Sora found an empty spot in a beach to train.She sent out all of her Pokémon.She has to decide on who to use.She decided to use Lucario for the battle rounds.Only one problem,who should she use for the appeals?She examined her Pokémon,trying to decide on who to use.

"Who should I use for the appeals?"She wondered out loud, getting a bit frustrated.

:How about me?I want to see what a contest looks like:Rayquaza told her.Sora felt unsure.

"Are you sure,buddy?You know you are not used to being seen by a lot of people."She told him.

:I can manage:He told her.Sora smiled and patted his head.

"Alright.Let's get started!"Sora exclaimed.She felt so psyched up for the contest.

(Sora's POV):

The contest begun.I felt so excited.I might have the chance to battle Chase,Riku,Austin,Audrey,Kathryn,Soren and May!Man,I'm so pumped up.

The intercom called out my name.I stood up and gripped Rayquaza's Pokéball.The audience are going to get a nice surprise.I can't help but grin with mischief at the thought of Ash and the other's reactions.

(Normal POV):

"And let's welcome Sora Keyheart from Littleroot town!Don't you dare underestimate her fragile exterior,'cause this girl is very strong at heart!How about we give her a hand?"Lilian exclaimed.Many people screamed and clapped for Sora as she walked toward the stage.

The day is sunny and the stage doesn't have a roof,a perfect place for Sora to perform.She smiled at the crowd.Among the crowd,she saw her Cyndaquil,Rafe,Ash,Brock,Max and Drew.She grinned and winked at them.Max and Ash grinned.

"Alright,Rayquaza!Showtime!"She exclaimed and sent out the emerald dragon.Many people were shocked,while some screamed louder.

Rayquaza rose up to the sky and let out a powerful roar.

"And like I said before,never underestimate this girl!"Lilian exclaimed.

"Rayquaza,use Ice Beam!"Sora ordered.

Rayquaza released a powerful beam of ice around him,making the place look like the inside of an ice cave.

"Beautiful!Sparkling ice is around us,as if we were inside an ice cave!"Lilian exclaimed.

"Now,use Thunderbolt!"Sora ordered.

Rayquaza roared and released a powerful bolt of thunder.It struck the ice around him,creating a beautiful lightshow.The crowd stared in awe.Suddenly,Sora got struck by a large bolt.Many people gasped.

Sora was surprised,but she just stood still and allowed the attack to continue.She knows that she is used to pain,so the bolt is no big deal.Rayquaza was scared,but when he saw that Sora is still okay,he didn't stop.

"Oh my!Sora!"Lilian shouted.Many women,including Nurse Joy,almost fainted.Ash and Rafe almost ran toward her,but they suddenly froze.

Sora was just standing there,a smile on her face.She looks unharmed,not even the slightest sign of pain.The crowd was shocked.How was she able to resist the attack?

"I-I can't believe it!Sora was struck by the Thunderbolt,but it looks like she wasn't harmed!"Lilian exclaimed.

"Alright,Rayquaza!Full power!"Sora exclaimed,approaching him and causing her to receive more of the attack.The crowd almost had a heart attack.Rayquaza nodded and added more power to his Thunderbolt.This time,Sora was hurt.She bit her lower lip and restrained herself from screaming.The rings on her skin began to show,causing the rings on Rayquaza to glow.Because of the Thunderbolt,the rings glowed brighter.

Sora gasped.She never expected this to happen!She calmed down and glanced at the crowd.They don't seem to mind the rings.All they cared about was about the performance.They think it must be one if the effects of Thunderbolt from a Rayquaza.Sora then turned her attention to Rayquaza.'No matter what,the show must go on!'She thought.

"Now!Use Dragon Pulse!"Sora finished.Rayquaza's body became outlined in light green aura.He grunted and released a pulse off his body,destroying all the ice around him.The ice shattered to pieces.

Sora and Rayquaza stood in the center.Both of them had rings glowing on their skin.Everyone was awestruck as Sora bowed gracefully.

"Incredible!An ice display,a lightshow and now this!The effect of the Thunderbolt left beautiful glowing symbols on Rayquaza and Sora's skin,it's like they are connected to each other!Such a heartstopping performance!How about we give them a hand?"Lilian grinned.The crowd went wild for Sora.

"Indeed.A risky performance that involves both coordinator and Pokémon.It showed us how they can become one!"Mr.Contesta commented.

"Really remarkable!"Mr.Sukizo exclaimed.

"For a moment,I thought I was going to faint.Sora really had great courage to face such a dangerous stunt.What a unique style!And also,your Rayquaza looks very happy with you."Nurse Joy commented and smiled at Sora.

Sora felt herself being lifted up in the air by Rayquaza.He was smiling,pleased that he had done very well."Great job,buddy!"Sora exclaimed and hugged him.

Their score was 30.0.A perfect score!Sora gasped.She didn't know she could reach a score this high.She smiled and retrieved her Rayquaza."Thank you,Rayquaza."She smiled.She saw the rings on her skin disappear.Now,its on to the next round!

The second round is up!Sora found himself face to face with a coordinator named Yin.She had evergreen hair,emerald eyes and normal clothes,jeans and t-shirt.She smirked at Sora.

"Glad I get the chance to battle you,Keyheart."Yin smiled.

"Me too.Let's do our best!"Sora smirked.

"Begin!"Lilian signalled.Sora and Yin reached for their Pokéballs.

"Alright,Scyther!Let's go!"Yin exclaimed and sent out a powerful looking Scyther.

"A Scyther?"Sora took a look at her Pokédex.

"Scyther the mantis Pokémon.Its claws are as sharp as swords,and it is a powerful flyer. This Pokémon is rarely seen by humans and almost never captured."The Pokédex informed her.

"Powerful flyer,huh?This is going to be tough,and I like it!Go Lucario!"Sora sent out her Lucario.

When he emerged out of his Pokéball,he did a somersault and landed gracefully.

"Lucario,use Aura-Kick!"Sora ordered.Many people grew confused.Is that a move?

Lucario sent a ball of aura,then hit it using Blaze Kick.The Aura Sphere-Blaze Kick combination caused a lot of damage on the surprised Scyther,taking away a lot of points from Yin.

"Sora starts with an awesome combination!A great start for a battle!"Lilian exclaimed.

"Scyther,use Wing Attack!"Yin commanded.

Scyther instantly charged toward Lucario with glowing wings.Sora smirked.

"Psychic!"Sora ordered.When Scyther came near,it became surrounded by a glowing blue aura.It froze in midair,taking away a few points from Yin.

"Now Force Palm,full power!"Sora ordered.Lucario smirked and put his paw in front of Scyther.A powerful blast of white light sent it flying.It crashed toward the wall.

Three X appeared on the judges screens.Scyther was unable to battle!

Yin retrieved her Scyther and shook hands with Sora."That was an amazing battle!Wish you luck!"Yin smiled.Sora smiled back.

"Thanks!"She smiled and retrieved her Lucario.

"Masquerain,use Bubblebeam!"Audrey ordered.

"Lucario,block it by using Blaze Kick on the ground!"Sora countered.

Lucario grunted and smashed his foot on the ground.The ground rose up,blocking the Bubblebeam.Audrey lost a lot of points.

"Lucario,use Blaze Kick,then Psychic!"Sora finished.

Lucario smashed the barrier blocking him with Blaze Kick then used Psychic on the pieces that broke out.He sent them toward Masquerain.

"Try to dodge it!"Audrey shouted.

Masquerain tried to dodge it,but was hit by the rocks.Audrey lost a lot of points.

"Finish it up with Aura Sphere!"Sora ordered.

Lucario sent a ball of powerful aura toward Masquerain.Audrey gasped as her Masquerain got hit.It fell down the ground.Three X appeared on the judges screens.Sora watched Audrey retrieve her Masquerain.Audrey ran toward Sora and hugged her.

"I'm glad I get to battle you."Audrey smiled.

"Me too.You sure are one tough opponent."Sora grinned.She retrieved her Lucario and went backstage with Audrey.

Sora found herself Soren.He seems down,maybe something is wrong.

"Let's get started with the battle!This challenge,Sora Keyheart versus Soren Lockheart!"Lilian exclaimed.

Many people screamed and clapped wildly.Lilian signalled that the battle has begun.

"Lucario!Time for action!"Sora sent out her Lucario.

"Beat,the stage is yours to take!"Soren sent out his Volbeat.

(Soren's POV):

I grinned at Soren as my Lucario got ready to fight.He weakly smiled at me and nodded.He seems down.As if something is bothering him.But what?

"Alright,Lucario!Let's start with Aura-Kick!"I ordered.

Lucario smirked and used Aura Sphere.He jumped up and used Blaze Kick on it to add more power.

"Sora and Lucario start off with their Aura Sphere and Blaze Kick combination!"Lilian exclaimed.

"Use Signal Beam!"Soren countered.

Beat sent out a rainbow colored beam that collided with the Aura-Kick combination,causing an explosion.I lost a few points.I smirked as the smoke faded.

"And Soren counters with a beautiful Signal Beam!This battle is just getting started!"Lilian exclaimed.Oh,its just getting started!

I think its time I use that new move that Lucario learned during practice session.

"Nice!Lucario,use your newly learned Bone Rush!"I grinned.Lucario grinned back.

:It's about time!:He exclaimed and prepared himself.Lucario puts his paws together and spreads them apart,creating a light green bone of energy.He charged toward Beat and began hitting him with the bone.Soren lost a few points.

"Beat!Try to use Thunderbolt!"Soren quickly responded.I smiled.He fell right into my trap.

"Spin it!"I ordered.Lucario spun the bone,blocking the Thunderbolt and taking points from Soren.While Lucario was busy,Soren took the opportunity to strike.He shook his head and almost slapped himself.He hesitated at first.

"Beat,use Dizzy Punch!"Soren countered.

Beat charged toward Lucario and punched him right on the face,taking away a lot of points from me.I gasped.I wasn't expecting that!

Lucario shook his head.He began to walk around looking confused.Dear Mew!He is confused!

He looked around with a bewildered expression.He shook his head and began hurling Aura Spheres in random directions.

"Oh my!Lucario is confused!Please,remain calm!"Lilian shouted as many people began to panic.Rafe and the others tried to help calm down the audience.As for me,I ran toward Lucario to calm him down.

"Lucario!Snap out of it!"I shouted as he hurled an Aura Sphere toward me.I was hit,but not hurt.

Soren was helping calm everyone down.He looks guilty and can't look at me straight in the eye.

:Stay away!Leave me and my mother alone!:Lucario shouted via telepathy.Mother?

Maybe he's not just confused.He must be having a flash back.I stared at Lucario and saw tears runs down his eyes.He was blindly fighting and shouting.He was lost in a nightmare.

"Lucario!"I ran toward him,dodging his Aura Spheres.He then used Force Palm on me.Now it hurts,but just a little.He then used Bone Rush.I dodged and ran as he chased me with the bone.I have to find a way to end this.

I felt myself being hit in the face by a powerful Blaze Kick.I was sent flying and I crashed to a wall.I grunted in pain and stood up.I tasted something odd inside my mouth.Blood.I was horrified and wiped some blood off my mouth.

I found a pole and began blocking Lucario's attacks with it.Chase and the others ran toward me to help,but I shook my head.

"Leave it....To me!"I shouted as I fought against my own Pokémon,my own friend.

His bone disappeared and he was panting.I took this opportunity and calmly approached him.

He raised his head and gritted his teeth.He was about to hurl another Aura Sphere,but I grabbed him and pulled him in a tight embrace.He growled and used Aura Sphere when his paw got on my stomach.

"Sora!"I heard Ash scream.I groaned in pain.It hurts!Its like being hit in the stomach by a Snorlax's Focus Punch!

:Let....Let go of me!:Lucario shouted and bit my shoulder.I screamed out in agony this time.His teeth were as sharp as razors.Blood oozed from my shoulder.The rings on my skin began to glow.

I stroked his head."L-Lucario...Calm down.It's me,Sora."I told him.His eyes widened,but then he growled ferociously.

:You are not Sora!You look nothing like her,and she is different from you!:He growled.I sighed as he squirmed under my grasp.He bit me on the arm.I screamed again.Damn it!It hurts!More blood oozed from my arm.He kept biting my arms.I was getting dizzy due to loss of blood.This sounds bad.If I lose a lot of blood,I might faint.Or worse,end up in another coma.I wouldn't want that!

"It's me."I weakly took out my ocarina.He will recognise me because he knows me,from likes to dislikes and everything that I loved to do.He will know it is me by listening to the tune that I composed.

I began to play while holding him.This is the song that I composed after I was separated from my friends.Everyday,I play it.Gardevoir dances,the others play while Lucario just sits down and listen to it.He told me that it was his most favorite song and always ask me to play it for him.He gasped and his eyes widened.

:That....That tune:He told me.

He calmed down and realised who I was.I smiled as his eyes widened with shock when he saw my wounds.

:Sora!What have I done?!:He asked and examined my wounds.Blood covered his paws and he stared at it with horror.He was frantic and almost fainted.

Everyone sighed with relief when they saw that he has calmed down.My friends ran toward me.

"Sora!"Max ran toward me.

Everyone looked at me worriedly while Soren can't look at me straight in the eye.

"Sora,are you okay?"Lilian asked.I was wounded and covered in blood while Lucario was scared to death and tired.Guess there's only one thing to do.

"I'm okay.But I think I will forfeit today."I told them and rubbed my wounded stomach.Oh Arceus!It hurts!

Lilian nodded her head."We understand.But Soren is disqualified for causing all this."She explained.Soren nodded while I shook my head.I totally disagree with that idea!

"No!He must continue on with the contest.He did that by accident!"I protested weakly.

"I deserve it!I caused all of this!I must accept it!"Soren argued back.We continued arguing,none of us ready to lose the argument.Sheesh.He's very stubborn.I sighed and placed both hands on his shoulders.He was surprised,then he blushed crimson red.I smiled softly.

"Please.Do it.For me."I told him.He hung his head and sighed.

"Alright.If it means that much to you."He gave up.I smiled and hugged him.I soon felt dizzy and swayed,fighting for balance.Everything went black and I fell in Soren's arms.

(Soren's POV):

I furiously made my way toward an empty room.The contest is over,with May being the victor.

I took out a laptop and typed a few things on it.A man appeared on screen,about fifteen years or more older than me.I gritted my teeth.

"I'm done!I did what you wanted me to do,but you never said anything about her receiving more pain than usual!She's wounded,weak and her Lucario almost committed suicide after he recovered!"I spat at him,remembering how bad Sora felt back at the hospital.

She was speechless when she saw her Lucario in pain.She and her Lucario almost died.And its all because of me and those (begins to say inappropriate and horrible things) crooks who forced me to do this.

"Not yet.There is one more thing is needed to be done."He told me with his wicked grin.I swear,if I got that bastard right in my hands,I'm gonna kill him.

"What is it?"I asked him angrily."I already did something that almost killed her!What more do you want?!"I shouted.

"Calm down.Remember,those who you cared for are with me.Their lives are at my own hands,and if you make one wrong move,you'll end up like Keyheart:pained and desperate over the loss of her family."He told me.I tightened my fists,my nails digging deeply into my skin.

"Alright!Alright!Do what you want!"I screamed.

I have no choice.I don't want Sora to get hurt,nor have those who I cared for get hurt.Life is just so unpredictable,you sometimes lose options.

(Sora POV):

I glanced at my Lucario.He was gazing out the window,thinking.He has never been this silent,not even for a few minutes.I began to worry.He was shouting about his mother during our battle with Soren.Did somethin happened in the past?I'll ask him later,after I deal with this.A while ago,after he recovered,he almost killed himself by jumping out the window.He was guilty,guilty that he almost killed me.

My Cyndaquil was sleeping beside me.She let out a yawn when she woke up and looked at me worriedly.

"Cyndaquil.Will you get my bag for me?"I requested and lifted my hand,pointing toward a bag on top of the drawer.She nodded and ran toward it.She ran back to me with the bag.

I sent out all of my Pokémon,except for Rayquaza.He's in the ozone layer.They were all looking at me worriedly.

:Sora!You're okay!:Latias exclaimed and hugged me.I smiled.

"Yes.I just received a few wounds."I assured them."Oh.Will you cheer up Lucario over there?He seems down."I told them.They nodded and started a conversation with him.

Meanwhile,Rafe and the twins entered the room.

"Ash and the others left."Rafe informed me.I nodded.

They don't want to leave,but I told them they have more important stuff to do and I will be able to leave the hospital the day after tomorrow.They made me promise that we would meet again.Of course,we would meet again.I will never break that promise.

"And someone's here to visit."Audrey smiled as a familiar silver-haired trainer revealed himself from behind her.I smiled.

"Brendan!"I exclaimed as he hugged me."What brings you here?I thought you are with your father."I asked him.He nodded.

"Two reasons.First of all,I managed to complete the Hoenn Pokédex with your help.My father's dream was fulfilled!"He grinned and showed me a certificate that proves that he us telling us the truth.I grinned back.

"I'm so happy for you!"I exclaimed.

"Yeah!I was able to get more information about Deoxys,Jirachi,Groudon,Kyogre,Latios,Latias and Rayquaza!Its all thanks to you,Ash and the others!After completing it,I can travel in Kanto to know more about the Pokémon world!"He told me.

I'm so happy for them!Completing the Pokédex is one of their lifelong goals!

"Awesome!So what's number two?"I asked him.He grinned again.

"I heard about the contest.So,what kind of accident is it this time?"He asked me.I laughed and explained Lucario's confusion.He took out a pen and notebook.

"What is that?"Kathryn asked and peered at the notebook.Its pages were filled with his writings.I gasped.Is that what I think it looks like?Not the book of accidents!Not in front of Rafe and the others!

"My list of Sora's accidents.I record all of Sora's accidents when we were seven.Right now,this is accident number...uh..."He flipped through the pages."Accident number sixty.New record!"He told me sarcastically.I grinned sheepishly as Rafe and the twins eyes widened.

"Accident number sixty?!"The twins asked at the same time.I hope I can get out of this alive.

"Yeah.Most were just twisted ankles,broken elbows and stuff."Brendan told them.I gave him a look that says 'Brendan,you idiot!Wait until I get my hands on you!'.He just ignored it,enjoying my torment."She's just like a ball of energy back then."He added.This is so embarrassing!

"Sixty accidents!And you managed to survive in one piece after all that!"Kathryn exclaimed.Arceus,help me!I'm going to have a lecture about accidents.I saw Lucario look guilty at every time 'accident' is mentioned.

"Can we change the subject?All this stuff about accident is making Lucario feel bad."I whispered and glanced at Lucario.He was still quiet.The others nodded.I felt relieved.Glad it is all over.

"Me and Audrey caught a Butterfree and Beautifly!"Kathryn exclaimed.I smiled and listened to their stories.Brendan told us he is going to travel with us.I can't help but smile in a goofy manner while Audrey and Kathryn tell us stories.
