AJ's POV
After Dash dropped, my adrenaline rush crashed. The cops took custody of Flash and the paramedics started their work.
They first got Dash in an ambulance, then me. I didn't know that I was bleeding until they told me. I was sat down on a bench next to Rainbow, i was not leaving her side for a second after that. The EMT started asking me basic questions, like what's your name. After a while, she left me alone, closed a curtain, and started working on a computer.
Five minutes later, Dash starts talking in her sleep.
"Get away, Flash! Get away! AHHHHHHHH!". She jolts up and starts panicking. She spots me and calms down.
"Applejack! What happened? Did they get that rap-! Did they get Flash?" That's when it struck me: what would a perv like Sentry want?
"Rainbow, did he...?"
Gravely, she nodded. I covered my mouth in shock. I gave her a gentle hug.
"I mess everything up. Since I came to CHS, I messed up your and all the other girls' lives. I should just leave. It would make everything better. I'm just-" Keeping my promise to her uncle, I cut her off with a kiss.
At first she was startled, but kissed back. As I pulled back, her face was confused, but it looked cute.
" Dwaaaaa?" I chuckled.
"Ya know, you look darn adorable right now?" She blushed.
"That made me feel so happy that I almost forgot I was just shot."
"Are you okay?" She shook her head in agreement and nodded off to sleep.
