The next chapter is going to be the last! :'(

I'm feeling a bit sad.Before we start the chapter,I would like to remind you to get ready to play two songs.One is Ameagari Angelic Layer 2nd Ending and Tales of the Abyss Grand Fonic Hymn.I promise,you'll love those songs!They sometimes make me cry or makes me fall asleep because of the peaceful melodies. :3

Sora was thrown in front of Giovanni,her hands binded by ropes.She wriggled,struggling to get up."Long time no see,Dragoness."Giovanni smirked.Sora shot him a glare.

"Let me go."She demanded.Giovanni's smirk grew.

"Or what?"No response,so he turned his back on her and gazed at the trainers.They stopped fighting once they saw Sora held as hostage.They were all enraged,but they kept calm.If they make one wrong move,she'll get hurt.

Giovanni held the Fang and looked up to the sky.It's turning red,and the eclipse is starting to occur.He turned toward Sora and cut her flesh on Sora's arm with the Fang,soaking it in blood.Sora groaned in pain.Giovanni turned his back on her and gazed up at the eclipse,the blood red sky signalling it's time.He then stabbed the Fang to the ground.The ground began to glow as Sora's blood oozed from the Fang,forming a small,red symbol:the crest of Deagron.The eclipse began,the moon's shadow almost hiding it as Giovanni began to chant the spell.

"Shi wa,watashi wa watashitachi ga sekai o shihai shinakereba naranai!Watashi wa Deagron no jiyū o motomeru shisha no kuni e no mon o hiraku tame ni anata ni ko bu!"

Translation:Death,we call upon you to open up the Gates to the Land of the Dead!I ask for the freedom of Deagron so we shall rule the world!

Giovanni chanted.The Fang glowed,and a hole replaced the moon's umbra.The hole released a powerful cyclone.

"Open the gates to the Land of the Dead!"Giovanni shouted to the heavens.A large dragon emerged out of the moon's shadow.It was larger than Rayquaza,Kyogre and Groudon combined!Sora gasped.It's...It's Deagron,the Pokémon that was more powerful than Dradian.

"Sora!"Rafe ran toward her.He covered Sora with his body just as Deagron used a powerful Ember attack by accident.Rafe was hit,but he was glad Sora was okay.

"Rafe!"Sora exclaimed,her eyes watering seeing Rafe get hurt.Rafe shook his head and cut the ropes using a sharp-edged stone he found.Sora stood up immediately when she was released."Look out!"She pulled Rafe,their faces almost bumping into each other.They ducked just in time to avoid a powerful Dragon Breath.Sora's face reddened,so did Rafe's,but they instantly stood up.

"Finally!Deagron,you have fully awakened!Now,crush those trainers and let them know who the real rulers are!"Giovanni ordered,satsified that its all going according to his plan.After Deagron destroys the trainers,except for Sora and the Chosen One,he'll force them to summon the dragon trio,and they will all soon be his.

But Deagron refused to follow his orders.He roared and fired a large Aura Sphere at Giovanni,knocking him unconscious.He then caught sight of Sora and Rafe and used Dragon Breath.

They dashed away from Deagron,who was now having a fight with Rayquaza and the eons.One powerful Ice Beam sent them flying and they crashed to the ground.

"Rayquaza!Latios,Latias!"Sora ran to her Pokémon.The others were shocked.Rayquaza and the eons were the most powerful Pokémon they know,even stronger than all their Pokémon combined.Deagron was able to beat them with one blow."Guys,are you alright?"She asked and knelt down next to Latias.

:W-we're fine.Please,go.H-he's after you!:Latias exclaimed weakly.

"No."Sora replied firmly.May was almost hit by an Aura Sphere,but Drew was able to protect her by pushing her.Drew was hit in the face,blood oozing from his nose.

"Drew!"May sbouted and stood up.Drew smirked and shook his head.

"I'm fine.Get out of the way before you get hit."He told her and turned toward his Pokémon."Flygon,use Dragon Breath!Absol,use Razor Wind!"He ordered.Deagron easily deflected the attacks,then he charged toward Sora,but was stopped by Rayquaza.He started hurling Aura Spheres in random direction.

"Sora,you have to run!Deagron is after you!"Takeo shouted,blocking an Aura Sphere with his pole.He then turned to his Salamence and two Lunatone."Salamence,Flamethrower!Yue,Koray,use Psybeam!"

"Now,use Blizzard!"Silver ordered his Weavile.

"Archee,use Flamethrower!"Crystal shouted.

"You too,Explotaro!"Gold ordered."Sora,you have to run now!"He ordered firmly at Sora.

Sora gritted her teeth.She's not going to run away while her friends are in danger.She took out Dradian's Fang and took a deep breath,because she's going to do the craziest thing in the world,even crazier than jumping from a plane 1000ft. off the ground unequipped with just a small pillow waiting for you.

"Sora,don't you ever do something like that."Rafe warned,as if he's reading her thoughts.Sora shook her head and sprinted toward Deagron.

"Sora,don't!"May shouted,but Sora barely heard her.

:Foolish girl!You know better than to pick a fight with me!You humans shall pay!:Pay?Pay for what?Sora can't understand what he's talking about.She decided to try to connect with Deagron's heart with the Dragon's Song and closed her eyes.

"Tue Rei Ze Croa Riou Tue Zei."Sora felt a light-blue aura surround her.Her eyes opened,she can feel it,she can feel Deagron's emotions.They were a mixture of hate,desperation,pain and anger for some reason.He's angry at the humans,angry at everyone.

"Deagron.....Why are you-"She was cut off by a powerful roar.

:It's none of your business!You humans shall be brought to justice!You took away everything from me:my brother,my sister,everything!Because of you,they hate me!:Deagron roared.Sora was taken aback.

"No.We didn't."She answered calmly.

:You're lying!You selfish creatures do not deserve to live!:He answered,his nostrils almost flaring.Sora got it now:he must have misunderstood the humans.He felt as if he wasn't loved by anyone,but he was wrong.Sora was now dangerously near Deagron.

"Sora!Don't go near him!"Rafe shouted and ran after her.When he reached her,Sora was reaching out her hand to touch Deagron.

"You are not alone.We aren't selfish.We didn't take away everything from you.You just need someone who loves you."Sora whispered slowly to Deagron.The large dragon froze,his expression softened.Why is she being kind to him?No one has treated him like this,his sister can be stern,but she cares for him,the same goes to Arceus but he's more strict than Dradian.His expression hardened when he thought she's trying to trick him.

:You foolish girl!:He shouted as he used Aura Sphere.Sora was hit by the face,but she didn't move,nor show any expression.She just smiled.

"Deagron,you just have to learn how to love."Sora told him cheerfully.Deagron's face hardened.Such a stupid human girl!Does she have any idea who she's dealing with?

Sora continued to smile and gripped Rafe's hand.He nodded."Deagron,we are not your enemy."Rafe assured him.

Deagron's eyes widened.He sensed some emotions from the two that he can't understand.He felt as if the two are willing to risk their lives for each other,protect each other and be with each other.What is that feeling?He remembered his sister mentioned something about love.Is this it?

Deagron felt as if he was never loved.He was usually alone,his sister is watching over the humans while Arceus is always making sure the Pokémon,the humans,are well provided with everything they need.They were the reason he doesn't spend time with his siblings.Arceus soon made them Guardians,hoping that Deagron would understand the world better.But the people respected Arceus and Dradian more and ignored him.He grew jealous,sick and tired of being alone and ignored,and wasn't able to control his anger,so he tricked the people of Michina town so they would lose respect for Arceus,but the plan failed.They almost killed him,and Deagron avoided his sister because of guilt,but she saw through him.Dradian pleaded at Deagron to help wake up Arceus,but he refused,afraid to face his sworn brother.He threw a fit,letting everything that he feels out.Dradian fled,but soon returned with the incomplete Guardian's Song,resulting their deaths.

Deagron shook his head.The humans must pay!He roared.Rain began to fall as he used Rain Dance.The drops poured down mercilessly,the others who were watching tried to cover themselves.

Deagron can't take it anymore.He used Outrage,almost killing the trainers' Pokémon who tried to stop him.He's going to end this,once and for all.First,he has to deal with the two teenagers in front of him.He opened his mouth,getting ready to use a very powerful Dragon Pulse.He's got them cornered on the edge,if they take one step back,they'll fall.

'Damn!'Rafe thought as he tried to find a way to get out,but there's none.He almost slipped because of the wet,slippery surface.Deagron got ready to strike,he's going to kill the girl first.

"Sora!"Rafe jumped in the way.He's not going to allow Sora to get hurt again,never.He can't take it,he's not going to lose her a second time.He pulled her in a tight embrace,blocking the Dragon Pulse.Sora froze in horror as she felt blood ooze from Rafe's back.No...Not Rafe...Not now...

"Brother!"The twins screamed,trying to run to their brother,but they were held back by Chase and the others.

"Get down!"Chase shouted and they all ducked just in time to avoid an Aura Sphere.Tears streaked down their eyes as they watched both Rafe and Sora suffer.

Rafe held Sora tight,his eyes almost watering.Sora sobbed,feeling his blood mixed with her tears and raindrops on her arms as Deagron continued to attack,but only hits Rafe.

"R-Rafe.No....No..."Sora whimpered.Rafe's hands slowly let her go,he smiled softly,a smile that is rare.He collapsed,and fell unconsciously from the edge of the tower.Sora's eyes widened."No!"She shouted,thunder roaring as she screamed,and jumped down without thinking.She's not going to let him die,but if he's going to die,she'll die with him.

The air whipped her long,damp hair and she folded her arms and legs to reach Rafe.

"Rafe!"Sora shouted.The world around her slowed down as she desperately reached for his hand.Rain poured on her face,giving her a hard time reaching Rafe.

Her hand touched Rafe's,and she pulled him.They were both positioned head down to the ground,and Sora was sure they are about to reach ground in a couple of seconds,maybe minutes.Sora embraced Rafe,burying her face in his blood-stained chest as she began to sob.

"R-Rafe.W-why...Why do you have to do this?!"Sora sobbed as she squeezed him tighter.Her wet hair almost covered her face,and she find it hard to get them out of the way because of the wind.She suddenly felt Rafe's hand brush aside her bangs with his hand.She gazed at Rafe,who was still half-awake.

"Sora...."He murmured.Sora felt more tears stream down her face.

"Why?"She sobbed harder.Rafe smiled as their foreheads and the tips of their noses touched.

"I can't stand seeing you hurt.I can't lose you a second time."He whispered to her.Sora shook her head,trying to smile for him.

"I don't actually mind getting hurt.....As long as...."Sora burst into tears.She felt as if her eyes were like a dam that was about to break,it finally broke and let all the water out."I don't mind being hurt as long as you guys are safe!"She sobbed harder.Rafe kissed her nose,to her surprise.She blushed.

"I'm sorry for what I have done before.I caused more pain to you......Because of my blindness."He whispered,his wet hair almost covering his eyes."I'm sorry for everything.So the least I can do is risk my life for you.The truth is,"He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.He is going to say it right now,no turning back."I-I love you.I love the way you smile,the way you always laugh innocently,the way you perform in contests,the way you argue with me,everything."He whispered almost slowly,feeling the heavy feeling in his chest disappear.He felt free after he confessed,he can't hide his feelings any longer.Sora froze,unable to utter a single word.Then her lips curved up into a smile.

"I love you...."He repeated for her to hear.Sora's smile grew wide,but faded when she saw Rafe's eyes flutter."If I die and you make it out alive..."He murmured."Please take care of my sisters."He told her.Sora wanted to cry so badly,but not a single tear leaked out.It was as if she ran out of tears.So all she could do was embrace Rafe,because they are almost a few feet above ground.

A lot of people crowded around.They looked shocked when they saw Rafe and Sora.The brunette felt one last tear roll down her eyes.'Rafe,I'll never let you go.Never.We'll die together.'She thought.'Never.'She wanted this to last forever,just so she could be with Rafe,but it can't.It's all over.

E N D O F S O N G

:Your friends need you!:Sora's eyes slowly opened.Jirachi....He's calling for her.

:Do not give up!:Dradian's voice echoed inside her head.Sora suddenly felt as if she grew stronger.She smiled softly,realizing there's still hope.

She suddenly stopped midair with Rafe before they reached the ground.Sora gasped and looked behind her.A pair of beautiful blue angel wings were on her back,glowing brightly.The crowd stared in awe as the brunette spread her wings,glowing brighter than ever.The rain stopped,replaced by the moonlight.

:Let my wings guide you.And you can conquer all who stand in your path:Dradian's voice told her.Sora held onto Rafe as they both rose up to the sky.Her friends froze when they caught sight of her.

Sora held the unconscious Rafe and gently placed him on the floor near his sisters.Her friends stared at her,mesmerized because of the wings.She looked very beautiful,like an angel that came to save them.

Sora then turned to face Deagron,who was frozen with shock."Deagron,your time is now!"Sora held Dradian's Fang.

:Please use the spell on him.Tell him I need him,convince him to join me.I want to be with my brother:Dradian pleaded at her.Sora smiled.

"Deagron,your sister needs you.She wants to be with you......."Sora told him."She loves you."Deagron's eyes widened.

:She....needs me???:He asked in utter disbelief.After seeing what Sora and Rafe have done,he thought about it over and over.Is that the meaning of love?To be with the person you love 'til the very end?Deagron realized after he saw Sora with the wings.They made him realize what love is.

'No!'He shook his head.'Do not fall for those petty humans' words!'

Sora could see tears rolling down his face.He must have gone through a lot of suffering,a lot of pain and anger.She flew toward him,Fang ready to stab into his chest.

"Deagron.I shall help end your suffering!"She shouted.She spread her wings,glowing brightly.Deagron averted his gaze from Sora,trying to avoid getting blind.But Sora was already in front of him.He almost smiled.He underestimated these humans.

:You humans are not so bad:He smirked.Sora smiled and plunged the Fang in his chest.

Sora began to glow brighter as she repeated the song.Deagron also began to glow as he slowly closed his eyes.

:Humans.....Are strange creatures.I cannot understand them at times:Deagron murmured before falling asleep.He turned into a ball of light and Sora raised her right arm to the sky.The eclipse still hasn't ended,so Deagron can return to the Land of the Dead.

The ball floated up,then entered the hole in the moon.'Thank you....'A voice echoed inside Sora's head.She smiled and turned to her friends,who were taking care of Rafe.She knelt down next to him and allowed her wings to cover Rafe.She closed her eyes as she used the Guardian's Lullaby.

(Play the Hymn again)

Sora smiled as memories flooded inside her head like a river.The day she first met Rafe,the day he and his sisters told her they are going to travel with her and so on.She loved every second of it.

Rafe's eyes slowly opened and his wounds disappeared.He saw Sora,his angel.She was singing a beautiful song,the Guardian's Lullaby.She looked beautiful with her wings,she's always beautiful.He loved her so much just as he loved his sisters,and he can't bear to watch Sora get hurt.She's had enough suffering.

He slowly sat up,then he pulled Sora in a tight embrace."Sora...."He murmured.His sister's cried tears of joy,glad that they're brother is safe and hugged him.Everyone smiled,glad that Rafe is safe.

"Rafe....I-I....I thought I lost you."Sora cried on his shoulder.She pulled back,wiped her tears,then she punched him on the face.Everyone froze,but sighed when Sora smiled."You scared me!"She shouted,half angrily,half playfully.Rafe smiled,then pecked her left cheek.Sora froze while the twins high-fived.

"Hmmm.You looked adorable when you're worried and when you're hair is wet."He smirked.Sora blushed.

"S-shut up!"She held her nose up in the air.Rafe's face turned serious.

"So,what's your answer?"He asked seriously.Sora gave him a cold stare,causing him to feel a bit hurt,then she tackled him to the ground playfully.

"I love you too."She smiled.Takeo smiled,feeling a bit hurt,but he's not going to be selfish.If Sora's happy,he's happy.Chase was thinking of the same thing.

'I'm glad you found your happiness,you deserve it.'They thought.

May sighed dreamily and felt her hand touch Drew's.She blushed and tried pulled back her hand,but Drew grabbed her hand and turned toward her."You alright,May?"He asked.May just smiled.

"Yeah.Thanks for saving me."She thanked him.Drew could feel himself blush,but he tried to hide it.

Sora smiled at Drew."I guess you have proven yourself."She smirked at the green-head.

She helped Rafe stand up,then she turned to her friends."Finally!It's all over!"She shouted,but was interrupted by a Shadow Ball that hit her on the back.She turned around.

"Not yet."Giovanni smirked.A lot of Team Rocket grunts surrounded them.

Sora cursed under her breath.There's too many,and Rayquaza and the others were tired.

"Lucario,Gardevoir,can you guys still fight?"She asked them.

:I'm fine.We have to protect you:Gardevoir stood up,followed by Lucario,Latios,Latias,Rayquaza,Flareon,and everyone's Pokémon.Sora gritted her teeth.

There's too many,and they have to fight to keep themselves safe.If their Pokémon are fighting,Sora must join her friends."Ready,Takeo?"She asked the Lunar Warrior.He took out another metal pole and handed it to Sora.

"If they are fighting,we'll join our friends."Takeo told her.Sora nodded.

"I'll join."A voice said from behind.They turned around and saw Soren and Draco holding poles as weapons.

"Me too."Draco offered with a smirk."Stay behind us,Princess Sora."

Sora smirked."Sometimes I want to slam your face with a metal chair,but let's pass."She shrugged."Guys,get ready to fight!"
