Me and Steven decided it would be a good idea to have a movie night at my place. We invited Stevens friends and all the gems came including lapis and peridot.

"Hello Steven" peridot said walking into my house. I sat at the counter watching everyone come in. This was the first time i was having people over in a large group. Garnet made me put the alcohol away, so Steven and his friend would stumble upon it I reluctantly agreed. "Hey peridot, hey lapis" Steven said excitedly as he welcomed them in. "So your the new member of the crystal gems, what can you do" peridot asked eyeing me down. I gave a small smile "I'm a really good sword fighter and I can go toe to toe with garnet" I said proud of myself. "Interesting" peridot said walking away. After everyone had came and got settled in we argued for all of half an hour about what kind of movie to watch, in which we ended up watching jeeper creepers 1&2. Steven sat behind the couch the whole time. I leaned over the couch looking at him worried " are you sure you're ok we can watch something else if you'd like" I asked passing him popcorn. He happily took and shook his head "no I'm good" he said grabbing a hand full and handing it back. After the movie lapis and peridot insisted they went home. I let pearl drive my car to take Connie home, and amethyst walked Steven home. It was just me and garnet. "That was a nice movie" garnet said trying to make conversation "it was a scary movie nothing good about it" I said nonchalantly cleaning up the mess. Garnet frowned and helped me clean. "About the other day.." Garnet started "you haven't given me any" I stopped her. "Garnet you don't know who i am, I'm not like these others. I'm not just going to be tied down again," I said throwing away the trash "you know how you've lasted so long it's because you don't think. " I pointed my finger at her " you think that your always going to be together, relationships end, love isn't real" I gritted my teeth, I had no idea why I was so angry but I was. Maybe I just didn't want to think about it "relationship if it the right person can last as long as you want it to" garnet said sitting down. She had a sad expression on her face. " no they don't" I yelled at her " YES THEY DO" she yelled backed " IVE BEEN WITH SAPPHIRE FOR THOUSAND OF YEARS" she finished I looked at her in embarrassment "i-I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell" I said looking down "I get that your scared, I can tell by how defensive you are that you've been hurt but let me, let us we can help you" I grabbed my sides and looked away.
