Ashley's POV:

Today's the first day of high school. To be honest, I'm not nervous, mostly because I have Jason with me. But then again he might find new friends, or I'll find new friends. Who knows? Wait, am I sleep/mind talking? I feel like I am but I don't- My alarm goes off. I jump up like someone just splashed water on me. "What time is it?,"I mumble, while squinting my eyes at the clock. "Oh shoot. It's 7:20 school starts at 8:00!!" I would wake up at like 6 usually because it takes a while for Jason to come since he takes his sweet time at home. I jump out of bed and do my morning routine expect like, 3 times faster. Jason was supposed to be picking me up today, so I had to hurry. After I had everything set I ran down to the kitchen to get breakfast.

I grab a bowl and run to get cereal. As soon as I pour the cereal I run to the fridge. "I can make i-" I groan. "Who the heck finished the milk?!" My sister giggled. Oh yeah. I forgot to mention my 7 year old sister. She can he really annoying at some points, but in the end, we still love each other. "Wow Melani, thanks," I said sarcastically. There is a honking noise outside, and I jumped. "Damn it." I whisper under my breath. I grab my backpack "Bye mom!" I said, walking out the door. "I thought I was the one who 'takes up my sweet sweet time' I just scoffed and urged him to drive already. "Hurry its 7:47!" He just asked if I was okay. "Jeez I don't know let's see maybe I'm not because it's first day of high school which is a scary place and we might be late!" He just stared at me. "Drive you doofus and stop looking at me!" I chucked. He laughed along.

Jason POV:

When we arrived the halls of the school were so big, and cliche. Her eyes were wide and filled with amaze. I could hear the announcements from the intercom saying,

"Welcome back or welcome to Oak Ridge High School! Today is August 17 which means it's time to hit the books kids! This week and next, we will not be having any homework! Hope you have a rawr-licious day!"

Ashley and I went to our assigned lockers, but the good thing was our lockers were only 4 lockers away from each other. I put my empty backpack in the locker and walk to Ashley. I was about to speak when the bell rang. "Uh Quick! What's your first period?" I said. "Mr. Curtis in Chem." She sped talked, "you?" "Ms. Luna." I said. "Ok I think we have lunch together, we'll see after a couple of periods bye," she said running off. "I love you," I said in my mind.
