I only ever admired him from a far. Will he ever love me? Maybe it was all just a crazy dream that could never come true. Always watching him is what I did. That is what I'll stand by and continue to do.

"Amu are you sulking again?" Nadeshiko asked.

"Nadeshiko he's just so perfect." Amu said staring at kukai outside the window.

"I beg to differ." Nadeshiko said setting down a stack of books on Amu's desk. Amu looked up. "Math notebook." Nadeshiko said. Amu dug in her bag and gave her the math notebook that contained her poorly done homework.

"Kukai..." Amu said. Nadeshiko sighed.

If only she knew. Nadeshiko thought.

Kukai looked up. Is hinamori-san staring at me? So wierd. I wonder if she even knows that I can see her. He thought.

"Hinamori-san!" Some girls came up to her desk. "Is it just me or did Kukai get hotter over night?" They asked squealing.

"Why are you fangirling over that. It's so stupid." Amu said getting up.

"Cool and spicy!" They said. Amu walked into someone.

"Ow!" They said. Amu looked down and saw kings chair Tadase Hotori. Not who she expected to see at all. Her and Hotori had a falling out and they were never the same after that. They were even dating and that was a horrible way to break up. IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. I SWEAR TO GOD KIDS THESE DAYS.

Amu: don't break the 4th wall

"Ah, Amu just who I was looking for." Tadase said keeping up his fake princely attitude which dazzled all the girls. Amu used to be one of those girls. Not anymore. "Jack's chair wanted you to have this." He said handed her a folded piece of paper.

"Jack's chair?" She said curiously.

"Yes." He smiled brightly and walked past her.

Hello Hinormori-san,
I've noticed you've been starting at me every morning through the classroom window. Please meet me at the soccer field during lunch. -Kukai♡.

H-he noticed me? Amu thought blushing.

~lunch time~

At lunch break Amu came to the soccer field. No one was there. "What the hell? Is this some kind of joke!?" Amu turned around and started to walk until she fell on top of someone. She heard a grunt. She looked down. She blushed. "Oh my god! Kukai! I'm so sorry"! The boy looked up.

"You actually came!" He pulled her down back into their pervious position and hugged her. Amu blushed and tried to break away from the hug. She desperately wanted to get out of their wierd position before people got the wrong idea. Kukai let go. Amu got up.

"Y-you wanted to see me?" She asked brushing off her skirt.

"Yeah...um I wanted to get to know you more." He scratched the back of his neck. "Hinamori-san I called you here mainly because you seem interesting and you know we could be friends. You seem fun to be around and I was thinking it was best if I got to know you better. Honestly I see you around a lot so yeah". He said blushing a little embarrassed. "Um so can you tell me about yourself?"  Kukai asked nervously. Amu turned into her cold self.

"Ha! Well it's not like my life is exciting but I live with my mom and dad and I have a younger sister." She said. "I love the color pink and I like to eat omelet rice. My style is kinda punk rock. I'm pretty popular around here known as the cool n' spicy girl." She said.

"Well I have four brothers. I don't have any parents. My mother died when she gave birth to me. She didn't make it when I was born. My father died from stress trying his best to provide for us. But it's ok. My brothers always take care of me. Um my favourite colour is green and I don't really have a distinct style. I am friends with Tadase Hotori." He said. "Oh I also love ramen." He said smiling. Amu processed what he said. "How about you amu do you have any friends?" He asked.

"Yeah but I don't get to go home with her most of the time because she's in the guardians, queen's chair." Amu explained.

"Oh I know her. She's very kind hearted. I wish I had a girl who was my friend like her." Kukai Said. "And I think you're the one." Amu felt a stab to her heart.

D-did he just friend zone me!? She screamed in her head.

"Y-you don't even know me." She said.

"Well we could get to know each other." the lunch bell signaling the end of lunch. "Well she you around Amu." He said waving. Amu waved.

We finally talked for the first time this is a dream come true.
