"Hey." Jasper said.

"What do you want from me?" I said, trying to hide fear. But failed.
Her arms started to move towards me, so I braced myself and covered my arms over my face.
I waited for a hard hit.
Nothing.
I slowly removed my arms and looked at Jasper.
Her fist was out like it was about to hit me, but it's just frozen.
I looked at her fist confused and looked at her.
She was waiting for me.
What does she want me to do???
I slowly help up my hand and formed it into a fist.
I fist bumped her.
I'm probably gonna get laughed at.
She laughed. But not teasingly.
"I knew you would come around!" She said, smiling and accidentally hit me on my back too hard.

"Ah!" I yelled as I rubbed my back.
"Oops! Sorry heh." She said.
"Why the sudden change?" I asked her.
"Hmm? Why? Do you know me?" She asked. She paused for a while.
"Oh! You're the guy that was sitting next to Lapis at lunch last year. Aren't you?" She said.
I slowly nodded.
She raised her arm again this time, her hand was in a shaking position.
"Peridot. Right?" She said.
I hesitated but shook her hand anyway.
"Yes." I said.
"Congratz on your girlfriend by the way." She said.
Girlfriend???
"Girlfriend? I don't have a girlfriend." I said.
"So you and Lapis aren't???" She said.
Aren't what?
Then it hit me.
"W-wah? No! We're just friends." I defended. "Huh? I thought you two were dating?" She said.
"What makes you think that?" I asked.
"Well... For starters, She lives with you in the same house, you two are pretty close, etc." She said.
"Oh, the living with me thing is a long story. Though she's living with her mom now." I explained.
"I see. Well, I wanted to talk to you because I wanted to make it up to everyone I bullied before." She said.
"Oh, it's okay with me." I said, smiling.
"Really?! Can we be friends then?" She asked.
"Sure." I said.
"Yes! 10 down a lot more to go!" She said.
I watched as she celebrated.
"C'mon! I want you to meet my buddies!" She said, pulling me towards her group.
"Guys!" She called out for them.
They all turned their heads and looked at us.
"You need help with that?" One of them asked.
"Nah, I'd like you guys to meet my new friend." She said.
"Pfft." One of them let out.
"Can we talk for a second?" Jasper said as she eyed the one that snickered.
I waited for them to return and saw the one that snickered rubbing his arm.
"Anyways." Jasper said.
"That's Coal."
"Yo." Coal said.
"Emerald."
"Sup."
"Zircon."
"Wazzup?"
"And Bloodstone."
Bloodstone waved while rubbing his arm.
"Guys, this is Peridot." She said to them.
I waved at them and they all grinned.
"Welcome to the group Dot." Zircon said.
"Thanks?" I said.
We all chattered for a while and enjoyed each other's company.
"Peridot?" A familiar voice said.
