Anyways this is gonna be a multiple chapter fic where every is Alex reuniting with his loved ones after the end of the musical.

Alex blinked. His eyesight blurry as he tried to remember. The last thing he remembered was dueling Burr...and then Angelica and Eliza were by his side crying and....

Oh god no

Burr won. Of course Burr won.

How could he possibly think he could win.

Heh, he should have just taken Burrs advice all those years ago.

Talk less, smile more.

The words echoed softly in Alexanders head.

Suddenly he hears someone calling his name. At first it sounds far away, distant. And yet, so very close to his ears.

He hears the voice again, but this time it registers in his mind. He knows that voice.

He stands up off the ground, since when was he lying on the ground?

He looked around until he sees the figure.

Oh...my....fucking....god!

It was non other then John Laurens. The man who was once Alexanders best friend...and slightly more then that at one point (Which is actually true, in real life Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens did hook up I'm pretty sure, could be wrong tho so don't come after me if I'm wrong xD)

"Laurens..?"

John smiled at his friend.

"Hey Alexander. It's been quite a while hasn't it?."

Hamilton stares at him in complete an utter shock.

"But...but you're..." Alexander tries to speak but for once, he can't find the words. For once his silver tongue has failed him.

But never the less, John seems to get the message, "I know Alex. I'm so sorr-...oof."

John gets cut off by the sudden hug Alex has trapped him in.

Alex feels tears sting the corner of his eyes. "I missed you...so much."

John smiled into his shoulder, "I missed you as well Alexander."

Alex let a single tear roll down his cheek as he quietly whispered against Johns shoulder...

"Raise a glass to freedom..."
