Shadow's POV
We had finally arrived, I remembered seeing the cabin when I was first transported here. I tried opening the door but it wouldn't budge I was going to just kick it down until Y/N stopped me "Allow me" she said as she pulled a hair pin from her H/L H/C hair as she used it to unlock the door "H-How did you?" I stammered a bit with my words causing my muzzle to heat up from embarrassment "You learn a thing or two from watching TV." She responded, as she opened the door I got a look inside and it wasn't to bad.

I soon noticed Y/N looking around in amazement "Isn't it beautiful?" She asked as I looked up at her and nodded.

I took a look around the kitchen, it was a nice big open space when I soon heard foot steps walking up the stairs I looked over to see Y/N walking to the upstairs bedrooms but as I looked closer her eyes seemed to sparkle 'She's beautiful' I thought but I immediately shook my head trying to brush off the thought and sighed 'Maria, what's happening to me?' I thought but that's when I heard a faint voice "Shadow" it almost sounded like "Maria" I said out loud as I turned around there she was "M-Maria?" I said as I felt tears streaming down my cheeks.

The moment I saw her I ran to her and cried into her chest I felt her gently stroke my quills as I tried to calm down "Don't worry Shadow I've always been here with you and I promise to continue to stay by you." She explained I soon began to calm down and looked Maria in the eyes "Maria, how does Y/N know so much? She knows about Sonic and Eggman somehow." I said as Maria looked at me with her gentle smile the one I've missed for 50 years "Shadow, the only reason that she knows about your friends is because you aren't in a normal place. You're in another dimension Shadow that's how Y/N knows so much." Maria explained I was taken aback by this because I just thought that I was another side of the Earth but I guess not I soon heard footsteps coming down the stairs as I turned around to see Y/N coming back into the living room but before I could ask Maria about the sudden feelings I've been enduring she had disappeared until I remembered what she said 'I've always been here with you'.

"Hey, Shads you okay?" Y/N asked as I turned around and nodded. She smiled a bit causing my heart to start beating faster and faster 'What the hell is going on?' I tried not to make it known of what was happening. I soon heard a faint hum coming from Y/N as I noticed her looking out the window it was getting a bit dark but I didn't see why we couldn't go outside for a few so without fucking thinking I... I decided to hold her hand and to take her to a place that I found when I first arrived here but I couldn't help but feel as if the atmosphere was changing, we soon arrived at a large pond I think the reason that I enjoyed being here was because it was peaceful and quiet. I sat down in the grass soon laying down afterwards I looked over to see Y/N standing against a tree as I sighed "Care to join me over here?" I asked as she looked at me and nodded I held out my hand and guided her to sit down as I soon had an idea come to mind, I lent her my hand but as she took I pulled her down onto the ground with me.

As she fell I couldn't help but laugh at her reaction "H-Hey it's not funny!" She yelled but I just couldn't stop laughing. 'Whoa I've never laughed that hard before' I thought but as I calmed down I turned over to face Y/N as I soon noticed that she had done the same causing our noses to touch.

"Sorry Shadow" She said as she quickly sat up and sighed "Is everything okay?" I asked "Yeah, well sort of I have to go to school tomorrow and my dad normally picks me up." She explained as I nodded and that's when I realized 'My bike' I thought "What if I picked you up from school?" I asked as she looked at me wide eyed "You, pick me up from school? You'll be seen by several people!" She exclaimed "Well the only way that they'll see me is if I go the way I am." I said as she looked at me a bit confused "I'm sure there are some clothes in that cabin I can wear." I said as she smiled and nodded "Alright than Shadow you can pick me up from school." She said as I smiled a bit until I heard a sudden gasp from Y/N causing me to flinch "What's wrong?" I asked as she pointed towards the water "It's a firefly it's been so long since I've seen one."

She said but as I looked at her, her eyes seemed to sparkle with amazement and joy... She was beautiful.

I soon felt something tickle my nose as I looked down I noticed a firefly sitting on my nose, I couldn't help but overhear Y/N giggling as I stared at the insect 'I've never seen one of these before' I thought but it really was a beautiful creature but sadly the insect had flown away 'Maybe this place isn't so bad.' I thought and that's when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye I turned my head and saw a flower a rose to be more precise I stood up and snuck away without Y/N noticing and carefully picked the rose. I sighed and looked back at Y/N she still had her back turned which was a good thing for me I carefully snuck back towards Y/N and gently tapped her shoulder.

Y/N's POV
You were in amazement, Shadow had brought you to such a beautiful place but you soon felt a slight tap on your shoulder as you turned around you noticed that Shadow was standing behind you but he one of his hands behind his back "Shadow, are you okay?" You asked as he nodded in response "I just..Here" he said as he looked away from you but you couldn't help but notice that he was holding a beautiful red rose you smiled and gladly accepted the gorgeous flower "Shadow, it's beautiful." You said causing the two of you to blush as Shadow sat next to you once again. You soon turned to look at Shadow as a question had popped into your mind "Hey Shadow" you said giving the hedgehog your full attention "Yes Y/N?" "When your friends get here...Promise me that you won't forget about me." You said but just the thought of Shadow leaving you made you wanna cry, you couldn't help but let a few tears slip from your E/C eyes. You soon felt Shadow pull you into his warm embrace as he gently rubbed your back in a calming manner "I might be leaving but that doesn't mean that I'm going to leave you here. I made you a promise to take you with me and I plan to keep it." He explained as you felt him plant a kiss on your head "I'm not going to lose you too." He whispered you soon began to feel your eye lids getting heavy as you let out a soft yawn causing the hedgehog to chuckle.

"Looks like someone's tired." "Am not just-" You were cut off by another yawn as you felt Shadow gently pick you up
you couldn't control it at this point. You slowly began to drift to sleep as you heard the soft voice of your savior "Good night Y/N"

"I lo-"

Man you guys really can't stay awake just to hear Shadow out now can you.

Shadow: Oh please your the one writing the damn thing

So

Shadow: So that just proves that you were lazy to write this chapter

That is not true I've had a lot to do

Shadow: Oh really like what?

Like summer school you sorry son of a-

Y/N: Okay that's enough you two anyways don't forget to-
