An entire army of devils decend upon canterlot, crashing against the magical barrier projected around the city built in the mountain, The castle shakes in response to this violent impact to the magic shield.

Twilight: we don't have much time, that barrier is about to collapse. 

Celestia: I'm aware.  . .

Rainbow: Well what are we gonna do, the royal gaurd ain't gonna hold them back thier practically useless. The hunters and heroes aren't coming to help us and we can't fight worth a shit.

Cadence: we will have to fight, and I fear what we have might not be enough.

At that moment the castle shakes agian. 

Luna: you may be- 

At that moment luna and celestia both felt a disturbingly familiar presence, outside the moon slowly moves into place blocking the sun, the sky shifts to a bloody crimson red  as clouds  form and blackened to form what appeared to be a massive menacing eye looking down upon Canterlot. 

They both hurriedly make thier way to a balcony as they look to the sky, the elements follow behind them as they also to the spectical.

???: devils make me sick. . .

Footsteps are heard as they all turn to see a humanoid figure shrouded in a black shadowy aura with glowing white eyes speakingin a distorted and echo voice. 

???: thier incompetence is. . . Amusing. . .

The creature in the blink of an eye stood on the railing.

???:  but thier overconfidence shall be thier undoing. . .

It raises its hand and a massive magic circle appears in the sky.

???: suffer me now. . . 

At that moment the symbols within the circle began spinning in the counter and clockwise position as it began darkening into a pitch black void in the sky.

???: let the foolish despair. . .  For a brief moment let the light dissapear. . . 

At that moment the sun appeared to die as light itself slowly faded from the world.

???: then let it return as blinding spears. . .

You snap your fingers as the world was suddenly flooded with light once again as screams in terror and pain are heard across the skies as devils are impaled and burned alive by what appeared to be streaks of sunlight, much to the shock and awe of the princesses and the elements.

???:  Eclipse Rain. . .

After a few brief moments all turns to silence as the moon moves across the sky and out of view, the vast shade of blue returning to the heavenly skies.

???: I doubt any survived,  but anyway this show of force will not go unnoticed  by anyone.

The creature looks over his shoulder and to the princesses and the elements, it hadn't set in for everyone present. . . But luna and Celestia wept as they looked upon this creature.

Luna/Celestia: Your Alive. . .

Twilight: what, what do you mean who is he?

???:  Twilight, it's only been a year. . . Don't you remember my name, do anyone of you remember my name. . .

Raity: wait. . .it can't-

Applejack: I'll be. . . 

Fluttershy: oh my. . . 

The realization slowly cascades across them.

Pinkie and dash were silent.

Twilight: . . . Y/n . . ?

The dark shadow magic dissapeared from his being slowly, you revealed yourself.

Y/n: I'm glad you remember, I didn't think you would. . .

You step of the ledge and back onto the balcony as tears started coming forth from their eyes, about to speak you were suddenly wrapped in a group hug with the 6 of them. As Cadence, luna and, celestia stood there looking on at the moment 

Cadence: so this is Y/n. . .he's alive, but. .

Celestia: that's where they went. . . Their inside of him, I can feel it. . . 

Luna: what do we do about this?

Celestia: I don't know. . . 

They watch as you slowly smile and tried to reach your arms around them in an effort to return the hugs.

Celestia: but it can wait. 

Luna: are you sure that's wise sister?

Celestia: just. . . Let it be for now.

Luna turns and head back inside the castle as it had started to rain, Cadence followed suit but celestia stayed longer and smiled for them as she went inside without a word.
