Six months already passed after Naira getting selected in a daily soap for the female lead..

Kaira's relationship was still the same.. they both got busy with their  respective jobs and were unable to spend much time with each other though Kartik never fails to drop or pick her from her set if he is free.. so was with Abhishek..

Naira was quite a public figure now..  whenever she goes out some people recognizses her and come up to her to talk and take selfies, autograph and so on...

Kartik and Abhishek were so happy for her .. sometimes they couldn't believe that it's really happening with their own Naira..

Her family when got to know about her acting and all they tried contacting her and tried taking back her home but she clearly refused.. she also returned all the money she was taking for these years because she was now able to.. she broke all the remaining ties with her family..

Life was going on like this for them..

One fine day Kaira decided to meet at their old coffee shop since they were missing each other's company.. for long they haven't met owing to both of their hectic schedule..

When Naira reached, Kartik was already sitting there engrossed in his phone scrolling through something..

She came near him and tapped on his shoulder..

Naira : Itne ghus ke kya research kar rahe ho mendhak??

She went and sat opposite to him..

Kartik looked up..

Kartik : Kya kaha??

Naira : Maine kaha ki tum itne dhyaan se dekh kya rahe ho??

Kartik : Nahi woh nahi.. tumne mujhe kya bulaya..

Naira : Oh tumhe??

Naira laughed loudly..

Naira: Mendhak kaha...

Kartik : And why so??

Naira : Hahaha!! Kyunki tum mendhak ki tarah tarah bari bari aankhon se kuch dekh rahe the aur tum kaafi tarr tarr bhi karte ho isiliye..

Kartik : Very funny..

Naira : I know..

He was still scrolling through the phone..

Naira: Arrey tumhara best friend idhar tumhare saamne baithi hai aur tum ho ki phone pe ghuse pare ho..

Kartik: Tumhe hi dekh raha hu..

Naira : Matlab..??

Kartik : I was just scrolling through your insta account..

Naira : Oho!! To janab ko finally social media mein aane ka time mil hi Gaya.. aur aake hi stalking shuru..

Kartik : I wasn't stalking.. was just going through and nothing else..

Naira : To kaise lage pics Kartik..??

He sighed..

Kartik (to himself) : Saare pics to..

Naira : Kya ho gaya Mendhak..

Kartik : Tumhare kaafi saare pics to Ishaan ke saath hai...

Naora : Haan he is a such a good guy you know... bahut help karta hai meri woh..

Kartik : I understand humesha tum log saath hi rahte ho..

He fisted his hand which was on his thighs under the table so that Naira cannot sense it..

Naira : Haan woh to hoga hi na.. main tumhe milaungi usse .. I am sure you will love his company.. and even he will love your company..

Kartik (gritting his teeth): Nahi tum hi ghum lena uske saathe.. main akela hi thik hu..

Kartik kept down the phone being frustrated..

Naira : Kartik, tum itna weired kyun behave kar rahe ho.. everything is fine na.. jabse aayi hu tabhi see tum mujhse thik se baat nahi kar rahe ho..

Kartik : Hm.. nahi.. (he sighed) sab thik hai.. tum khush ho right to main bhi khush ho.. abhi tum celebrity ban gayi ho.. mujhe bhaav dogi bhi kyun..

Naira got literally shocked hearing this statement from him..

Naira : Kartik kya bol rahe ho.. pagal ho gaye ho kya..

She kept her hand on his which was above the table..

He quickly removed her hand from his..

Kartik : woh sab chodo yeh bolo Kya order kare??

She was still confused at Kartik's behavior but let it go for now..

She was just going to order something when she saw someone a little far.. she got happy and stood up..

Naira : Ishaan tum??

Kartik chuckled at himself and his luck..

Naira passed Kartik (since Kartik back facing Ishaan) went to Ishaan and side hugged him..

Kartik did not even looked back but  left leaving a message on Naira's phone..

Naira was chatting with Ishaan..

Naira : Come, I have someone with me.. guess who Kartik.. main abhi usse tumhare baare mein hi bol rahi thi and see you are here..

Ishaan : Kartik!! Jiske baare baare mein bol bol ke tum roz mera sar khaati ho.. chalo aaj mil lete hai aapke best friend se..

They reached to their table to found no one.. she looked here and there..

Naira : Areey abhi to yahin tha.. kahan chala gaya..

She was going to call him and saw the message from Kartik - "Had to leave urgently due to some sudden work.. sorry".

She got disheartened reading this..

Ishaan : Kya hua??

Naira : Umm... ussko suddenly kaam aa gaya kuch to he has to leave..

Ishaan sensed something wrong..

Ishaan : Are you sure?? I mean abhi to tha.. itna achanak kya kaam aa gaya.. aisa to nahi ki he didn't like me coming..

Naira : Arrey nahi nahi woh aisa nahi hai.. usse sach mein kaam as Gaya hoga.. U know na how busy he is.. woh bahut dedicated hain apni work ko lekar.. to sachmein kuch important hi hoga..

Ishaan : I understand.. it's okay.. baad mein usse mil lunga..

Naira : Fine.. to chalte hai..

Ishaan : Yeah!!

They went out of the cafe and headed toward their respective homes..

On the other hand Kartik reached home frustrated.. he was boiling with anger..

After calming down himself he started cursing himself..

Kartik (to himself) : Yeh Kya kia tune Kartik khud ko accha nahi lag raha tha issiliye use chod ke Chala aaya.. This is not done.. usse kitna bura laga hoga.. par main bhi Kya karta...  Ishaan ke saath main.. wahan pe rahta to aur ajeeb ho jata..
Main Kya sochu Kya karu kuch samajh nahi aa raha.  It's so damn complicated.. tumne kaha tha tumhe time chahiye.. it's okay naira take your time.. take as much as time you want.. I will keep waiting for you.. forever.. aur agar phir pata chala ki tum kisi aur ki hogayi to bhi Kya.. usse mere pyaae mein koi fark nahi padega.. I will always love you the way I do..
Oh God Kartik..!! Yeh sab tu kya soch raha hai.. you need to calm yourself down..

Here Naira also reached her home..

Naira (to herself): Pata nahi yeh Kartik ko Kya ho gaya hai..?? Itna weird kyun behave kar raha hai woh??
