~Chapter 1~
"Daddy, daddy!" you yelled as you ran into your father's arms. "Come here my little munchkin. Have you been a good girl today for mommy?" he asked. "Ya huh!" you replied. "That's my girl..."
"Daddy why weren't you at my piano recital?" you asked sadly, "Mommy came and said you were gonna be there, but you never showed up." He looked down, "Daddy had to take care of some business... but on his way back he got you a little something." He said as he took a little teddy bear out of his briefcase.
"Happy Fathers Day!" you practically screeched as you ran into your parent's room and jumped on their bed. "Awww thanks munchkin."
"Dad why did we have to move again?" you asked, still incredibly groggy from the long car ride. "I can't tell you now munchkin but I'm sure you'll understand when you're older."
"Hello, who is this?" You asked as you answered your cell phone, awakening it from its seemingly non-ending void of ringing. "This is Longwood General Hospital, is your name Sadie Kabrel?" the grim sounding lady on the phone asked. "Yes?" your replied questioningly. "We are calling to inform you that your father was just in a fatal car accident. He died 4 minutes ago. We are sorry for your loss." You dropped the phone on the floor.
Now...
I looked down at my feet as I stood in front of his grave and started to think of the statistics in my head; there are 7.442 billion people living on this planet and 1.3 million people get into car accidents every year, how come he had to be one of them?
"Sadie come on we have to go home..." mom yelled at me from the car, a tang of impatience and sadness in her voice. I take one last look at the grave before I walk to the car.

During the car ride home mom breaks the silence of the vehicle. "Baby I have been meaning to tell you something."
"Yes?"
"I think that it's time we move." She said. "What! You've got to be kidding me we can't leave, not again, not now! This is where dad is buried and I don't want to leave." I retorted. I know I was being a bit harsh but this woman was about to take me away from one of the only connections I have left with my father: his 'home'.
"We have come to his grave everyday since the accident and I know that if he was still here, he wouldn't want that for you, it's not healthy."
"No."
"Baby could you please just hear me out?"
"No."
"Sadie just for a moment could you listen to me?"
"No."
"Munchki--"
"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"
**From that point on the car ride was silent. No one dared to speak a word and no one dared to break the silence, for they were both afraid that slightest of sounds would start the first verbal war in history.**

I sat in my room thinking of mom's proposition of moving. After about an hour I decided it was time to stop knocking on death's door and take a permanent break from everything. I walked downstairs and asked my mom one thing:
"When should I start packing?"
A/N: Wow...this first chapter was shorrrrrrt. I am actually disappointed in myself..at the moment. If I can't make things long I'll try to make them juicy. Quality is better than quantity right?
Until Next Time!
