Meghan's POV:

"W-What? Oh, sorry.. I was... dreaming.." Amy said, after her so called 'daydream'. She's so cute. Well, I think so anyway. The Teacher walked into the room and explained we had to do a group project with one other person.
Gina picked Will, so I had one other choice. Amy.
"So.." I said. "Want to be partners?" I asked Amy. "Sure." She replied.

~Time skip to Lunch because I can't be bothered~

{Still} Meghan's POV:

Me and my friends usually sit on a table outside, to eat our lunches.
I was walking out of our Math class, simply talking to Gina, assuming Amy was chatting away to Will.
I quickly grabbed my lunch from my school bag, and headed outside to the table. I sat down and waited for everyone else to come.
I usually count how many people are sitting down. "1..2,3,4..5" I counted 10 people. Someone was missing. Amy! I had to go look for her. The first place I decided I was going to look was the toilets, then I was going to look in all the classrooms. I was determined.

I left the table and marched off to the area of the school where the toilets were. I opened the door and heard a quiet noise. Someone was crying.. sobbing.
I walked to the cubicle where the crying was coming from. "Hello? Who is in there?"
"M-Meghan... don't c-c-come in h-here" I heard a voice say from inside the cubicle.
"Amy, is you?" I said, opening up the cubicle door. I pushed it open to see Amy, back facing me, kneeling down, her head in her hands, her Elbows resting on the toilet with the lid down. She had taken her Make-up off, I had noticed as she turned to look at me, and for the first time, I saw, there was bruises all over her face.
"A-Amy.. what happened to you!?" I exclaimed, my own eyes welling up. She burst into more tears as she explained everything to me.
"I am beaten at h-home. My parents are s-so strict, and if i d-d-do o-one thing w-wrong, or get out of line just o-once... they will beat me. A-And that caused m-me to h-h-hate myself.." She cried a little more before I hugged her, and hopefully started to make her feel just a tiny bit better.
