I've never truly cared for love stories. I prefer the comedy side of rom-coms. But my favourite part of every lovey dovey movie is the side character wing man. I know next to Monique I'm basic looking, next to Conner I'm jaded, next to Riley I'm dumb, and next to Remy I'm...well not as judgemental. What I'm trying to get across is that I don't have much of a personality other than "the cool unbothered one."

As that wing woman character though, I'm the funny one! The super fun silly goofy best friend. That's who I want to be...but I sadly can't. Why you may ask? Because all of my friends love lives are shit. So I don't have anyone's relationship to meddle with.

Yes it's toxic to surround myself with the lives of others and not my own. But I don't really have a life to not be toxic with. I've got no hobbies, no interests and no...purpose. I've never been good at anything I liked, or liked anything I've been good at. So I might as well give stereotypes a try! If only I could find out who my friends like.

Monique's crushes last as long as my lollipops. Riley's probably AroAce or something. Conner's dense as hell so he can't even tell if somebody's flirting with him. My one last hope is Remy. Remy's good looking, funny, and fits a rom-com protagonist. Only problem is that he's stubborn as fuck! No indication of what his type is. The only person he spends so much time is Conner.

I've seen girls flirt with him, he just rejects them. Which means I'll have to get him to fall for someone who doesn't already like him. I've tried getting him to flirt with a waitress already but all it's done is make Conner want the Wing man job to. So I will find another girl.

Brea Aziz, she sits right next to Remy in Science class. They seem to get along well enough and they're both hot. So according to movie's they're meant to be! Since I'm in the same class I'd thought it'd be easy to get them together. Sadly I forgot Conner's in the same class, which means he's always interrupting the rom-com vibes, especially today.

Our teacher Ms.Springs is making us work as a group for a small project. Luckily I'm in the same group as Remy and Brea. Unluckily Conner's in the group as well.

"So what do you guys think about doing bacteria?" Remy states writing down a few ideas and plans. "It would be the most easy to find."

"I personally think it's a great idea!" Brea beams.

"Wow you two really are on the same page huh!" I say laughing hoping to plant a seed with my amazing wing woman-ness.

"Look Remy!" Conner exclaims holding a folded paper star. "It's a star 'cause you're a star!"

"God Conner that's corny," Remy sighs rolling his eyes.

"Sooooooo," Conner says. "You don't want it?" Remy snatches the star from Conner.

"How could I not want an amazing paper star made by you?" Remy laughs sarcastically. "Sarcasm aside, I love it Conner thank you."

"You two are such a cute couple!" Brea chuckles. Remy's face turns beet red as Conner looks confused.

"They're not a couple,they're best friends Brea!" I say faking a laugh that just ends up feeling awkward. "Remy and Conner are straight."

"Oh my bad guys!"

"Plus I can do, like, way better than Remy!" Conner jokes. "I could totally date a rock if it was alive."
I glanced at Remy who looked nervous and shy. I can basically see the butterflies in his stomach, and they're not from Brea. Shit... Remy likes Conner?!

HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO GET THOSE TWO TOGETHER?! I mean I don't even know if Conner's straight anymore! Even if he is gay that doesn't mean he's got a crush on Remy too. I should just give up and let them work it out.

No...this time I'm not giving up. I'm gonna follow something through. I'll put effort into this, because I need to learn how to commit. So even though my plans changed I can make it work! The only problem is that Remy likes Conner but I don know if Conner likes Remy. Until I do find out I'll work hard to do my part as the awesome wing woman!
