Goldie's POV

"Just what the hell do you think you are doing?!" A familiar voice rang behind me. Tears started to form in my eyes. I slowly turned my head to find a ticked off Spring behind me.
"S-Spring?" I stuttered, tears falling from my eyes. He walked fast towards me. "Spring I know your mad at me, but I can expla-" I was cut off as he grabbed my shoulders and... He kissed me. On the lips. The tears seemed to flow more as he kissed me. I was hesitant at first, but I dropped the good-sized rock in my hands, threw my arms around Spring's neck, and kissed him back, tears still flowing from my eyes. He finally broke the kiss and wrapped his arms around my waist, lifting me off the ground. I held onto him tight, not wanting to let him go ever again. He untied the rope around my waist and started to carry me bridal style back to the pizzeria. He looked down at me and looked right back at him.
"I'm glad I got to you just in time." He said. I kissed his cheek and gazed into his welcoming warm gray eyes.
"I'm glad you did too, Spring. If it wasn't for you stopping me, I could've been dead." I told him with more tears flowing from my eyes. He saw my crying again and pressed my closer to his chest to help me feel safer.
"Goldie, if I lost you, then I would be broken inside. More broken than I am on the outside." He said not looking down at me. I looked up to see that he was starting to cry too. I took my hands and wiped away his tears with my thumbs. He looked down and gave me a kiss on the forehead. After walking for awhile, I started to feel drowsy. Spring must of seen it.
"If your tired, you can always fall asleep. We're almost back at the pizzeria anyway." He said. All I did was nod before falling asleep in his arms.
Thanks Spring... For being there....

Yay! Another chapter done! Believe me, this was not easy to write. Thank god for Spring getting there just in time too. Even though I'm the one writing it, when I'm reading this it actually makes me cry. Oh! Also a special thanks to RandomMcGurl for voting on my last five chapters of this book.
