(Sora's POV):

Rayquaza,the eons and the other fliers patiently waited in front of us as we got ready to fly up.I strapped my bag on my right shoulder and got on Rayquaza.Audrey was on Latias' back while Kathryn was with Takeo on Salamence,Rafe got on Latios,Brendan was on his Flygon,Silver was on his Honchkrow,and Gold and Crystal was on Togebo.

"Crys,you might want to hold on to me tight."Gold winked,earning a whack on the head.I giggled as the gold-eyed trainer rubbed his head.

"You guys ready?"I interrogated as my Cyndaquil jumped inside my bag to take a nap.They all answered with a simple nod.I nodded back and patted Rayquaza on the head,telling him its time to fly up.We were greeted by the strong,cold breeze as we rose up to the sky.I sighed as my face got stung by the cold wind.I looked down and saw a grassy plain beneath us.Many wild Pokémon roamed around,sometimes looking up and smiling at us.

I drifted into a daze as we pass by a river.I wonder where we can find Dragon Vale.It might be hard to find,because receive little information about it from Nurse Joy.She said that Dragon Vale was located somewhere near a mountain,where many dragon types roam around.She said the road to Dragon Vale is dangerous,but I told her its not dangerous enough to stop us.

The only question is,why would Deagron want to destroy this land?Does he hold a grudge against humanity?And since when did Arceus have siblings?

I was pulled out of my thoughts when suddenly,a giant ball of fire almost hit me.I screamed as me and Rayquaza backed away.

"Sora,watch out!"Brendan screamed.I almost fell off Rayquaza,good thing I kept a tight grip on him.He roared as we avoided more balls of fire.

"Rayquaza,use Dragon Pulse!"I ordered.A powerful pulse was released from Rayquaza.I kept a firm grip so I won't fall off.The fireballs were pushed away by the pulse.

"Let's hurry!"I heard Rafe shout.I nodded as me and Rayquaza tried to protect the others while they try to escape.Our path was blocked by a lot of dragon type Pokémon.On their backs are men wearing heavy armors.

"Hey!What's the big idea?!"Gold shouted,obviously annoyed.They ignored him,annoying him even more,and turned their attention toward me.They peered at me closely,whispering to each other and seemed intrested in me.Might be because I'm riding on Rayquaza.The emerald dragon growled at them.

"Are you Sora Keyheart?"The one riding a Charizard asked.He has spiky,smoky black hair and spiky bangs that reached near his eyes,his eyes are electric blue and seems to dazzle whenever someone gazes at them.He seems a bit older than us,maybe fourteen or fifteen.Another thing,he's pretty dreamy.I could almost hear the twins squealing and whispering.I nodded as I patted Rayquaza on the head to tell him it's all right.

"Yes,I am."I answered.They all smirked and their dragons roared.

"Then I challenge you and your Rayquaza,Latios and Latias to a battle!"He shouted.

I nodded with a grin.If he wants a battle,he'll get one.I'm not going to turn down his challenge."Where should we start?"I asked.He pointed beneath us.I looked down and saw a large field.It was filled with ash and the trees around it are dead and dry.I nodded.

"Let's go!"I shouted.We all descended down to the field.The teenager jumped down his Charizard and patted it on the back.The Charizard roared and took its place on the battlefield.

I grinned.Charizard might be a tough opponent,he might know dragon type moves yet he's not a dragon type.This is going to be a good battle.

"I'll start with Charizard.Who's your choice?"The teenager asked me.I turned toward Latios.He nodded and flew in front of me.

"I'll go with Latios."I stated.He nodded.

"Ladies first."He smiled at me politely.Woah.At least he's a gentleman.

"Latios,let's start off with Luster Ball!"I shouted.Latios screeched as he sent out a dark ball toward the Charizard.He then released a powerful blast of psychic energy that pushed the ball with such force.It came toward Charizard so fast it wasn't able to dodge.His trainer gasped in surprise,causing me to smirk."Now,use Thunderbolt!"

Latios released a powerful bolt of electricity that struck the Charizard.It roared in pain and fell down the ground."Charizard!"Its trainer shouted.It struggled to get up,but its head drooped down in exhaustion and fell down with a heavy thud.The men in armor gasped.

"Impossible!How can she easily defeat Prince Draco with just two hits?"Prince Draco?Is that his name?

"She's strong,alright.So the news are not just gossips,they're true."One muttered,but we all heard him clearly.The teenager who I identified as Draco retrieved his Charizard,thanking it for its hard work.He turned toward me.

"You really are strong.But are you strong enough to beat me and Kingdra?"He asked as he sent out a powerful looking Kingdra.

"Latios,return to the sidelines.I'm using Latias."I ordered.Latios nodded and floated toward the others while his sister got ready for battle.I decided to let him go first,but he politely declines and told me to go first.

The battle took quite a while,but soon I emerged victorious with Latias.The next battle was Draco's Gyarados against Rayquaza.The battle was a short one,with me and Rayquaza emerging victorious.Draco smiled as he retrieved his Gyarados.He ran toward me and shook my hand.

"That's a great battle.I can tell that you're Pokémon has developed a special bond with you,which is why you won easily."He told me.I almost blushed at the compliment.

"Thanks."I retrieved the dragons."You guys were awesome.You deserve a good rest."I smiled at the three Pokéballs in my hands and stuffed them in my bag.I turned toward my friends."How about we take a break?Our Pokémon must be tired from dodging the flames."Draco rubbed the back of his head nervously after I finished.

"About that,sorry.We thought it was a wild Rayquaza,but we were wrong.I hope you forgive us for launching fireballs at you.By the way,my name is Prince Draco.It's nice to meet you."He bowed.I guess he is a prince.

"Nice to meet you,too.It's okay.We're all fine,so no hard feelings."I smiled at him.He nodded and sighed with relief.

"How about we head to Dragon Vale so you could all take a break and recover your Pokémon?"He suggested.Our faces lit up.Did he just say Dragon Vale?We're really near Dragon Vale?

"We're in Dragon Vale?"Takeo was the first one to ask.Draco nodded.

"Yes."He answered.This is my chance.I can ask him about Dradian and Deagron.They might know the answers.I rummaged inside my bag and took out the Fang.

"Do you know anything about Dradian?She told me to go here."I showed the Fang to him.His eyes widened.

"You found Dradian's Fang!Where did you get it?"He asked as he examined the Fang closely,making sure its not fake.

"A guy who calls himself the Masked Thief dropped this.After I picked it up,it started to glow and Dradian started to speak."I explained."I told her that....I was the one who wields the power to use the Seven Songs of the Guardian's Lullaby.She told me that humanity is in danger,I must find the Chosen One,go to Dragon Vale and find all Seven Songs before the Red Eclipse.She said I must not allow Deagron to resurrect,for he will bring utter chaos and destruction."I repeated Dradian's words.

Draco clutched the Fang."Are you really the Guardian?Please,sing all the Songs that you know,I wanted to make sure."I nodded.

I closed my eyes as my mind was filled with symbols I don't know,but strangely,I was able to understand them.I started to glow and the streak on my bangs started to change color.Still blue at the First Song,emerald at the Second Song and crimson at the Fifth Song.

"Tue rei ze croa riou tue ze

Croa riou ze tue riou rei nue riou ze

Va nue va rei va nue va ze rei."

Draco and his people were shocked."She's the Guardian!The prophecy is true!"One exclaimed.

Draco shook his head,waking himself from his daze."You....You're the Guardian!My father must know!"He exclaimed excitedly.He grabbed my hand and pulled me."You have to meet my father!He'll tell you everything that he knows about Dradian's tale!"

I sweatdropped.For a prince,he easily gets excited.I turned toward my friends.They were throwing confused glances at me,but I responded with a shrug.

The walk to Dragon Vale was quite short,so we reached the place in a short amount of time.Dragon type Pokémon run around,chasing and playfully fighting each other.I ducked just in time to avoid a powerful Dragon Breath from an Altaria.I heard Draco and his men chuckle.

"You better get used to these,my Lady."Draco stated with a smile.I blushed.He called me 'my lady'?That's too much!It's kind of embarrassing.

We soon arrived near a bridge.An island was ahead of us.This must be Dragon Vale.I was so busy looking around that I didn't noticed that we arrived inside a castle.I snapped out of my thoughts when Draco quickly let go of my arm,making me jump with surprise.

"Father!"Draco exclaimed and ran toward a man who I think might be the king.He looks like Draco,except he has a long beard,so he really is Draco's father.The man smiled and patted Draco on the shoulder.

"I see you brought some visitors,my son.May I ask who they are?"He asked with a warm smile that is similar to Draco's.

"Dad,she's the girl who owns Rayquaza and the eons."The king's eyes widened.

"You mean....She's really Sora Keyheart?"He asked,glancing at me.I nodded.

"Yeah.She came here to ask about Dradian's Fang.She's the one who found the Fang."He handed the Fang to the king.The king examined the Fang."Dad,she has proven that she's the Chosen Guardian.The prophecy is true."

"What?!"The king asked,staring at me in utter disbelief.I sighed.Guess I have a lot of explanation to do.

After I explained everything to the king,he stared at me.At first,he didn't believe his son's words,but after I sang the three Songs,his jaw dropped to the ground.At last,he recovered from his shock.He placed a hand on my shoulder."Sora,let me show you something.Follow me."He walked ahead of us.

I followed him.Rafe and the twins walked beside me while the others tagged behind us.I sighed.

"I wonder what is going to happen if Deagron is resurrected.I wanted to know more."I whispered,not sure if they can hear me.It kept bothering me.Where will I find this Chosen One?What is my task as Guardian?What if the task given to me is dangerous?What if I die again?Will I be able to protect my friends?

I snapped out when I felt the twins' small hands slip into mine.They gripped my hands,smiling at me warmly."Sora,"Kathryn spoke softly.

"We'll be fine.We're here for you."The twins said at the same time.Their words repeated in my head.I guess they heard me.I know they are always here with me to protect me,but who will protect them if we are all in danger?I won't forgive myself if they end up like my sisters.

"I-I know...It's just.....I won't be able to forgive myself if anything happens to you guys."I told them slowly.I don't want to lose people who are dear to me.I already lost my parents,my siblings and Soren.It's just-I.....

"Don't think like that!"Rafe suddenly blurted out.I gasped in surprise as his brown eyes stared intensely at my sapphire ones.I found myself lost in those eyes."Sora,we will always be there for you.We won't leave you."He assured me.I could have sworn there's a hint of softness in his tone.His eyes softened and he turned his head the other way to avoid eye contact with me."Always remember that.You're our friend."I heard him whisper.

I nodded.But still......

"We're here!"Draco's shout interrupted us.I jumped in surprise.My eyes widened as I found ourselves inside a beautiful temple.

The pillars were made of marble and has ivies growing around it.The staircase that leads to the entrance were also made of marble,even the walls.It kind of reminds me of an ancient Greek temple.

"This is the temple of Dradian."The king explained as we entered the temple.A large,stone statue was displayed in the middle of the hall we entered.

It was a statue of a beautiful and graceful dragon type Pokémon.Her head was perfectly shaped and aristocratic,with a slender horn on her forehead.Her wings were also beautiful,it was a bit feathery,like angel and dragon wings combined.Her tail was gracefully long and slender.Her feet were also perfectly shaped and her claws look delicate,but if you look closely,they look sharp enough to slice ten trees at once.Her large,sharp teeth were barely visible.A majestic crest was on her chest.

"This is a statue of Dradian,The Dragon Guardian."Wow.I never knew that Dradian is very beautiful."She was the younger sister of Arceus and Deagron.She was a kind and gentle creature,always willing to risk her life to save those in need.And this,"Draco pointed at another statue on the opposite side."This is a statue of Deagron."

The statue of Deagron was like a combination of Arceus and Dradian,except he looks evil.His eyes were staring coldly at us.His forked tongue stuck out between his razor sharp teeth,his claws look sharp enough to slice through almost anything and his wings look like a pair of Golbat wings that have sharp edges.He seems to wear metal armor,he might be a steel/dragon type Pokémon.

"Deagron,the death dragon.He was a selfish and cruel Pokémon that only sees us humans as simple inferiors,he thought we don't deserve to live in this world Arceus created.He refused to listen to Arceus and Dradian,he only does what he wants.He serves as the Guardian of the Land of the Dead,but was replaced by Deamon after he passed away along with Dradian."

I feel a bit angered.Why would Deagron deems us unworthy of living in this world?

"Will you tell us more about them?More about the Songs and the Guardian?Is it true that they can awaken Arceus if formed into a whole song?"I asked.Draco and the king nodded their heads.

"The Song has many purposes.It can awaken Arceus if formed into one song and with the help of the Key of the Three Dimensions.If it is divided into seven,each Song allows the user to link minds with a Pokémon depending on its type,allowing the user to befriend it.It can put someone into a deep sleep if the target is stabbed with Dradian's Fang while using the Seven Songs.The Song can also heal,if the Wings of Enlightenment is triggered."The king explained.One word:Woah.I never knew that just a song can do so many things.Its just.....

Will I be able to handle it all?

"Will you tell us about the story of Arceus,Dradian and Deagron?"Crystal's voice pulled me out of my trance.I have to focus,this is important!

"Long ago,Arceus,Dradian and Deagron are born in the darkness in the forms of three eggs.The first one to hatch is Arceus,the second is Dradian and the third is Deagron.They aren't really siblings,but they are sworn siblings."Draco explained.

"Arceus created the world,the first Pokémon and the first humans that roamed the land.He created the fire types that would roam the fiery places,the water types that would swim happily in the seas,oceans and rivers,the flying type that would bring joy with their flights and songs,the poison types that would feed on the waste and maintain a clean world (A/N:I don't know if that's true,so let's say that's the purpose of poison types),the wise psychic types that would assist the humans,the powerful fighting and dragon types that would protect the world,the graceful fairy types that would make sure the Land is filled with happiness,the ghost types that would guard the undead,the dark types that roam the night,the ground types that would help the humans maintain healthy soil,the strong rock types that roam the mountains and caves,the grass types that would help keep a beautiful world,the normal types that assist humans with their work,the steel types,the electric types and the beautiful ice types.All of them are created to keep the world a beautiful and joyful one."

"Arceus made Dradian and Deagron the guardians:Dradian,the Guardian of the Land and Deagron,the Guardian of the Land of the Dead.However,Deagron is unhappy with Arceus' decision.He thinks the humans should bow before him,but they only respected Dradian and Arceus.So,he made a plot to bring the downfall of Arceus and Dradian."The king added.

"Michina town became a wasteland,but was revived with the help of Arceus.A man named Damos was given the Jewel of Life that would keep Michina town abundant of harvest and promised to return it to Arceus.However,Deagron tricked Damos and the others that if the Jewel was returned,Michina town will once again become a wasteland.Damos betrayed Arceus and attacked him with a large army of Pokémon. After presumably killing Damos in his counterattack, Arceus went to sleep,vowing to judge all humans when it next returns based on Damos's actions."Draco told us.

"But Dradian saw through Deagron.She pleaded to help wake up Arceus and help convince him that its not the humans' fault,but Deagron refused to listen like always.Dradian was forced to flee after Deagron threw a fit.He was very powerful,probably the most powerful Pokémon in existance,and no one was able to stop him,not even Dradian.She asked for assistance from Rayquaza,Lugia,Celebi,Articuno,Moltres and Zapdos.They all discovered a spell that can stop Deagron:the Seven Songs.So,in order to stop Deagron,Dradian pulled out her fang and used the Song on Deagron,but she was saddened because no matter what Deagron did,he was still her sworn brother,she cared for him.But she failed using the spell,because she only knows six of them.The Seventh Song remains uknown of its whereabouts,and it is still a mystery to many humans.Deagron was killed,to Dradian's dismay.But before he died,he killed Dradian for revenge,vowing that he will rise again and make the humans bow down to him."The king finished.

Dradian...You risked your life and your brother's just to save us all.She truly was a Guardian.And all this time,I was a bit scared of becoming one.I was afraid of the dangers ahead of me,scared dying again,putting someone else I cared for in danger,but I know I have to do it to save everyone.

"Dradian....Was a true Guardian."I murmurred."I'll do the same.I'll take my role as Guardian and find all Seven Songs before Deagron ressurects."I declared.My friends' eyes widened.

"Sora have you lost your mind?!"Brendan asked.He grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me."We're talking about a very important and maybe dangerous situation!What is you fail?!What if something bad happens to you?!"I grinned.Brendan was always a worrywart,he always looks at the negative sides before realizing the positive ones.

"Chill out,dude."I smiled assuringly."I'll find them all.I have Rayquaza and the others,so I might be able to find them before you can say 'bingo'."I told him.'I hope.'

I know that this was a large task for someone like me,a normal thirteen year old.Okay,maybe not normal because I was kept alive by a jewel inside me.But I'm not going to give up.For Arceus,for Dradian,for my friends,for everyone.....
