Reader P.O.V.

I woke up in the form of a cat. "Mrow!" I yawned. Killua twitched a little in his sleep.

"Meow!" I said, pawing at his face. He woke up. He looked around.

"Y/N?" Killua said looking confused. "Where'd she go?" He mumbled to himself. "Where'd you come from?!" He asked in shock, looking at me.

Right here. I spoke to him in his mind. Helluuuuu? Killua looked around. Oh he doesn't know about my ability. I thought.

I transformed into the form I was in yesterday. He jumped into the the corner of the wall.

I yawned again and stretched. "What?" I asked him as he jumped down.

"How did you do that?!" Killua exclaimed.

It's a special ability I have. Like talking to you like this. I gave him a smile.

"Oh..." He looked weirded out. "So, do you wanna come with me to take the hunter exam? I heard its really hard... So, I wanted to try it."

"Ok! Sounds like fun," I replied. "I can teleport there, if you want." Killua shook his head in disbelief.

"Ok, this year its in Zaban city, underneath a restaurant." I nodded and outstretched my hand. He took it. (A\N Like he took your heart.😝) I concentrated hard and closed my eyes.

I opened them again. We were in a tunnel with a lot of other people. Someone handed us ID tags. His said 99 while I was 98. After that I passed out.

*Timeskip- To When You Wake Up*
Reader's P.O.V.

Killua was sitting against the wall holding me, bridal style. I was still in the same form. I looked up at him and blushed. I got off his lap and sat next to him.

"What happened?" Killua asked, concern in his eyes. I shrugged. It doesn't matter. I spoke to him in my mind. I guess I kinda do that sometimes. Normally I change into an animal while I sleep though.

Killua nodded. Does that mean I can talk to you in my head Y/N? Can you hear me? He asked. I nodded. That's cool. Now we can have private conversations like this. I blushed at the "private" part.

"But, we should probably talk like this. Otherwise people will think we're dating if we're just staring into each others eyes." I suggested.

"Ok. Good point." Some people walked in. One was a old man with a briefcase, he was also wearing glasses. Another was a younger male with blond hair and blue eyes. The other one shocked me. He had black hair with green highlights. He looks just like my original form! Well, except he's a boy. I thought to myself.

I kept staring at that boy. "What is it?" Killua asked. I can't tell him about my original form yet. I don't know enough about him.

"N-nothing." I replied and looked away. A person walked up to us, handing us some cans. He looked like this:

"Hi! I'm Tonpa!" He said. "This is my 35 taking the exam. Do you want some soda?" I transformed into him and back so fast it looked like I disappeared.

"Tonpa the Rookie Crusher. Age 47. That soda is filled with laxatives." I said spitting out the info I just gained. "Sure, Killua would want some. I don't drink soda, so..." Tonpa's eyes widened. And he dropped the cans. Killua took the "soda" and started drinking one.

Tonpa scuttled away and went to the three people that just came in. Killua and I walked up to those 3.

Tonpa was offering them the soda when we walked up. "Those have poison in them." Killua told them. "Don't drink it." We walked away.

"Well that was straightforward." I said, draping my arms over his shoulders from behind. We laughed.

*Timeskip- After Satotz Explains And Everyone Starts Running*

Reader's P.O.V.

Killua was riding his skateboard and I was running next to him.

"Hey!" The old man yelled, even though he was right next to us. "You can't be on a skateboard! I mean, your girlfriend has to run!"

"We are NOT dating!" We said at the same time.

"Leorio, he's aloud to be on his skateboard. Satotz only said to follow him, not that we have to run." The boy in green said.

"I like this kid!" I immediately said. He smiled.

"I'm Gon! This is Kurapika," Gon pointed to blond guy, "And this is Leorio." He pointed to the old man.

"I'm Killua." Killua replied.

"And I'm Y/N! You!" I said, pointing to Leorio, "I am going to call you Old Man Oreo, or Omo for short!"

"WHAT?!" Omo said. "YOU CANT CALL ME THAT!" I shrugged.

"Too bad then," I said. Killua jumped off his skateboard and picked it up.

"I'll run with you guys now." He said.

*Timeskip- 5 Hours Later*
Reader's P.O.V.
"I can't do it!" Omo said, and he stopped running.

"Gon, leave him." Killua said.

"No! I can't just leave him!" Gon said. I went back with him to encourage Old Man Oreo to keep going. We got him to come back and run with us.

Omo took his shirt off. "I don't care how ridiculous I look! I WILL PASS THE EXAM!" He yelled. Kurapika took his tribal cloak thingie off as well.

"Hey guys?" They all looked towards me. " I can help you know."

"How?" They all said together.

"All you have to do is stand on a skateboard." I said. They nodded. I transformed into a giant wolf.

The chains on my paws connected to a giant skateboard. Sit down on it. I told them. They all sat down, except for Gon. He jumped on my back on the scruff of my neck.

"Can I sit here?" Gon asked. I turned my head and licked his face in approval. He laughed.

I bounded off to where the rest of the examines were. They looked at us with jealousy. A couple of them tried to get on the skateboard, but I growled at them and bared my teeth. This scared them off. We neared the end of the tunnel and Gon and Killua jumped off.

"Race you!" Gon challenged.

"Whoever loses has to pay for dinner!" Killua said, therefore excepting the challenged. I'm racing too! I told them.

"Not fair!" Gon said. "You have special powers!" Aww, please? I asked. "Fine. But you have to turn back into a human." Killua seemed to agree.

Fine! But you guys are so gonna lose! I turned into a human again.

Killua started to nosebleed because of how short my shorts were. You are so gonna be so far behind me. Well, at least you get a nice view of my ass. I only spoke to Killua this time. His nose started to bleed more.

"Ready... Set... Go!!!" I yelled. We all raced off, with me in front. Satotz reached the end of the tunnel. I ran in front of him. "I win!" I shouted.

I looked back. Killua and Gon started to argue about who got there first. I walked up to them. "Who got here first?!" They demanded Satotz.

"I believe you got here at the same time." Satotz said.

"Y/N?!" They asked me.

"How 'bout we just say that you both have to pay for dinner 50/50 because you guys were after me." I suggested.

"Fine." They said, defeated. We looked around at the exam site.

"This is the site for the 1st phase of the exam." Satotz said. I suddenly felt dizzy.

"K-Killua." I said stumbling over to him. He looked at me and held me. I turned into a miniature cat.

I fell into Killua's hand and passed out.
