(This is actually a filler chapter because I had completely forgot chapter 35 in making my story chapters and honestly I am ashamed so this will focus as something to lighten the atmosphere)

The perfect sunny side up

K: *sitting at the table drinking coffee*

Peridot: *reading book*

Lapis: *playing with the water in her glass*

Garnet: *looks at reader* howdy

K: *looks up* oh hello, this isn't a chapter I hope you read the above print *points up*

Amethyst and Pearl: *walks in*

Pearl: hello

Amethyst: yo

Garnet: ...

Lapis: ...

Peridot: ....*whispers to k* there just going to watch us

K: *continues to drink coffee* mm they've been doing it all this time haven't you noticed.

Peridot: *shakes head no* were not around enough to notice.

Amethyst: who's making breakfast

K: I thought gems didn't need to eat

Pearl: we don't but some of us still enjoy it. *making a cup of tea*

Garnet: *smiles* k its your turn to cook.

Pearl: oh I'll do it I don't mind really.

K: no I don't mind.

Pearl: yes well you tend to get on that edge when things aren't cooked right

*Everyone agrees*

K: it's fine I'm cooking *sits coffee down*

*everyone watches*

K: *puts oil in pan and sets in on the stove* ... *folds arms and closes eyes* ....

*grease sizzles*

K: *in a flash cracks eggs and places it in the pan*

Peridot: is breakfast always this intense with her

Pearl: *groaning* it hasn't even started

K: *after the next she lifts the lid quickly revealing the egg* we-*notices a small egg shell* *groans and throws the egg away, washes the pan and starts again*

Amethyst: are you kidding me what was wrong with...*muffled speech*

Garnet: *grabs amethyst mouth and shhh* you don't want to do that.

K: *puts oil in the pan and crosses arms* ...

*grease sizzles*

K: *quickly cracks eggs and covers is with lid* ...

*poof sound from lid*

K: *lifts lid quickly to look at the egg and sweat beads fly from face to eggs* ..... *eye twitch*

Lapis: peridot want to go to the big donut instead *stands*

Peridot: *nods horrified of k's cooking energy*

-they both leave-

Pearl: *sips tea as she watch k start all over again*

----------------[time skip and 30 eggs later]------------------
K: *reaching for egg* ! *no eggs left* *searches refrigerator for eggs nine found*

Pearl: finally the madness has stopped *whispering*

-Sound of a chicken in the distance-

K: *intensifies stare out the window*

Garnet: oh no

Pearl: that poor chicken

Amethyst: *mumbling* better him then us

-after 5 minutes and a horrifying chicken screech k returns with an egg-

Amethyst: *groaning* K you're killing me come on already

Garnet: *slides seat away from amethyst and towards pearl*

Pearl: *whispering* shhh amethyst you'll upset her

K: *shoots amethyst a intimidating glance* you will experience the best sunny side up if I have anything to do with it.

Amethyst: *slumps down in chair terrified*

K: *pulls out a survival knife* *gets in a fighting stance as she holds the last egg in the house*

Pearl: *finishes tea and watches k*

*time seems to slow down*
*intensifies*

*All gems look around as the scene becomes intense*

K: *cracks egg, as the egg falls into the pan she uses knife to remove the shell pieces, eggs lands perfectly in pan as she places the lid over it* ... *poofing sound quickly lift lid. Sweat beads flow towards the eggs, in a swift motion grabs towel and catches them before any thing could get on the eggs*

Pearl: I think she just broke the law of physics

Garnet: there are no such laws when it comes to k

Amethyst: as long as I get to eat I don't care

K: *carefully places egg on plate with some toast* *smiles satisfied* alright breakfast is served *places plate In front of her*

Amethyst: *bits into egg and chews*

Garnet and Pearl: *stares at her*

Amethyst: *shrugs* I've had better

Garnet and Pearl: *face plant*

Steven: *walks in* hey guys what's for breakfast

Everyone: *looks at Steven*

K: *puts apron back on*

Garnet and Pearl: *runs out kitchen before it can happen again*
