Peridot's POV

It's been a few days after Christmas and we are now waiting for New Years.

The others left after Christmas but will soon come again for New years.

Lapis seemed to forget about the kiss.
Which is great because she's no longer awkward to talk to.

"Hey Lapis?" I said.
"Yeah?" She said.
"I'm bored. Wanna go outside?" I said.
"Sure. What's the plan?" She said.
"Dunno. How about we go to the park or something?" I said.
"Pfft, boring. Let's go to an amusement park." She said, hope in her eyes.
Can't. Say. No. Whyyyy?!
"Sure."
"Yes!" She said jumping repeatedly.

I just simply giggled at her childlishness.
Cute.

We went out, heading to the amusement park.
As we entered it, Lapis immediately bought tickets for rides.
As she bought tickets, something caught my eye.
A blue teddy bear at a dart shooting stand.
I went to the stand and played.
Lucky for me, I've been playing darts often.
The owner of the stand gave me 5 darts.
He eyed me and smirked.
I shooted the 5 darts, not missing any balloons.
I smirked at the owner as he was awestruck.
I literally had to tap his shoulder to bring him back to reality.

"Looks like I won." I said, smirking.
He grunted.
"Which prize do you want?" He said, grumpily.
"That blue bear over there." I said.
He took the bear and shoved it to me.
I gave him a small laugh and walked away. But took a glance at him before leaving.
He's still wondering how I shot all the balloons.
Pfft.
I went back to Lapis and found her looking for me.
I sneaked at her back.
"Looking for me?" I said.
She jumped and let out a squeak.
"P-peridot! You scared me!" She said.
I giggled and gave the bear to her.
"For me?" She said, staring at the bear.
"Yeah. Take it." I said, almost shoving the bear to her.
She finally took it and hugged me.
I felt myself blush a little.
"Thanks, No one has ever given me a bear before." She said nuzzling me.
"Ehm, no problem." I said, smiling.
She let go of me and pulled me to the Ferris wheel.
We went inside and waited for the ride to carry us up.
As it did, we stared at the beautiful view.

"Wow, it's amazing." Lapis said.

I looked at her.

"Yeah." I said.

She caught me looking at her and giggled.

"You're not referring the view as me right?" She said giggling.

I blushed and she just giggled harder.

The ride soon ended and we hopped off it.
We headed home and found the others waiting for us outside.

"Hey! Where were you guys?!" Amethyst said.
"Oops. Guess we had too much fun." I said, winking at Lapis.

She giggled and kept hugging the bear I gave her.

"Oh! So Lapis finally gave you the good stuff?" Amethyst said, winking at me.

Me and Lapis blushed furiously but she hid her face using the bear.

"What? No! We were just at the amusement park!" I defended.
"Whatever you say Dot." Amethyst said.

We went inside the house and started preparing for New years.
While me and the others prepared food,
Amethyst, Steven, and Connie chose to prepare the fireworks.

We finally had everything prepared and waited till 12.
As the clock stroke 12, Amethyst began lighting up the fireworks.
The fireworkds were amazing, we watch it until every fireworks faded into the atmosphere.
We ate and had a lot of fun.
Once we were worn out, we decided to sleep.
