You sat in the dining hall with the girls sitting around you, it had been awhile since you had seen them and it made you smile knowing they hadn't forgotten  you. . .  Well they did believe you were dead, but that's not really something you can blame them for.

Y/n: anyway I would have come to you girls earlier but I had to train my magic, hide out with my homies because we're union academy's most wanted, do a whole lot of anonymous unlicensed hero shit, become an absolute meance to devil society. . .  You know, just pissing off every one with the boys. HA!

You reached over taking a sip of the glass of wine.

Y/n: Ok I fucking sware I've had this  before. . . .

Rarity: Well your alive darling and that's what matters.

Y/n: Amen,  I'm happy to be here.  Now enough about myself,  what happened to you guys since my leave of absence?

You stretch as you take another mouthful of the fine wine that was provided for you.

Twilight: Well, shortly after your dissapearance we got to work constructing  our own school  where we teach friendship as a course, it's been finished for a few weeks now.

You smile.

Y/n:  that's great, though I assume Union didn't like that much? 

Rainbow: yeah, they're pretty much looking for any reason to get it shut down so our students will flock back to'em. . . 

Y/n: yeah, figures. 

You lean back in the chair and pour yourself more wine.

Rarity: yes darling, it's quite aggravating. Now they're saying because school doesn't meet the standard for a hero or a hunter school, and that represents a problem for us because this can get us shut down for. . .surprisingly more than one reason. . . 

Y/n: and those reasons are?

Twilight: They can get us on teaching without a proper teaching licenses, because we don't have any proper combat teachers for the course. Of course we haven't even started offering this class yet because it's been hard to find anyone with the proper licenses who wants to teach our students. . . they're abusing legal loop holes to try to get us from that angle. Then they're disputing the legitimacy of our classes because we decided to include friendship as a course,  thier argument is that it's not something that needs to be taught that it's "not essential to a person's skill set, and therefore the inclusion there of shows our lack of professionalism and ability to differentiate between useful knowledge and the lack there of . . ."

Y/n: that's a load of shit. . .  Wish I could help you on that  front, but not much I could do all things considered. At least not nothing that would be considered legal. . .

You drink of of your wine with a hum.

Daybreaker(inside your head): The wine is half decent, not the best I've ever tasted but still can't  Complain.

Nightmare Moon(inside your head): Yes,  indeed though to be fair I don't think I've had too much wine since my millennium long banishment to the moon. So truthfully I'm in no position to- I just remembered where Luna stored a bunch of wine In the walls of our old castle years ago, great now I wanna try that. . . .

Daybreaker(inside Your Head): oooooh now there's something that be an adventure, wouldn't you Agree Y/n?

Y/n(Thoughts): I'll say, it's definitely peaked my interest and I wouldn't mind having a look.

Celestia: well thank you for your concern.

Y/n: Ain't no problem. . . You know, I believe I would love to see your school you've built.

Dash: hell yeah, we would love that!

Pinkie: we would love, love, love, the chance to have you there.

Rarity: but wouldn't it cause, "complications" if word got to union that you were alive and that we were harboring you?

Fluttershy: y-yeah,  the fallout of that would be bad news.

Y/n: Fuck em, I'll plunge their wanna be warriors into the shadowy abyss and set thier school  fuxking ablaze. If thier not smart to leave me and by extension you Gals alone. I WILL NOT hesitate to start stacking bodies by the hundreds . . . 

AJ: Sugarcube, isn't that a bit. . . Extreme.

Y/n: The more they fuck around the more they can find out thier bullshit will be met with extreme retribution, thier just lucky destroying that fucking academy and getting vengeance for what people did and others let happen to me ain't at the top of my list of priorities.

Dash: would honestly love to watch that happen.

She let out a chuckle.

Rarity: Rainbow Dash, you can't be serious.

She chuckled as she glanced over at rarity and didn't say anything.

Celestia, cadence, and Luna had been watching you tentatively since you sat down and started talking. . . They knew and you could tell, yet they choose not to say anything.

Y/n: well as much as I would like to Continue, I have so private matters to discuss with Celestia, Luna, and Cadence if you all will let me.

Pinkie: Okie Doki

Dash: sure, man.

Rarity: Of course Darling.

AJ: that's quite Alright, sugarcube. Glad your back.

Twilight: Wait is this a princess matter?

Y/n: more of something at a personal capacity Twilight, something I want to stay private on for now.

As the other girls get up to leave, twilight is the last as you make sure to give them all hugs before the doors shut behind them. Using a spell you sound proof and seal the room shut, then you turned to the three princesses.

Cadence: it's nice to See you again Y/n, truly.

Luna: Agreed, we thought you had lost your life. . . We all did. But it's gald to see you standing strong.

Celestial: belive me when I say that I will do everything within my power to help you, whatever you need I will try to the best of my ability to help you achieve it. Now what is it would you like to discuss?

Y/n: you know, your all pretty good at keeping straight faces. But, you and I both know what it is. . . 

Cadence:  . . .

Luna:  . . . 

Celestia: . . .  How long have you had them for?

You take a deep breath and adopted a serious tone.

Y/n: since shortly after the.  . . incident. . . They're the only reason I was able to survive.

Celestia and Luna look to eachother ad you bring your hands up to look at the marks you have had ever since.

Luna: how do you feel, can you feel them or. . . Hear them in any sense?

Y/n: they voice themselves in my inside my head, and thier presence inside my spirit is a constant. . .

They are quite for a moment as they appear to think.

Cadence: Y/n. . . Do you need help, you can tell us. . .

Y/n: I'm fine truly, they never made me do anything I didn't want or try to forcibly take control  at any capacity. . .

Celestia: Are you sure, controlling them isn't something that's easy.

Y/n: I don't control them, we coexist peacefully. . . They're my. . . 

You think for a moment.

Y/n: They are my friends.

Daybreaker(Inside your Head): . . . Thank you.

Nightmare moon(inside your head): Thank you.

Celestia:. . .

They look between eachother for a moment, celestia looks at you.

Celestia: can you bring one of them forward.

Y/n(thoughts): come on, don't be shy. . . 

You say nothing as you take a deep breath, leaning your head back as a mass of pitch black darkness appears and a flame flickers to life. Both grow taking shape on each side of you, Nightmare moon and daybraker.

Nightmare moon and Daybreaker stand there on each side of you, looking over to the princesses all are silent as Celestia takes a deep breath before she ahifts from a motherly tone to an authoritative one.

Celestia: the damage you have done in the past is great, the suffering you both have caused on both a public and personal level have not been forgotten. . . In truth I don't think can ever truly be. . . 

She glances over to her sister before laying her eyes back upon the three of you. 

Celestia: however. . . We do believe in second chances, Y/n. . . Would you personally vouch for the both of them.

Y/n: definitely, they saved my life and helped me beyond what I could have ever hoped for. Given me gifts I do cherish greatly. . . 

You look between nightmare moon and daybreaker. 

Y/n: I owe them my life, and would happily and willingly stake it for thier sake. Just as I would the three of you, the girls, and all of my friends. 

Celestia: looks between cadence and Luna. Before coming to a silent agreement.

Celestia: there you have it, that's all I needed to hear. . . You both Have One chance, I won't involve the elements, and this information is to be dealt with at Y/n's discretion. . . For us however what we have heard, seen, and decided won't leave this room. . . Don't make me regret this, your dismissed.

Nightmare moon and Daybreaker say nothing and disperse in darkness and flame respectively.

Celestia: we're done Y/n, your free to go. . . 

You take a deep breath and turn to leave, the spell losing its effect on the room, before you can open the door celestia speak one last time.

Celestia: Y/n. . . Be careful. . . 

You nod as you open the door and leave.

Luna: sister?

Celestia: what is it Luna?

Luna: I can't help but wonder, what that the right decision?

Celestia: . . . Y/n is strong, he's kind, and he's smart. . . He wouldn't stick his neck out for just anyone. . . 

Cadence: he genuinely cares about them, i can still feel it lingering in the air.

Celestia: only time will tell if this decision will come back to bite us. . . Until then, we're gonna have to trust him and let him have space. . .after all he's been through and his actions today, he deserves that much. . . 

Luna: Agreed.

Cadence: Agreed.
