asks.
"Uh, it's his right eye. Uh, the doctor says that his cornea is deeply scratched and he has to have surgery." Kurt says. Finn and Angie sit next to Kurt.
"In all my years as a teacher and a student, I have never known a slushee to do that kind of damage." Will says.
"That's 'cause it wasn't a normal slushee, Mr. Shue." Angie says.
Finn nods. "There was... stuff in it, rocks or something. He wanted to do that damage."
"Well, unless you have proof that he tampered with the slushee, the police aren't interested in getting involved." Will tells them.
"Sebastian is evil. He needs to be expelled." Kurt says. Angie silently agrees.
"Look, Figgins and I spoke to Dalton's headmaster. They're opening up an investigation. So, guys, I'm telling you, please let the system handle this one." Will pleads.
Artie shakes his head. "No. Dalton's old-school, Mr. Shue – they're not gonna turn their backs on one of their own – we need payback."
"An eye for an eye." Mike comments.
"No. I have a zero-tolerance policy for violence, of any kind. That's not how we do things." Will says.
"No, we sing, and that's all we ever do." Artie says offhandedly.
"Do you want to get disqualified from Regionals?" Will asks.
"I don't give a damn about Regionals. What do you expect from us? We're people. I know the rest of the world may not see us like that, but when they tease us and throw stuff at us and toss us in Dumpsters and tell us that we're nothing but losers with stupid dreams, it freaking hurts. And we're supposed to turn the other cheek and be the bigger man by telling ourselves that those dreams and how hard we work make us better than them, but it gets pretty damn hard to feel that way when they always get to win." Artie rants.
"I get how upsetting this is for you." Will tries.
"No, you don't, and don't give me any of that "it gets better" crap because I'm not interested in it getting any better. I want it to be better, like, right now. I want to hurt them the way they hurt us. No, worse. I want them to feel my pain because frankly that's all I have left to give." Artie vents.
Angie is taken aback by her brother's abrasive nature.
"Artie, take a break. We'll be here when you get back. Artie? Artie." Will says.
"I think I better roll away." Artie says and wheels out of the choir room.

Quinn performs MJ's 'Never Can Say Goodbye' in the choir room.
[Never Can Say Goodbye by Quinn]
Angie notices that she's singing the song about the three guys she's previously dated: Finn, Puck and Sam. What's even more ironic is that they're all sitting in the same vicinity.
When she finishes, everyone claps.
"Wow, Quinn, that was incredible." Finn comments.
"Even more incredible is her big news. Tell them." Will encourages.
Quinn smiles. "I got into Yale."
Everyone cheers for Quinn.
"It's just – it-it's amazing. After everything you've been through, you really deserve this, Quinn." Will says.
"We are so proud of you, Quinn." Mercedes says.
"I want to thank you guys... because without each and every one of you, this would have never happened. You supported me and loved me through all the drama, and that's why I'm standing here. I wasted so much time hating myself for the stupid mistakes that I made, but the truth is, is that without all of those, I never would have dreamed this to be my future. I was the only one standing in the way of myself. You can't change your past... but you can let go and start your future." Quinn says.
Angie jumps out of her seat and nearly takes Quinn down to the floor in a massive hug. "I'm so proud of you Quinn. You're like a sister to me and I love you so much."
Quinn smiles as she hugs Angie back.
"I love you too, Angie."
Everyone joins in on the hug.

Angie smiles sadly when she sees Kurt looking sad at his locker. "Hey. How you doing?" She asks.
Kurt sighs. "My boyfriend's getting surgery done because of a slushee. How do you think I'm feeling?" He says.
"Look Kurt, you don't have to keep your feelings bottled up. We're all here for you if you ever need to talk." Angie says. Kurt sighs and nods.
"Mike, Brittany and I are dancing to an MJ number in the auditorium for glee club today, and you should come. I think the song really fits well with what's going on." Angie states.
"I don't know." Kurt hesitates.
"Please?" Angie asks.
Kurt gives in. "Alright."
Angie smiles gently and hugs him.

In the auditorium, Angie and Brittany are wearing black and gold contemporary outfits, and Mike is wearing a black contemporary outfit.
Music starts to play, and it's Michael Jackson's 'You Are Not Alone.'
[You Are Not Alone by Michael Jackson]
As the three dance onstage, Santana, Tina and Finn look proud of their significant others.
Kurt has happy tears in his eyes.
When the song ends, everyone's clapping and cheering for three of their best dancers.
"Guys that was amazing. Um... what-what brought this on?" Will asks.
Angie smiles. "Well we knew how sad Kurt's been feeling with Blaine needing surgery, so we thought we'd dance for the both of them to let them know they're never alone." She answers.
Kurt smiled through his tears.
"Thank you."

"Kurt? Your dad wants to talk to you." Will says in Spanish class the next day.
Kurt steps out into the hallway. "What's wrong?"
"The mail came." Burt says, holding a letter in his hands from NYADA.
"NYADA." Kurt says.
"Dude, come on. This is like the fifth room we've been to. What's wrong with the library or the lunchroom?" Burt asks.
"None of those felt right. This is it, Dad. This is one of those crossroad moments in life. I mean, whatever's in this envelope is going to determine whether I go right or left." Kurt says anxiously.
"I'm here, no matter what it says." Burt tells his son.
Kurt opens the letter. "'Dear Mr. Hummel...'" he trails off.
"What? What?" Burt asks.
"I'm a finalist." Kurt says happily.
Burt brings him in for a giant hug. "Oh, Dad, Dad, your heart." Kurt warns.
"Oh, screw my heart! You did it! You did it, Kurt! Oh, man, oh! Who's gonna tell Blaine? You got to let me do it." Burt says, proud tears falling from his eyes.
"Dad, are you crying?" Kurt asks.
"You beat them all. They threw everything at you. They tried to beat you down. But you know what? You're unstoppable, Kurt. I am so proud to be your dad. They can never take this away from you. Right now, in this moment, on this day, you won." Burt says proudly.

Angie and Finn knock on Blaine's bedroom door.
"Hey." Angie says as they stand in the doorway. Kurt's visiting Blaine, who's wearing an eyepatch over his right eye.
Blaine smiles. "Hey, guys."
"We brought you, um, chicken noodle soup. I know it's not used to typically help eye injuries, but we figured it couldn't hurt." Angie states.
"And I brought you a couple of eye-patch-featuring flicks from my collection. I got, uh, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Valkyrie, and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow." Finn says.
Blaine feels touched. "Aw, thank you guys. It's so amazing; It really means a lot to me that you'd come by to check up on me."
Angie smiles. "Well we wanted to. Blaine, you're a part of our New Directions family now. We love you."
Blaine feels even more touched. "I love you guys too." He says as he holds Kurt's hand.
"So, Blaine, uh, when's the surgery?" Finn asks.
"This week. Honestly, I'm terrified." Blaine answers.
"Don't sweat it, dude. You'll heal up good as new." Finn states.
"Yeah, and there are tons of legendary performers who've only had one eye: Sammy Davis, Jr., Columbo." Angie lists.
Finn nods. "And Stevie Wonder, he did pretty good with no eyes at all."
"You guys, I'm really upset that I'm missing Michael Week. It just totally sucks." Blaine pouts.
"Well, that's why we figured we'd bring a little bit of Michael to you." Kurt smiles.
Angie nods. "Yup."
"Okay." Kurt says.
Finn, Angie and Kurt sing Michael Jackson's 'Ben' to Blaine.
[Ben by Fangela and Kurt]
Blaine looks touched and Kurt smiles as he holds his hand.

Santana arrives to Dalton Academy, seeing Sebastian and the Warblers.
"Hey, Andrew McCarthy. Don't know if you heard, but Blaine may lose an eye. The same Blaine who was just besties with most of you not four months ago." She says.
Trent's eyes widen. "Wait, are you serious? Is he gonna be okay?"
"Well, sure, if he doesn't care about seeing in three dimensions." Santana comments.
"Trent, I got this. Bummer about Blaine, he was pretty. He shouldn't have gotten in the way, though. That slushee was meant for Kurt." Sebastian admits.
"You may look like the villain out of a cheesy '80s high school movie, but you should know that I am fully prepared to go all Danny LaRusso on your ass. Admit you put something in that slushee. What was it, huh? Glass? Asphalt?" Santana asks.
"Red dye number six." Sebastian remarks n
"You're a liar." Santana challenges.
"She questioned my honor. I demand satisfaction in Warbler tradition." Sebastian demands.
"You want to have a duel? Cello guys, can you hang back for a second? I'm gonna need you for this one." Santana tells the two cellists.
"Everyone else clear out. I don't want you to see me make a girl cry." Sebastian says. The Warblers clear out, leaving Sebastian alone with Santana Lopez, the baddest bitch out of Lima Heights.
Sebastian and Santana go head to head in an only cello version of Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal.'
[Smooth Criminal by Sebtana]
"I was better." Santana claims.
Sebastian rolls his eyes. "You weren't even close."
"I was better. Now tell me the truth. What did you put in that slushee?" Santana asks.
"Rock salt... but it's okay." Sebastian says
Santana looks confused. "Why is it okay? I just told you that Blaine had to have surgery."
"It's okay because I didn't put anything in this one." Sebastian says.
Sebastian slushees Santana.
/ / /
Santana gathers all the New Directions in the choir room.
"Before Mr. Shue gets here, come on. Brittany, lock the door." Santana tells her girlfriend.
"I don't know how to do that." Brittany says.
"Um, what's going on?" Angie asks.
Santana smirks. "We've got the Warblers right where we want them. And because he's the smoothest criminal I know, Artie was able to find a spy store that sells top-secret surveillance equipment."
"Not top-secret. I just got a tape recorder from OfficeMax." Artie reveals.
"Okay, okay, whatever. In any case, I taped it to my underboob when we went to Dalton, and I got Sebastian on tape admitting that there was rock-salt in that slushee that blinded Blaine. Now, all we have to do is send this tape to the po-po, and that little bitchlet is headed to juvie." Santana says and plays back the tape.
"Admit it. Tell me the truth. What did you put in that slushee?" Santana's voice asks.
"Rock salt." Comes Sebastian's voice from the tape recorder.
Kurt shakes his head. "No. No, we're not doing that."
"Why? Kurt, this isn't violent. This is clever. I taped it to my underboob." Santana reiterates.
"So he gets kicked out of school. The Warblers still do Michael, and they still beat us." Kurt configures.
"Look, I want to see Sebastian's head turning on a spit, but I've realized that you can't go looking for payback every time the world wrongs you. If Michael went after all the haters, he would have never had any time to do all that amazing music." Kurt continues.
"So, we're not gonna punish the Warblers. We're gonna teach them a lesson, and I think I know how. I've reserved the auditorium, so if you all just follow me." Kurt finishes.
"Oh, wait. If Kurt would have taped this to his junk, I would have never heard the end of it. We would have had a whole week of songs about it." Santana says as everyone but Angie and Finn walk to the auditorium.
"Angie, can I borrow you for a second?" Finn asks.
Angie nods. "Yeah. So, are we gonna practice or something? Look, I know that you're waiting for an answer, and-and trust me, you deserve it..."
Finn interrupts. "No, no, I get it. It's a big decision. It's just, the way I asked you, I kind of left out the most important part."
"What's the most important part?" Angie asks.
Finn smiles. "Just listen, okay? I always feel like you hear me better when I'm not talking."
Finn and Angie perform Michael's 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You.'
[I Just Can't Stop Loving You by Fangela]
When they finish, Finn looks hopeful.
"Felt an awful lot like a..."
Angie cuts him off. "You're the love of my life. And... at least I'll have what matters if we're together."
Finn may faint then and there. "Is that a...?"
Angie nods. "Yes."
"Yes?" Finn asks.
Angie smiles. "Yes, I will marry you."
Finn laughs and digs into his back pocket. "Got to get the ring here." He says. Finn slips it onto her finger.
Angie smiles as Finn brings her in for a very romantic kiss.
They're engaged!
/ / /
The Warblers gather in the New Directions's auditorium.
"Nice of you to show." Angie says coldly. The only one she isn't cold towards is Trent, who had dropped by yesterday to see Blaine. The poor boy was a blubbering mess, apologizing about the slushee and Sebastian's behavior. Luckily, Blaine is a very forgiving person.
"Is whatever this is gonna take long? I can't stand the stench of public schools." Sebastian retorts.
"It won't take long, and all you have to do is sit and listen." Quinn states.
"We're not doing Michael for Regionals." Artie says.
"I didn't think you'd surrender that easily." Sebastian smirks.
"We're tired of the fighting and the backstabbing. We're show choirs. We're supposed to be supportive of each other." Kurt comments.
"This is what we call taking the high road, which I was shocked to find out has nothing to do with marijuana." Puck adds.
"Just because you're doing Michael doesn't mean you understand Michael." Angie says.
"And you do?" Sebastian challenges.
"Yes. And we're about to show you." Artie says.
The New Directions perform Michael Jackson's 'Black or White.'
[Black or White by New Directions]
By the end, most of the Warblers are dancing onstage.
Sebastian claps slowly. "Very moving."
"Come on, Sebastian. Give it up." Trent says.
"That is the kind of attitude that lost us Regionals last year." Sebastian comments.
"What lost you Regionals last year was our original songs, dickhead." Angie sneers.
"I could call the cops or your headmaster and get you kicked out of school or even arrested for assaulting Blaine with that slushee." Santana interjects.
"All of this would be just awfully terrifying if you had any proof whatsoever." Sebastian challenges.
"You mean like you on tape admitting to it?" Santana asks, holding up the tape.
"But you know what? It just wouldn't be as much fun winning Regionals if you weren't there to suffer through all the agony of defeat." Kurt says.
"At least now, all your teammates get to know exactly what kind of guy you are." Angie says.
"Now get the hell out of our auditorium." Artie commands.
Sebastian and the Warblers leave. New Directions cheer together as they watch their retreating figures.
Angie smiles and kisses Finn. Finn kisses back and smiles as well.
This was a very good week for them.
