"The Paskorus is both your Music Project and a competition. As a class, you will perform, on the third floor auditorium's stage, a Filipino Christmas song. You are required to sing as a class or at least in groups, and you will need live acoustic instrumentalists who are also from the class. You must also have choreography and costumes for the song. Outside help, such as parents or hired tutors, are not allowed. Parents can only help in overseeing your food, drinks, and yourselves in practices, especially if you ever plan to have a practice outside the school grounds. This will be held on December 8's first Universal Break. Any questions?"

"Ma'am," Gavin stood up. "Do the instrumentalists need to sing, too?"

"They may," She answered. "But they aren't required to."

"Wew." Gavin sat down, smiling.

"Now..." Ma'am Tahnee continued. "Since it's the second week of November, you will need to choose a song. Once you've chosen a song, the president will submit to me a 1/4 sheet of paper containing your section, the song, and at least two back up songs ranked according to your choosing. It's November 6, so on Wednesday, November 8, you must submit it."

"I will give you time to talk about it now." She said. "You may use your phones to research songs."

"Pssst." Gale felt something poke his shoulder. He turned, expecting it to be James with his weird habits, but James was all the way on the other side of the corridor, playing with Brooke's hair.

"Oh, hi, Sir." Gale greeted Sir Neil. Apparently he was poked with a chocolate bar.

"Happy birthday!" Sir Neil pet him and handed him the chocolate.

"Wait, it's for me!?" Gale gaped.

"Yes~" Sir smiled.

"Wew! Thanks, Sir!" Gale decided to rip the wrapper open and munch on the sweet.

"Make sure to drink water afterwards~" Sir Neil pet him again and waddled away.

"Does Sir Neil do this to the others?" Gale asked Jeff who witnessed the whole thing as he ate.

"Yeah." Jeff nodded. "You just haven't noticed."

"I almost forgot my own birthday!" Gale laughed. Having school on his birthday was fine, but since he couldn't celebrate it with his family (the ones who he always spent his birthdays with), he had almost forgotten about it. He kind of wished he was home.

"Anyway," Gale shook off the thought. "When's your birthday?"

"Over the summer break." Jeff answered, pertaining to either the month of June or July. "I hope I can get chocolate in some way."

"You most likely will." Gale reassured him, then tilted the chocolate to his friend. "Want some?"

"Nah, it's okay."

"A bit of Homeroom before we carry on with Math..." Sir Neil said. "It's official that there will be no Periodical Exams for this quarter!"

The students cheered, but some looked unsure. All other requirements had heavier weights due to the Perio's 30% disappearing.

"Anyway, back to Math." Sir chuckled as he wrote Q2-SQ2 on the board.

"GODDAMMIT!" Carl yelled.
