"Hey!" Gale woke up by a pillow thrown to his face. "It's a Saturday!"
"Yeah," Gavin nodded as Gale got up. "And we have a Paskorus practice."
"Oh." Gale sighed, remembering. "Where's Jeff?"
"Getting ready in the bathroom. You can go eat now." Gavin said. "As much as I don't want to, if my mom didn't force me to wake up earlier than you two, we'd be having trouble."
"Okay." Gale nodded as he exited the guest room he and Jeff had stayed in. Since they were having their Paskorus practice, the two of them were allowed to have their weekend stay at Gavin's house, and they'd carpool with him to the venue.
They've had practices in school over the course of the week though. The first was a meeting at the gazebo nearest to the flob about the song, and it was later confirmed in the group chat. Then there were physical copies of the song printed thanks to the library.
Next was the time they were at the gazebo again, but this time, it was one of the ones on the right side of the large field, if you were facing the grandstand. They divided the class according to their voice ranges and practiced singing the song.
Their third practice was more singing and some choreography. It was still situated by the gazebo at the second practice.
Of course, that summary was simplified. Hopefully by later they could finish up the choreography.

"GALE'S A GIRL!" Julia yelled. She had placed a fallen white flower behind his ear.
At least fifteen of them were currently at the park nearby their school. The place was huge, so they decided to meet up at the trees near the playground before picking an exact venue to practice in.
"And me?" Jeff looked at her. He had also worn a little flower.
"You're a girl!" Julia laughed.
"Jeff," Gavin looked at him as he brought out his Cajó. "Are you trying to be a girl?"
"Is he?" James placed his head on Gale's shoulder.
Why? Gale stood still, surprised and disturbed.
Suddenly, James decided to go bother Brooke.
"So when will the other dormers arrive?" Jeff asked Leanne.
"They'll be here soon." She answered.

Denise made one of his weird noises as he curled up in the circle he created. The class was situated in an area filled with pebbles not too far from where they originally were. However, the tiny rocks made it difficult to dance, so most of the students had created their own circles that did not contain those pebbles.
They couldn't find another place to stay in. At least there were benches with tables, trees for shade, and wind to cool off.
"Denise," Riannon poked him. "Please get up."
He let out another sound and jumped onto his feet.
"Uhm..." Leanne worriedly glanced at him for a second then back at the rest of the class. "Let's see what we've done so far..."
"Yeah." Cheese Roll nodded as she connected her phone to the small speaker they had brought with them.
"We're just gonna be fixing the chords over here." Gavin announced from the benches, gesturing to Jelly and Julia with the former's keyboard. Jeff gave them a thumbs-up.
The first few notes of the song snapped everyone's attention back to performing.
"A!" RD yelled, raising the 1/16 (?) illustration board containing the said letter.
"Ang Pasko ay sumapit!" The students at the left side, Group One, marched forward and backward. They spun around to point at Group Two.
"Ba—!" RD's voice cracked a bit.
"Bagong taon ay magbagong buhay!" Those on the right, the second group that included Gale, made their move as they sang.
"Ka!" RD shouted.
"Kahit hindi Pasko..." Both groups stood still.
"Ay magbigayan!" They moved their outstretched arms until it was on their left side, and they did the same for their right arms.
They continued until they reached the letter "M". There weren't any assigned steps for it yet.
"So..." John, the one who came up with most of the choreography, thought for a moment. "Wait."
A few seconds passed, along with a few flying birds from the trees.
"Actually..." He started. "We can change things..."

"So where do we have our lunch?" Gale asked, walking beside Jeff.
"The parents seem to know where they're going..." He answered.
"Not really." Gavin sighed.
They were all passing through a walkway lined with flowers and some butterflies. Nothing really caught Gale's interest though, besides another cool breeze.
After a while, they turned to the left and found a small circle (or at least compared to the rest of the park) with a few places to eat. It was lunch time though, so they had to prioritize the ones that served something suitable.
"Where do you kids want to eat?" One of the parents gestured to the only two choices they had. They were similar, but still different enough for everyone to have their preferences.
Soon it was settled, making them split into two groups. Gale's reason behind joining his group was due to the shakes that were served.

"So..." Carl poked the glass in front of him. They were all seated. "How much do I have to pay for a broken glass?"
"Why are you even asking?" Gale stared at him with a confused expression. The waited quickly glanced, too.
He shrugged.
"There's isn't anything interesting enough that happened..." Carl answered after a while. "All we did was practice... Is this how we are once we're outside?"
Gale felt something strange stir at the back of his mind.
"Haha... We're just not used to waking up that early on weekends." Denise sipped his lemon shake. "I sleep for more than like... Thirteen hours? Maybe fifteen. I'm not sure anymore. I'll most likely do weird stuff later. How does it feel like to drop someone off a tree?"
"Hmmm..." He paused. "I could drop myself!"
"Is that even dropping..?" Carl glanced at him.

"Look at this egg!" The bearded old man held up the said object with shining eyes. He looked at the students. "Do you want the egg?"
Denise made his weird noise, but the man still waved the egg around.
Lunch was over. They were back at where they were practicing, and after two rounds, the man showed up.
"Do you want the egg?" He repeated, taking a step closer.
Gale tensed up and allowed his eyes to dart around to the others. Some of them felt the same way, too. A few looked unfazed, and a few looked determined to take action if anything happened.
"Sir," One of the parents, specifically Gavin's mom, approached the stranger. They talked.
After a while, the man walked away cheerfully with the egg still in his hand.
"What the hell was that!?" Carl blurted out the moment the man was far away. "What the hell was that!?"
"You did want something interesting to happen." Denise said.
"But it didn't have to be something that could be dangerous!" Carl replied. "And there's a difference between interesting and weird!"
"...Things seem okay now." Leanne sighed. "But let's all calm down first..."
