Travis' POV

          We finally went to the mall to buy some new clothes for both of us. It took us a while to find some new decent clothes but we managed. We weren't carrying a lot of shopping bags since most of them were found in pne store. After we were done shopping, we thought about stopping by a pizza place for us to eat for our snack.

After we were done eating, we didn't realized how heavy that pizza was which made us very full.

"Damn, that pizza sure made us full even though it was just our snack."

"Tell me about it" I then started to feel like I was about to throw up but thankfully I didn't

"Come on Ttav, we better get going before you actually throw up here in public." Katelyn said as she rubbed my back.

I nodded and asked, "But did we buy everything?"

"Yep, looks like it. We just needed to buy a few new clothes anyway."

Just then, a voice called my name.

"Travis??"

Both Katelyn and I looked arou d to see who was calling me. I then saw a girl who was the same age as mine walking towards me. She had long blonde hair, brown eyes.

I was terrified because I knew who this girl was. And I never liked her,

"Oh no..." I mumbled.

"Travis! Its been too long. How are you sweetheart?" She said hugging me.

"Sweetheart?" Katelyn questioned worriedly.

I didn't want Katelyn to get the wrong idea so I instantly pushed Leila away from me.

I groaned in annoyance and said, "Leila, didn't I tell you to get out of my life?"

"Oh come on Travis, you didn't really meant that. Besides, you're my boyfriend."

"One, I was NEVER your boyfriend. And two, I did meant it."

I can tell Katelyn looked relieved but still asked, "Travis, who's this?"

I sighed and explained, "Katelyn, this is Leila. A few years ago, there was a Romeo and Juliet play I was in and I had the role as Romeo and Leila was my Juliet. Leila, this Katelyn. She's my girlfriend."

I honestly felt proud I get to say that Katelyn is my girlfriend.

"Girlfriend?" She scoffed and crossed her arms as she continued, "She looks more like a useless street girl to me."

"I can say the same thing to you." Katelyn backfired.

"Watch your big mouth, little lady" Leila said in annoyance.

"And you better watch how your big head thinks" Damn my Katelyn is a savage.

As the two girls argued, I had to make them stop so we wouldn't cause much of a scene.

I went between the girls and tried to make them stop.

"Okay okay thats enough. Leila just leave us alone, you know that I'll never be with you."

"Seriouly Travis? Why would you choose her? We were both chosen as Romeo and Juliet so of course we have to be an item. Plus, I obviously got the looks and beauty than her."

"Hey!" Katelyn yelled.

"Don't you see? We were meant for each other. You were just too stubborn to notice it."

"All I notice from you is your cold heart and your bad attitude."

"Aww come on baby, you don't mean that." She was about to grab my hand but my arm was pulled by Katelyn.

"Don't touch him" Katelyn said.

"You really gotta stop hogging my boyfriend away from me."

"Are you that blind to not see that my boyfriend hates you?"

"You think you're better than me, tough girl?"

Leila then slapped Katelyn on the cheek. I was shocked as I watched Katelyn hold her cheek that was slapped and hissed in pain.

"Katelyn! Are you okay?" I worriedly asked as I held her other hand.

I growled towards Leila and yelled, "What is wrong with you?! You literally just hurt her."

"Oh she'll be fine. She's useless anyway."

I was so angry and said, "Leila, we just did the play a few years ago and yet you still act as if we're a couple but we're not. Not every Romeo and Juliet actors always get to be together so just stop."

"But Travis, I-"

"No. Thats enough."

I looked back at Katelyn and whispered to her, "Lets go home."

She nodded and we walked away.

I noticed Katelyn stuck out her tongue. I also heard Leila growled and stomped her feet as she walked away.

          We then made our way to the parking area and got in the car and drove off. It was a silent ride since we really didn't want to talk about what happened back there. Surprisingly, it also became dark so I guess it was night time now.

Once we made it back home, Katelyn and I got the shopping bags and placed them inside the living room on the couch.

While Katelym was getting the clothes out of the shopping bags, I hugged behind Katelyn on the waist.

I can tell she was surprised by the sudden action since she was a bit stiff. I apologized to her,

"I'm sorry Katelyn. I'm sorry for what happened back there."

She stopped what she was doing and loosened up. She turned to face me while I was still holding her waist, and placed her hands on my arms.

"Its okay Travis. It wasn't your fault anyways."

"But she hurt you."

"And you stood up for me. I'm fine Travis, don't worry." She softly smiled and I smiled back.

I kissed her forehead and said, "I promise that I'll never let anyone hurt you: physically or mentally."

"Thanks Travis, I'll do the same thing as well. Love you.

"Love you too."

Late at night...atleast somewhere at midnight...

Leila's POV

          I was walking on the sidewalk in the city. I honestly felt heartbroken, I should be the girl dating Travis. I should be the one kissing him, sleeping with him and basically what every girl does with their boyfriend. That stupid Katelyn took him away from me and I hate her SOO much.

No one was here cuz I just wanted to eb alone. I kept mumbling myself about how much I should be Travis' girlfriend.

"Urgh, I hate Katelyn so much. If only she found soemone else than him. What does she have that I don't?!"

I then felt something grabbed on my right ankle. I jerked up and took a glance on my ankle, only to see some magic stuff there.

I fell on my back and was then dragged. I kept scrraming for help but it was no use. Damn it.

I was dragged into a dark alley way. Once I was stopped being dragged, the magical thingy was gone and I was able to get myself up.

As I got myself up, I noticed a person with a hooded cloak on. I couldn't tell who it was so I panicked as I brushed the dirt off of me. 

"W-Who are you?"

"I'd rather not say too much info about me, but you will know soon. I'm a witch."

Based on the voice, I can tell it was a girl and she sounded a bit familiar to me. And she's a witch? Kinda dangerous for me to be around with since you never know when they're good or bad.

"D-Do I know you? Are you gonna hurt me?"

"No, I'll not hurt you. And you probably  know me. Plus, I know you."

I was then terrified. Who is the person? How does she know me? And how do I know her?

"What do y-you know a-about me?"

"Your name's Leila. You played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet a few years ago. Thats when you met the man of your dreams there."

"Yeah, my boyfriend Travis got hogged by this Katelyn girl" I explained in disgust.

"Well, Travis isn't really your boyfriend, right?"

"What?! Of course he is."

"So have you two dated?"

"N-No..." I depressingly answered.

"Don't worry Leila. With my help, Travis Valkrum will all be yours and Katelyn will be no more."

"R-Really? How?"

"Hmm, I don't know. I need to make sure if you're up to the task."

"Please! I'll do anything to get Travis to be mine." I begged.

Even if it was dark, I can see that she smirked and heard her chuckled.

"Good."
