You opened your eyes and smelled the familiar scent of your apartment building. Another grand day. Ever since you lost your sister, you've been a bit depressed. She just got lost without a trace. You sit up on your bed and look at the picture frame of you and your sister, Frisk, on the desk. You frown and proceed to get out of your bed. You make yourself some breakfast and decide to watch some TV. Its probably some news about a robbery nearby, booring. But what was on surprised you.

"Local news just on! Here we have the ambassador Frisk. She saved all the monsters trapped underground and brought them to the surface. Here we're gonna interview a monster. His name is Asgore. This is the king of the monsters." The speaker passed the microphone to a big monster with a yellow beard and a long robe.

"Hello, everybody. My name is Asgore. I am the king of the monsters, however I prefer you calling me king. Anyway, Frisk here saved us underground and I wanna thank her for that. Here's Frisk." The monster then passed the microphone down to Frisk.

FRISK! That's her! She went to Mt. Ebott? No way.. You quickly jumped up and down and started crying from seeing your sister again in a week. You quickly looked for your jacket. You put on your black jacket and changed. You looked at the TV, and then glanced at the door. You started sprinting outside. You ran all the way to Mt. Ebott, which took about 5 minutes, since it was nearby. You looked up. And there she was. Your sister.

You climbed as fast as you can to reach your little sister. You spotted her and as soon as you did, she looked your direction. You started crying and embraced her into a giant hug. You barely couldn't talk from all the tears, but you did anyway.

"Sis! I haven't seen you in forever, where were you?" You hugged her really tight.

Your voice then cracked. "You're everything I have.......I missed you...."

"Me too..." Frisk let go and smiled.

You wiped your own tears away and looked behind her which were a group of monsters.

"Sis, I can explain... I was at Mt. Ebott. The reason was because the myth of monsters got to me, I had to head there. I didn't mean to fall down, I just wanted to investigate. Apparently, I slipped and fell down. Then I landed in a pile of flowers and I explored the whole underground. And I met these guys." Frisk turned around and pointed at the monsters.

"IS THIS THE HUMAN YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT, FRISK?" A tall skeleton with a red scarf said.

"Yes, Papyrus. This is my sister." Frisk responded.

His name is Papyrus? Huh.. He seems to have a pretty forward and cute personality.

"H-Hello, Papyrus." You gave a soft smile and waved.

"This next to him is his brother, Sans." Frisk pointed at a monster that was short and wore a blue sweater with black and white sport shorts.

"sup."

"Hello, Sans." You waved again as well.

Sans seems to be like a laid-back guy.

"This is Toriel. She is my- * cough * our mother now." Frisk smiled sweetly as she pointed to a goat monster.

"Mother?" You raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. She's a motherly figure and she used to have a kid. I mean, we don't have parents so it'd be nice, right?" 

You weren't sure about this. You really didn't wanna replace your mother, but at the same time you'd have one. You just decided to be cool with it since Frisk wanted it.

"Yeah, it would.. Is there a father?" You tucked your hands in your black sweater.

"Yes, there is. This is Asgore. King of the monsters. He is the father." Frisk smiled again.

"Wait? Then this must be the- Oh! Excuse me, you're the queen.. Sorry!" You bowed down.

"Please, you may just call me Toriel, my child." She smiled sweetly.

"Anyways, this is Alphys." Frisk pointed to a yellow monster that covered her face when Frisk pointed at her.

"H-Hello, H-Human..." Alphys awkwardly said.

"Hello, nice to meet you. Who's this?" You pointed at a blue fish-like creature next to Alphys.

"Oh. This is Undyne! Undyne can be pretty rough to deal with, but she's has a lovable side!" Frisk clapped her hands.

"Anyway, last but not least is Mettaton." Frisk pointed at a robot with...legs?

"Certainly not the least, darling." Mettaton posed.

"great, it's the toaster." Sans said.

"What did you just say?" Mettaton looked pretty pissed off.

"nothing." Sans scoffed.

"Anyways, we should get going. We really need a house to settle in and stuff." Frisk pointed ahead and we all bought a big enough house

The house had 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms. It was decent for a start. Asgore and Toriel slept in one room, Sans and Papyrus in another, You and Frisk in one, Alphys and Undyne together, and Mettaton had his own room. You all enjoyed the house. You were going to start putting in furniture the next day so for now you all just slept in a cushion.

FUN FACT: Sans is a lefty. In the game, his left eye glows and he uses his left hand to fight too. If you already knew that, another fun fact. I'm a lefty too. :D
