Chapter 1: Cant Ignore It

I moved to beach city about a year ago. I thought it would be a nice place to escape the chaos of the outside world. But that was quite the opposite. It seemed like everyday strange things were always happening. But by now I was use to it and I didn't try to get involved at all.
----------------------------------------------
I woke up groggy, from sleeping so terribly last night, sat up and made my way to the bathroom taking a quick shower and putting on a black tank top and some khaki shorts. I laced up my black low dunk converse. And tied my long crimson red hair in a pony tail And headed out the door. Today was different from other days because today I was going to confront the problems that had been happening in beach city and if I could possible bring an end to all this madness.
-----------------------------------------
I had reached the beach where I heard from the cool kids that a boy and his "mothers" lived. I didn't notice anything right off until I continued to walk where I noticed a house. I sighed and braced myself as i walked up and knocked on the door. I stood there impatiently until a tall pale slender woman answered the door. I had did my research so i knew by the gem in her forehead that this was Pearl. "Umm yes hello, can I help you with anything" I shuffled a bit and averted my eyes to the side for a second and then back at her "yes, I wish to speak to the one in charge here" I said confident that there was no backing out of this now. I just had to worry about not losing my temper. Pearl stood there for a moment before speaking "please come in" she offered and stood aside for me to walk in. I walked in and stood beside the door just in case i had to make a hasty retreat. "I'll go get garnet, assuming that is the one you wish to speak with" Pearl said walking towards a door that glowed with her gem. There house looked modern but very nice. I was brushed from my thoughts as the door reopened and Pearl and what I could only assume to be garnet walked in. "Yes but she seems to want to talk to you. And I don't know how to make her go away" she mumbled as if I couldn't hear her "I'll get rid of her" the tall thicker lady with the boxed Afro spoke as she walked closer to me. "I'm literally standing right here" making it obvious I heard every word. " what did you want to talk about" she said flatly. I ran my hands through your hair and sighed "yes well I wanted to discuss the weird things that go on in this city because of you. I would like for them to stop." I couldn't tell what garnets face read because of her shades but I could only assume she wasn't happy " or you aware that..." I interrupted her " yes i am aware that you save mankind from the dangers of the world that YOU brought here" I said vaguely " you seem to be more trouble then you're worth" you said squinting your eyes at the both of them "and I quite frankly am sick of it and wish for it to stop. I've barely slept since I moved here" I greeted my teeth and turned to walk towards the door. "I see your frustrations but you are just a human you do not know the things you speak and it would be best if you let us do our jobs" she said adjusting her shades. I was known for staying to myself but that was only because I had a short temper part of the reason I left the busy life of the city. I turned around and started walking towards the gem " YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I KNOW GARNET! Fusion of ruby and sapphire. I have studied everything that has ever been associated with a gem including the war that ALL OF YOU CAUSED. That killed countless humans and gems alike" I started walking towards the gem as she backed away surprised by my knowledge " I even know about the boy. The half gem. I know about all of you so don't talk to me about not knowing the things I speak" I said mocking the gem and turning away "just keep the destruction of my home to a minimum" I said waking out slamming the door behind me. "Well that went well" I mumbled to myself as I began the long walk home.
