Makayla's POV

          It was night but I wanted to take a walk for myself since I needed some time to think. My aunts and I needed to find future Leila but none of us knew where they were going.

I was wearing a yellow hoodie as my hands were in the pockets. I was also wearing some light blue shorts and white shoes.

You're probably wondering, how in the world did I get these clothes? Simple, I brought my clothes here. I actually brought a backpack with me just in case.

As I was walking, I accidentally bumped into someone with brown hair and emerald eyes. Oh shoot its Uncle Vylad again!

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you."

"Its okay- Oh you're that pretty girl from yesterday. Maya, right?"

"U-Uhh yes. Umm are you some casanova or something?"

"Well not really"

"But you're literally complimenting me" I crossed my arms.

"Is it wrong for me to compliment a princess like you?" He smirked.

I instantly blushed and punched his arm.

"Ow. Tsundere much?"

"Whatever. You're Vylad right? Vylad Ro'Meave?"

"Yeah, how did you know I was a Ro'Meave?"

"Aun- I mean Aphmau and Lucinda said some stuff about you. Probably because they were shipping us yesterday."

"Umm okay then? Hey is it okay if I walk with you?"

"U-Umm s-sure I guess"

WHY AM I SAYING YES??!! Welp, can't do anything about it now.

"Great!" He smiled.

He joined me walking and all I cpuld think of is how stupid I am. I literally promised my parents I won't interact with that many people and three seems a lot(Really? Three? Welp, ok then)

"Hey you okay? You seem worried.."

"I-Its fine, I'm just not comfortable with a lot of people." I nervously said but also lied at the same time.

"Oh well thats fine. Interacting people is quite easy for me since I love to travel and meeting new people is part of it." He smiled.

"Oh well thats nice."

We then had an awkward silence until Uncle Vylad broke it.

"Do you wanna..maybe hang out sometime?"

"R-Really? Why?"

"Well you seem like a really nice person and I want to get to know you more."

"I-I'm sorry but like I said, I'm really not the type of person to be around with a lot of people" I replied.

He then walked backwards to face me and said, "C'mon it'll be fun!"

I stared at him for a bit and noticed that he was about to get hit by a light post.

"U-Uhh Vylad.. you might wanna.."

Then, he got knoxked out in the head.

"....Watch where you're going"

"Aphmau!!"  I had to say 'Aphmau' only since possibly some people qould hear me.

Aunt Aphmau opened her door,

"Oh hey Makayla. Wait, what happened to Vylad?"

"Lets just say we both were walking together and he wanted to ask me if we could hang out and I guess he wasn't watching where he was going and bumped his head on the light post." I explained.

She gasped, "WAS HE ASKING YOU OUT ON A DATE??!!!"

"Aphmau!!!!"

"Oops sorry, lets get him inside."

I dragged Uncle Vylad with me inside and we both took him to her room.

"Is Uncle Aaron home?" I asked.

"No. Trav- I mean your dad needed to talk to him for some reason. I don't know why though. Plus, its very late for him to call Aaron."

Probably, for the proposal since Uncke Aaron was the first one to propose.

"Lets lay him on our bed." Aunt Aphmau said.

Aunt Aphmau and I placed him on her bed and all of a sudden, Aunt Lucinda came in.

"Hey guys. I heard a lot of yelling coming from here. Is everythi- Oh my gosh what happened to Vyald?"

"He bumped his head on the light post." I explained.

"And he was asking Makayla on a date!!! EEEEEEEEE!!!"

"Really?! EEEEEEEEE!!!!"

Both Aunt Luconda and Aunt Aphmau squealed and I shushed them.

"We can't wake Uncle Vyald up."

They obeyed and they stopped fangirling.

"Anyways, I'm just gonna take these off for a bit." I said as I went to a mirror to take of my orange contacts.

"Why do you need to take those off?"

"Cuz we're gonna sleep soon and I'm gonna be heading back to Aunt Lucinda's house now."

Just then, Uncle Vylad started yawning and he woke up right after I took out my contacts.

"Where am I? Oh hey guys...Uhhh why are Maya's eyes green? And why is she holding orange comtacts?"

"Uhhhh...."

I sighed in defeat, "I can explain.."

Aunt Aphmau and Aunt Lucinda looked at me shock while Uncle Vylad raised his brow in confusion.

After I explained everything, I noticed that he seemed really down and quite upset.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"O-Oh umm yeah I-I'm alright..I guess.." He looed at another direction and I just sighed. What happend to him?

"So...your real name is Makayla?" He asked.

"Yup"

"Well I still think your name is very pretty." He smiled.

I blushed but sniled at the conpliment. Yet my aunts still snickered and I just sighed.

"I still can't believe you're a child of Travis and Katelyn. I honestly never thought they would have a family together."

"Me neither" Aunt Lucinda agreed.

"Anyways, we really need you to keep this as a secret Vylad. Can you promise us not to tell anyone about Makayla?" Aunt Aphmau asked.

"Of course. I want to help Makayla as much as I can." He smiled.

"Thanks Uncle Vylad."

"No problem" He smiled again but this tume it seemed fake.

"We should probably get some sleep now. Its getting really late and we need to leave before Aaron comes back." Aunt Lucinda said.

"Wait, but where does Makayla sleep?"

"I sleep in Aunt Lucinda's house but on the couch since she doesn't have a guest room"

"We can't have Makayla sleep at Aphmau's house even though there's a guest room here. Aaron would probably freak out or something." Aunt Lucinda said.

"Well maybe Makayla can sleep at my house if she wants."

"Really?" I asked.

"Of course. You can sleep in my room while I sleep on the couch."

"Wait a minute, don't you have a double sided bed?" Aunt Aphmau asked.

"Yeah..why?"

"Then why can't you both sleep together?"

"Because it would be really awkward" Uncle Vylad and I said in unison.

"JINX" I yelled instantly.

Vylad looked at me wuth a are-you-serious face.

"Anyways, we should probably get some sleep now. Makayla, I think its best you shoukd go sleep with Vylad. You haven't been getting the best nights for the past few weeks so I want you to be as comfortabke as you can. Tomorrow morning, lets head to Vylad's house to plan out since the proposal is next week." Aunt Lucinda.

Uncle Vylad and I nodded. While Aunt Aphmau just yelled,

"LETS SAVE MY SHIP!!!!!"
