"Nevermind. Just go, I just need to find the nearest drug store-"

"Run!" Eliza screamed but the others needed no signal. The five friends ran out of the alley quickly.

"I'm so sorry, guys!" Angelica cried while running. "I should've believed every single fucking thing you said, Peggy!"

"I am sorry too for yelling at you..." Peggy mumbled. "And I'm sorry for blowing our cover y'all. None of this would be happening-"

"I wasn't in the right state. I-"

"CAN Y'ALL STOP APOLOGIZING AND RUN FOR YOUR FRICKING LIVES!" Alex shouted. They nodded and ran as fast as they could.

"Frick, guys, I am so sorry for getting you in this trouble but-" Peggy started.

"I JUST SAID-"

"SHUT UP, ALEX! I'M SORRY TO SAY THIS BUT PAINE IS RIGHT AT OUR TAIL!" She shrieked. He looked back and indeed saw Paine running after them at a quick pace.

"We don't have tails!" John frowned.

"Just-" Peggy groaned. "He's behind us."

"Oh," He gave a nervous chuckle. "I don't know how he can run so fast," John muttered.

"Nevermind that, John," Eliza said. "Where are we going?"

"We have no destination and we have no time to stop and think," Angelica stated. "So, just run as fast as y'all can!"

"Just pretend we're playing tag! Paine is the 'it'. A very painful 'it'," She suggested being her optimistic self.

"I see how he got his name now," Alex chuckled. John rolled his eyes.

"Talk less. Save your breath for running," Peggy panted.

John perked up. "That's very surprising since you are not much like Burr-"

"wHat dId I jUst sAy, JohN?!"

"Sorry."

They ran as fast as they could, yet no matter how hard they try, Paine always seemed to follow them like a magnet.

"Agh! Can someone just call the police?!" Alex asked getting tired.

"I'm guessing you're still too short," John joked.

"Not the time, ya two lovebirds!" Peggy chided.

"Guys quick, in here!" Angelica called motioning to an abandoned building.

"I don't trust it," Alexander stated.

"Do you want to die or what?"

He sighed. "Fine."

They ran to the back of the building and found the back door. Peggy tried the doorknob and surprisingly, it opened.

John smiled. "Phew, we're safe."

"It seems too easy..." Eliza whispered.

"It's a trap, isn't it?" Angelica muttered.

"I honestly thought y'all were smarter than that," Paine laughed as he caught up with them. "You guys are so stupid."

"Exactly why I'm not the optimist," Alex said his voice monotone.

"There's only one of you," Peggy deadpanned. 

"Five defenseless," He sneered. "And one..." He trailed off and took out something from his pocket. "with a little something."

"Whaddya got there?!" Eliza screamed.

There was no way to escape. Paine revealed that he had a-

"Fricking gun?!" John exclaimed his eyes wide.

"Where did you even get that?" Angelica asked. "And were you carrying that the whole time?"

"Maybe, hun."

"Oh, god." Peggy groaned before screaming. "WE'RE GONNA DIE! IF ANY OF YOU SURVIVE, CAN YOU PLEASE WRITE 'PAINE IS A FRICKING PAIN IN THE ASS' ON MY GRAVE!" Angelica facepalmed.

"Not like any of you will survive," He smirked and pointed his weapon towards the little dandelion.

"Oh, shiiiiiii-"

"HAHAHA FOUND Y'ALL!" Someone yelled holding up a pill. Ae were quickly followed by a group of angry readers.

Peggy grinned. "WE ARE SAVED-"

It all happened in a blur. There were a loud gunshot and a shriek. There was the random clanging of pans on one's head, and shouting everywhere.

Paine pleaded, "DON'T KILL ME. AND STOP HITTING ME PLEASE!"

"NOpE!" Someone else said. "We're taking you to Tartarus then we might kill you."

"nO!"

"Well then, just take this pill which is definitely not a painkiller," The other person said handing him the pill.

"Why?"

"TAKE IT OR WE'RE BRING YOU TO TARTARUS-"

"Damn, fine.." He mumbled and swallowed the pill. "I-" He collapsed on the floor immediately.

"Alright, time to run!" Ae smiled triumphantly. Ae ran away along with the others.

"What the fuck?" John muttered rising from the floor and dusting himself. "Is everyone alright?" He received a few okay's and a groan.

"Is he...dead?" Alexander asked jumping on Paine.

"Alex!" Angelica chided. She looked down at the lying body. "...He can't have."

"I'll check then," Alex offered and tried to check his pulse. "Uh, how do you check one's pulse?" She sighed.

"Eliza, can you check his pulse?" John called.

"Can't you?" She called back her voice wavering.

He pointed out, "You're the professional."

"Yes, I know...b-but I have to help P-Peggy-"

"What happened!?" Angelica exclaimed and jogged towards Eliza, who was sitting on the floor beside Peggy. John's face turned pale as he heard her gasp.

He hesitantly turned around and faced the others. And there, was Peggy, covered in blood everywhere.

He was speechless.
He was run over by a car by Paine.
His boyfriend was thrown off in a forty-feet height by Paine.
And now, his very best friend was shot by Paine.
