(Sora's POV):

I squirmed under the Rocket Grunt's grasp,trying desperately to free myself.I could hear Takeo and the others scream out my name.Soren is missing,the grunts took him away a while ago.The people were trying to run,but they got cornered by the Rocket grunts.

The place was in utter confusion.People are screaming,Pokémon are suffering,my friends are suffering.

I tried to kick the grunt,but he just smirked."You can never escape,little girl."He whispered.

I heard the twins scream.My eyes widened,then they almost popped out of their sockets because of anger.If they did anything to the twins,I'll kill them with my bare hands!

(Takeo's POV):

I tried to free myself.Sora is screaming,causing my blood to boil.If they lay a single,dirty finger on her,I would make sure they won't live to see another day!I finally escaped,then I ran toward her.She suddenly closed her eyes,then glowed brightly.

Everyone was almost blinded by the glow.After the flash ended,I opened my eyes.I could have sworn I saw a pair of blue wings on Sora's back.

I shrugged this of and ran toward her.She stood up,glaring at everyone.Please,Sora,don't do anything stupid!I tried to flash this message with my eyes,but she was distracted.She grabbed a Pokéball and sent out her Latios.The grunts sent out two Tyranitar.

I tried my best to fight,but there are too many grunts.Sora and her Latios were losing.She was about to send out her other Pokémon,but a grunt took away her purse.

What should I do?I don't know what to do.But,

"But Rafe does!"I exclaimed under my breath and ran toward the temple.I could hear Sora and the others scream,making me run faster.I ducked and avoided a few grunts.I just hope I won't be late.

(Normal POV):

Sora and her Latios were trapped in a corner.Latios was very tired,but was determined to protect his trainer.Kathryn and Audrey were finally freed and began to fight with their Vulpix and Growlithe.Brendan,on the other hand,was far away from them,trying to fight with his Flygon.

"Vulpix,Fire Spin!"Kathryn ordered.

"Growlithe,use Flamethrower!"Audrey followed.The two fire-type attacks hit a Tyranitar,but it didn't even harmed it.

The twins retreated toward Sora's side.They were clutching each other for dear life.It's over.They're going to die.Sora was trying to think of a plan,but she failed.She tried many things,combinations,distracting them etc.But everything failed.She was getting worried and tried to shield the twins as a Tyranitar charged itself to launch a Solar Beam toward them.

"Adrianna,use Dark Pulse!"

"Blaziken,Overheat!"Two voices caused them to smile.They're saved!

The Tyranitar was knocked out.Its trainer scampered away and dropped Sora's bag.Latios used Psychic to take her bag before anyone could get it and handed it to his trainer.Sora smiled and looked up to see someone she missed for seven freakin' days.

"Rafe!"She exclaimed and pulled him in a tight hug.His face flushed red,especially after he saw her wearing a dress,but he soon returned the hug.She began to cry on his shoulder."Y-you don't know how w-worried we all were!"She exclaimed.Rafe wiped her tears with his hand and smiled at her.

"Don't cry.I'm here now."He whispered.She smiled at him and hugged him one more time.

"Rafe!"Kathryn shouted.The twins pulled their big brother into a bone-crushing hug,causing Sora to smile before turning toward the Rocket grunts.

"Now,where were we?"She grinned mischievously at the cowering Rocket grunts.They know what she is going to do next and tried to run as fast as they can.

"Alright,Rayquaza!Let's make them pay!Hyper Beam!"She exclaimed as she threw Rayquaza's Pokéball in the air.The Hyper Beam sent the Rocket grunts flying,causing the victims to cheer.

She smiled and glanced at her friends.She retrieved Rayquaza,thanking him.That's when she dawned into realization."Takeo!"Sora shouted and ran toward the temple.Her friends follwed her,all exchaging worried looks.

She hurriedly removed her shoes so she can run faster and dashed toward the temple,avoiding the people thanking her for saving them.She reached the temple and frantically searched around.No signs of Takeo,no notes,no nothing.She fell on her knees and felt tears run down her face.

"Takeo..."She murmurred as she began to sob.Takeo is gone,without saying goodbye.Sora felt the rings on her skin show up."I f-failed you.I wasn't able to help break the curse."She sobbed.She felt someone place a hand on her shoulder.She looked up and saw Rafe.He looked at her pitifully and sat down next to her.

"Sora."He began."This Takeo...He told me you need me,so he took my place.He made me promise to protect you and tell you that you have done a lot for him.He's grateful for everything you have done."He told her in a hushed tone.Sora felt a smile creep up her lips.

"I didn't do anything.I should be the one who must thank him for everything."She whispered.

Silence followed.The twins,Brendan and Soren waited outside the temple,watching the two.

Sora felt sad.She failed him.She failed her friend.She hung her head,hating herself for failing.If only she had more time to save him,he would be standing next to her,talking to her and laughing with her.

Suddenly,something began to glow.Rafe and the other's eyes widened,but Sora wasn't able to notice it.

The light faded,and a tall figure stood behind her.He had navy-blue hair and tan skin.He possess two different colored eyes,his right eye was crimson red while his left eye was azure blue.He was wearing a battle outfit and held a spear on his right hand.He tapped the other end of the spear on the ground to get Sora's attention.She turned around.Her watery sapphire eyes widened,causing him to smirk.

"Hey."He greeted.Sora rubbed her eyes.She could hardly believe this!

"T-Takeo?"She asked him shakily and stood up.He smiled at her.She almost laughed and pulled him into a bone-crushing hug.Takeo alowed her to cry on his shoulder,trying to tell her everything is fine.She finally let go of himand wiped her tears.She smiled at him.

"The curse has been lifted.I'm free."He told her with a grin.Sora giggled and poked him on the shoulder.

"So.Who's the lucky girl?"She asked him mischievously.He looked at her with a confused expression.She realized she still haven't told him about it."The curse will be lifted if you fall in love."She explained before smirking.He nodded with understanding."So,who is it then?I don't remember seeing you with another girl.Perhaps you meet each other secretly."She asked.

Takeo's face reddened and he started to stutter."Y-you...You don't need to know!"He exclaimed."It's no one!"

Rafe and Soren sighed silently with relief while Brendan and Latios facepalmed.'Dear Arceus!The idiot almost got it!'They all thought.Brendan sighed.

'My best friend is growing up.If my father were here,he would be crying a river!'Brendan thought with a grin.

Sora giggled."Don't be shy!I'll help you with her!"She patted Takeo on the back,causing his face to glow redder than a Tomato berry.

Latios smirked.:Sora,why are you always so oblivious of other people's feelings?Perhaps you have been with Ash for too long:He said with a smirk.Sora raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"Sora asked.Behind her,Takeo had a look that told Latios he is going to die if he tells her.Latios shook his head.

:Nothing:He answered.

Audrey and Kathryn sighed and began to whisper to each other.

"And Sora Keyheart strikes again!"Kathryn whispered.

"She's really lucky.She had about,"Audrey began to count."Three guys head over heels for her now and about a thousand or more fanboys."She whispered and sighed."I want to grow up just like her."She murmured with a dreamy expression.

"Kathryn,Audrey,what are you guys whispering about?"Sora asked them.

"Nothing!"They exclaimed at the same time.Sora just shrugged this off and retrieved her Latios.

Sora and the others were packing their stuff for the journey when suddenly,the door of their room opened.They turned their heads to the direction of the door and saw Takeo,wearing modern clothes,and Luke.

"Hey guys!"Sora greeted as she stuffed a t-shirt on a large knapsack belonging to Soren.Her Cyndaquil jumped on her shoulder and yawned.

"Hi!"Luke greeted.

"So,what's up?"Sora asked as she strapped her bag on herself.

"Well.We came to say goodbye.And to tell you some good news!"Luke exclaimed excitedly.

Everyone gathered around them.Takeo was beaming as he clutched something in his pocket.

"I decided to travel the world!I even received two Pokémon!"He exclaimed with joy.Sora squealed and congratulated him.

"You should travel with us!"Brendan suggested,causing Takeo's eyes to grow wide.

"You mean it?"He asked.Everyone glanced at each other.They all nodded at the same time.

"Yes!"They answered in sync,smiling at him.He grinned.

"Alright!"He exclaimed excitedly.Luke smiled.

"Thank you for taking Takeo with you.He has nowhere to go."Luke told them.Sora just nodded.

"Your welcome!After all,he's my friend!"She grinned in a cute manner.Takeo blushed at her words while Soren and Rafe sighed.

'They kept growing in number!Of all the people,why Sora?!'Rafe and Soren thought.
