-Xia P.O.V-

   I groggily got up, yawning and stretching my wings, accidentally bumping a lamp in my room on the Nemesis. I walked into the kitchen to grab a juice box, and was met with Queenie and October sitting in living room watching a Halloween movie.

   "Morning sleepy head!" October chuckled, waving me over.

   "What day is it?" I asked, still pretty out of it. I plopped myself down on the beanbag next to October. 

   "A few days before Halloween," Queenie replied. "You were out for almost a month."

   "What?!" I coughed, spitting out some juice. 

   "Yeah... you were really roughed up, more than usual," October said, crossing her arms slightly. 

   She explained to me that Knockout checked up on me after I didn't wake up, and how the over extended nap time was just my body fighting off all  the komodo dragon venom, which ended up being a few pounds more than expected.

   "Also! The school is hosting a Halloween dance," Queenie added, making an attempt to change the somewhat down mood to a more... upbeat one. 

   "That's nice Queenie, but I was off in dream land for a whole month!" I winced slightly, apparently still sore from the wrestling match. I inhaled and slowly exhaled. "Aside from all the homework I'm sure I missed, what are you guys going as for Halloween?"

    "I'm going as Jack Skellington, and Queenie is going as Red Riding Hood, but instead of her red cloak, it's the wolf's pelt," October replied. "I'm assuming you're going as yourself."

   "Yep. Halloween is the one time of year where demons can waltz around in their true forms without getting attacked," I said, trying to shove the fact that I was out for month underneath the problem rug in my brain. 

   The three of us quietly watched the rest of the movie, when we got spooked by Dreadwing, who seemed happy to see me awake. "How are you feeling, Xia?" he asked. 

   "Uh... groggy. How are the rest of the beasts?" I asked. 

   "The mammals learned to transform, October gathered most of the reptile DNA from the rescue she volunteers at, and Queenie and Bill named the mammals." he explained. 

   "Wow. I really did miss a lot," I mumbled. "Now I just have to deal with all the assignments I missed."

A/N: Hi, sorry for the short chapter, but I will be making a Halloween chapter and I just wanted to get this little thing out of the way. The next one will be like this, but we get to see how well Clicker is doing after spending a month with the 'Bots! Have a Happy and safe Halloween everybody!
