Spinel had been silent for the past few days, following her Senpapi's orders. Whenever one of the gems talked to her, as much as she wanted to reply and say something, she didn't. She always thought of it as the "Quiet Game", as Steven mentioned to her eventually. Of course, with her being quite a chatterbox, it was a bit difficult at first. It was HARD. Harder than an erection. Then again, she didn't know what would be worse: If she spoke and lost the game or what Senpapi would do if she broke the rules. Not that it would be that bad, right? He was her best friend. And he wouldn't make a big deal over "Quiet Game".

Usually she'd be occupied in Steven's room. Reason is that she has a higher chance of winning the game since no one really goes in there. And besides, her bunny, whom she calls "Senpapi Chulo" or "Fuzzy" or just cute nicknames like that kept her company when Senpapi wasn't around.

When he WAS around though, she noticed something.

He was always flirty, buttering her up with compliments and flattery. She loved it, too. Whenever he flirted with her, her cheeks would always burn with a blush. The Diamonds were never on her mind. And if they hadn't found her yet, pretty sure she had nothing to worry about.

And that was another thing. He was getting more morbid with his promises. Such as with the Diamonds or with Amethyst. Amethyst....

Spinel hadn't spoken to Amethyst. Not because of the game, but she was still a bit upset with her anyway. If the pink gem had a real human heart she would've had a heart attack right there on the spot when Amethyst started mentioning the possibilities that the Diamond may find her; making them servants and torturing them and such. Steven hadn't been too nice about it.She'd ask what he was thinking about and he'd just say he was thinking of ways to make sure Amethyst didn't scare her again. Though she didn't know what that meant, considering he said that in a threatening way.

All these thoughts go through the pink gem's mind in the room she remained in. The room she didn't leave so she could win the game. Besides, this was the easiest place to win at. Sure she was pretty active, but there was still alot she could do in here. Especially with her lil' bunny.

"I hope I can talk to you, Fuzzy, since Senpapi told me I couldn't talk to anyone. But I think that was just for the gems." Spinel told the stuffed bunny. "I wonder why though. I don't wanna disappoint him though. And to be fair this game is kinda fun! But I do feel weird not talking to the gems. It's kinda mean, ya know?"

The stuffed toy said nothing.

"Yeah, exactly! They probably think I don't wanna be their friend anymore! Well...mostly Amy. When Senpapi told me not to speak to the gems he gave strict instructions to ESPECIALLY not talk to her. Like, especially. Yes, I'm still a tiny bit upset but that doesn't mean she deserves the silent treatment. ....Does she? Does she actually deserve it? Senpapi thinks so." She sighed happily. "Ya know, Fuzzy, he's a real friend. The best..."

The bunny's head tilted as Spinel hugged him tightly and continued. "Lemme tell you about him! Well for one, he helped me to be a better gem! Long story short I tried to kill him because of his skank of a mom and the fact she abandoned me in the garden for 6000 years. But he taught me that I can make a difference and I can just forget about her. Then I went to live with the Diamonds! Where I thought they loved me, but...they didn't..." Her voice cracked at 'but they didn't.' She hugged her toy tighter, but not enough to destroy it.

"Yeah...and that's the story of why I came back here...to get away from them. I have to say though, since I came back crying like a little baby back bitch, Senpapi's been quite the charmer! He's been protective of me and all. I think the first time he saved me was the day I got you at the arcade. Some guy came and starting flirting with me like he knew me. Yes, I was scared and paranoid as shit. But then he disappeared and was found dead. Senpapi must've told him to backoff and accidentally ran into a killer. Same with Connie. She never forgave me for my attack on Earth and brought it up...she had every right to be mad at me. But after Senpapi kicked her out she was found dead also...strange."

She looked at Fuzzy, expecting an answer. "Silly, Fuzzy!" she giggled at her companion. "Senpapi wouldn't let that ol' crook get me! He said he was gonna protect me and not let the killer get me! Just like with the Diamonds or Connie or that fuckboi! You have a WILD imagination Fuzzy."

"...."

"I guess you're right...but he's a DIAMOND! Well, half diamond. But still, he can take out just about anyone. Humans...gems....anyone. Basically, I owe everything to Senpapi. My respect, my oath...everything. He's nothing like his skank of a mom..."

"..."

"I'm glad you're here with me Fuzzy," Spinel said. "Just a few minutes ago Senpapi went to get me a surprise! I wonder what it is! Maybe...he's gonna get you a friend. Another bunny...a giraffe...a puppy...wouldn't that be cute?"

"..."

Before she could say anything else, she heard a knock on the door. She was about to say something in case it was Steven with her surprise but then again this was his room. He wouldn't be knocking on his own bedroom door. Besides, she didn't wanna risk losing the game of "Quiet Mouse" if it was one of the gems. She didn't reply.

The knocking continued. "Hey...Spinel?"

Amethyst. It was Amethyst.

Spinel's lips were sealed shut. She wanted to win the 'game' Steven set up for her. She was doing good so far!

"Spinel...look...I know you and I aren't on the best terms...and I know you probably don't wanna speak to me after what I was saying about the Diamonds kidnapping us and shattering us." Amethyst said from the other side. Just hearing those things again made Spinel nervous. "And the worst punishment for me is...well...my lil' bro and the gem I hurt giving me the silent treatment...I'm sorry for making you all paranoid and things...and I'm sorry for making fun of it."

Spinel remained silent. There was a lot she wanted to say but couldn't.

The purple gem continued. "Come on...I understand you're mad at me and you have every right to be. Please? Just say something?"

Nothing.

"*sigh* Alright...I'm coming in. Hopefully a face-to-face apology would at least make it better..." The knob turned and Amethyst stepped in with a look of guilt on her face. She closed it behind her and sat by Spinel. If Spinel could accept her apology she would say so. But we all know why she couldn't. ''I'm serious...I'm really sorry. I should've known not to mention those things and you're scared enough as it is. And I know I've made it worse. Please...it's bad enough having one of you giving me the silent treatment and being mad at me, but you and Stee? That hurts alot...and I know he'll only forgive me if you do. Please accept my apology Spinel...I'm really sorry..."

The apology was real. Spinel knew Amethyst meant well and it wasn't her intention to scare her. And besides, she included Amethyst as her friend, right? Frieds forgive each other for everything.

Well, except if one of them sleep with your boyfriend or girlfriend, and then there's gonna be some problems.

Amethyst waited for the gem to answer. "Why aren't you speaking to me?  Why aren't you speaking to anyone?"

I can't if I wanna win. Spinel thought to herself.

Spinel remained quiet. Now it was getting harder not to say anything. Now she was feeling guilty. This game wasn't so fun after all but she had to keep playing until Senpapi came back. Well, at least until he came back. Where was he anyway? Whatever surprise he was getting for her must be special. Maybe an actual rabbit or a giant cake he was gonna jump out of.

Actually come to think of it she thought of doing that for him one day since she saw a video where a girl jumped out of  a giant cake on her friend's wedding day. It was pretty fun to watch. Probably be even funner to do for Senpapi.

"Are you ok Spinel?"

She smiled in response. At least it was something if it wasn't words. That was enough for Amethyst to smile back in relief. "Thanks. Hopefully Steven can forgive and forget. Seriously though, why are you so quiet? A quiet Spinel isn't the Spinel I know. Is there anything wrong? Come on, talk to me!"

"She doesn't need to talk if she doesn't want to."

Spinel's face lit up as she saw Steven in the doorway. He was hiding something behind his back. Most likely her gift she was anticipating. Despite her excited expression, Steven showed the complete opposite. It wasn't a happy one when he saw Amethyst. It was more of a displeased and jealous one. A pissed one. Amethyst gulped nervously but smiled anyway.

"Hey Stee man!" she greeted with a nervous chuckle. "How are ya doin'?"

"Spinel, you haven't been speaking to this reject, have you?" He asked as he rose an eyebrow. Spinel shook her head. "Good. So I take it she's bothering you?"

"No, no, no...!" Ame protested. "I just came here to apologize for what I did! And she's been pretty mute but I'm hoping that she forgave me for making fun of her anxiety and things. Why is she so quiet anyway?"

"That really would be none of your business. If she doesn't wanna say anything she doesn't have to. You don't know for sure if she forgives you. I think it's best you let it go and just face the fact you fucked up."

Amethyst looked at him in shock. He was serious. She didn't think that the sweet and lovable Steven DeMayo Universe would say that. "Steven I-"

"You what?"

"I...I'm sorry. Ok? I am. I didn't think you'd be so hostile about it...." Amethyst said full of guilt. She decided it was best to leave it alone and leave. She playfully punched Spinel's arms, which she recieved a chuckle in response. "Well...Imma just go-"

"Yeah, you should." Steven agreed unkindly.

And with that, she left with guilt in her system. Spinel kinda felt bad for the gem. But that went away as Steven smiled at her and her obediance. She had successfully stayed silent towards Amethyst as he had instructed. "So did I win?!" Spinel asked excitedly. "Did I? Did I?"

"Of course you did, love," Steven replied as he sat beside her. "And those who obey get a special reward~" He pulled out her surprise: A heart shaped box of chocolates and bouquet of pink roses. Spinel generously took them  and opened the chocolates immediately. They were gourmet and specially made and crafted. As for the roses, they were as pink as they were when freshly grown. Bright pink. "Awww thanks Senpapi!" she cooed. "This is so sweet of you~"

The hybrid smiled as his jester blushed with flattery. "Nothing's sweeter than you, my little jester~"

"Aw come on you didn't have to do this!" She excalimed while popping one of the chocolates into her mouth. "I love this so much Senpapi. Thank you...Ya know what? Imma get a GIANT cake and imma jump out of it to surprise you! I'm gonna have to watch some videos of how human do it though. Would you like that?"

The thought of his beloved doing that almost turned him on a little bit. But it was a version he was pretty sure she wouldn't consider doing. Well...she might. Hell, he might ask her to do the version he's thinking of; with a hot costume and making it special . "Yeah, sounds sexy." He sighed at the thought of her performing act.

Spinel tilted her head in confusion. "What's  sexy?"

"Something you already are~" Steven replied flirtily. He got closer to her, to where his now diamond eyes were staring her spiral ones. She wasn't herself anymore. It was like she was silent all over again. She felt Steven's hand on her hip as it started searching her curvy figure. "Ya know Spinel..." He started as he looked at her everlasting beauty. "I always thought of you as a gift. As hot one. It's like when you got here I realized how special you are. Cute, innocent....obedient..... It makes me wonder why anyone would wanna hurt you." He leaned closer to her, his pink eyes staring deep into her hypnotized ones. "Aren't you glad I'm here?"

"......" Spinel was speechless. All she could do was smile dreamily. What was getting into her? Why did she all of a sudden fall  under his love's spell. Not that she knew he was in love with her. She just thought of   him as a protective best friend. But she did wonder...why did his eyes always turn into those diamonds? It mainly happened when it was just her and him. Sure she had gotten a little bit used to it and thought it was pretty cute. Though it could be intimidating. And before she could say anything his lips fell on to hers.

Spinel didn't expect that at all...she didn't know if she liked it or not. But being so close to Senpapi somewhat gave her a wave of security. Plus it was romantic. After a few seconds he broke the kiss. Spinel's face was burning with a blush. What the hell just happened...
"Good girl..." Steven purred as he saw her in a trance. An attractive trance. "Nice to see you didn't fight back. Maybe this'll be easier than I thought~"

"....What do you mean it'll be easier? Are you trying to gain my trust so you can give me to the Diamonds? Easier to sell me off to that killer....?" She stuttered. Steven chuckled under his breath. "Of course not." He kissed her forehead as they noticed it was night. "You know I don't mean it like that. I'm not giving you away for the world. Let's not spend the night worrying about that, ok? Besides, I've planned alot of stuff for tomorrow. You don't wanna miss out on that, do ya?"

Spinel shook her head and ate a few more peices of her chocolate then set aside the roses. "Nope!" Tucking herself in with Fuzzy-or whatever the hell she wants to call it- her hyperness for tomorrow started filling her head. "Night Steven. Glad you're not giving me to the Diamonds..."

She closed her eyes and automatically had dreams of all sorts of hyper activity. Steven was ready to get some rest himself. And all the while, we can all bet about his thoughts: Revenge on Amethyst (which he'll do soon, just have to time it), shattering the Diamonds and ruling Homeworld, and Spinel jumping out of a cake with the hottest lingere he could imagine.

But it was only a matter of time until his dream about Amethyst's fate was to come true.

Welp...Su is done...SU and SUF have both changed my life in one way or another. But just because the show is done doesn't mean that my fanfics are done for. I decided this would be a good day to finish the chapter and cheer you up. But enough with the sad talk....

Yes! Amethyst is fenna say 'Bye-bye'! But it's official: Steven has a kink with Spinel and Amethyst is done for. I actualy feel bad for her, seeing she apologized for scaring Spinel and all.  Too bad Senpapi's a jealous asshole and a cracked-out head. But yeah, prepare for next chapter. Hopefully it wont take to long for that one.

Also...PARTY AT KATLADY STUDIOS FOR NoSpineSpinel2216's BIRTHDAY! Happy birthday homie, glad to know ya. Now...get the lights on and get out the snacks cause its fenna be a loooooong night, buddy.
