I'll show you gay!

Chapter Seven

As I walked down the crowded parking lot people seemed to migrate away from me. That's how it use to be but, now it was for a different reason.

"Ryder?" A timid voice called out from behind me.

I stopped and turned.

It was a boy, a very cute boy.

"Yes?" I answered hiding my curiosity.

"I-I was, I was wondering if you wanted to sit with me at lunch?" He squeaked

I smiled but, it wasn't a friendly smile.

"Sit with you?"

"Yeah..." he looked scared and a little embarrassed.

"What's your name kid?"

"Ryan" He whispered

I fixed my glare on all the students trying to listen to our conversation.

"Why?"

He looked confused

"What?"

"Why are you asking me to sit with you?"

Ryan focused his gaze on the ground while playing with the hem of his shirt.

"I was hoping we could be friends, I guess." He answered quietly.

I stared at the small boy in front of me. Ryan had a sea of small freckles across his face and rosy cheeks. Wisps of his dirty blonde hair blew gently from the breeze.

"I'm gay." He spoke again.

"That was blunt"

I laughed as his cheeks grew brighter.

"what are you trying to say, kid?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

I pulled out a cigarette and lit it up.

"I'm not saying anything! I swear!"

I puffed on my smoke keeping my eyes on Ryan.

"you sit at my table during lunch and maybe I'll even drive you home today"

I stomped out the rest of my burning cigarette and walked toward the entrance of the school.

--

I looked around the crowded cafeteria trying to find the familiar mop of dirty blonde hair.

With Ryan no where to be found I decided to search the hallways.

I was walking toward my locker when I heard his voice.

"What did you say to him?"

"N-nothing!"

"Don't lie you stupid homo!" he yelled "What did you say to Ryder?"

I could see Ryan's scared little face, he reminded me of Kriss.

Axel had his hand wrapped around Ryan's shirt. His grip was so tight his knuckles were white.

The all-too-familiar anger began to bubble inside of me. The type of rage that only Axel brought out.

I clapped my hand on Axel's back pulling his attention from the small boy in front of him.

"I thought you knew better" I whispered in his ear before biting his earlobe.

He has really cute ears.

"Ryder!" Ryan said with a big smile

"Hey Ryan"

I turned my attention back to Axel.

"I think we need to have a talk"

His eyes widened a bit.

"I hope you don't mind if I steal Axel from you"

Ryan shook his head and quickly escaped down the hall.

"Axel are you stupid or do you just like pissing me off?"

He opened his mouth but, quickly closed it when he saw my face.

"Didn't you learn? Did you forget about what happened to Kriss?" I said through clenched teeth.

Shame flashed through his green eyes.

"I-'

"You what?" I cut him off "You didn't mean it? You said the same thing about Kriss!"

"I just..." Axel's voice trailed off.

"It's okay Axel, I know"

His head snapped up and his eyes met mine.

"You do?"

"Yeah, people like you never change! They just get better at hiding the monsters they truly are"

"You don't know anything!" he yelled at me

"I know more than you think"

I took a step towards him and pinned him to the lockers.

"You're a liar" he whispered

I could hear the fear in his trembling voice.

"I know everything" I whispered in his ear.

I could hear Axel take a deep breath.

"What? Am I making you nervous?"

"No..." he said quietly.

I smiled before placing a small kiss on the nape of his neck

"What the fuck dude!"

"Don't worry Axel, I won't tell anyone you like it"

My hand gently traced down his arm before resting on his hip.

"And, if you keep harassing Ryan" I pulled his body against mine "I'll fucking kill you"

I pushed him back into the lockers and walked away.
